Service was excellent and the breakfast was always great. Prices of meals too high.

Hotel is very centrally located and is close/accessible to all things we need while on a business trip. Short walk to good eating joints, to metro train and to some shopping if you are looking for one.

The service was excellent - check-in and check-out were flawless. The buffet breakfast is really great. Room is a bit small but comfortable (esp. the bed) clean, etc. Location near BTS was perfect for going to shopping area. Would recommend!

We have been at the hotel before and hope to be back again. Excellent breakfast and whatever. Really recommend!

I spend over a month each year in the top hotels around Asia, the Plaza Athenee is by far the best. Wow.

Stayed here for a two night lay-over with family. Everything was great. A bit sterile though and felt a bit too much like all luxury biz-hotels do. Would however recommend if you are looking for a top-quality place to stay and not looking for the Thai experience.

The hotel has good location and is not far away from Sky train station and to down town is only two stops. The hotel is luxury hotel which has fitness center, very good spa, pool, around 6 different resturants, bars and convention center. Breakfast was good and you could find a realy a lot of different variarity of food from clasical to specifics on. […] For people who like good coffee you could find in breakfasr resturant Illy coffee. Employees of hotel were nice and helpfull. The room was nice, clean and proper size, not to small. Devamı

Nice hotel but much better choices in Bangkok for 5 Star Hotels. Next time I would rather go to a brand new or newly renovated hotel.

Excellent breakfast buffet with almost anything you could wish for. The hotel is suited for business trips with an excellent service. The only drawback is, that the hotel seems to be poorly maintained (or at least the rooms). I stayed for 4 nights with wife and 7 yo son and we found it to be an excellent value. The restaurant and room service were excellent, service and location too. Liked the pool and dry sauna. Only minus is that it has a slightly dated look and feel, and is not quite as elegant as some of its competitors. Color scheme is dark brown and green, and most […] of the copious dark wood trim is visibly scuffed, taking away from the 5 star impression. Also, was put off by the exorbitant charge for an extra cot for our son - it rivaled the cost of the room & breakfast, which rankled enough that we passed. Very good hotell and the food it is something great. The staff helps with everthyng.Not far from shopping center.

I've tried to think of something negative about this hotel, but can't. Except maybe that the service was so good that it was almost too much - I still keep expecting people too open the door for me when entering/exiting buildings.... ;-) Would recommend this to anyone going to Bangkok.

The breakfast, the pool area, the spa, and the hotel's location are all fantastic. It is not among the most spectacular hotels in Bangkok, but for the great deal we got on Hotels.com, we were absolutely satisfied. Our only complaints were minor ones... such as too much perfume in the lobby and hallway areas, and room service ice cream at twice the price […] of hotels in the same class. We stayed for three nights around New Year's Eve. Hotel was very clean, staff was very courteous and helpful and the hotel was located close to all shopping malls. I forgot my Apple I Phone in a taxi but the taxi driver drove back to the Hotel and handed my phone back to me. Amazing....this doesn't happen in many counties !! The hotel is conveniently located near a BTS station. The room was nice, but not quite at the level of a five star hotel. The breakfast, on the other hand, was very impressive.

Convenience location a minute walk for mass transit station. Embasey district less congest and secure. Perfect staffs service from entrance to room, enjoy the stay starts from excellent breakfast. Spacious pool though inside city center. The only point to be improved is the water pressure at bath room.

the past 22 years i have been visiting bangkok twice or sometimes three times a year and i have tried so many other hotels all 5 stars but for since i stayed as i remember the first time in 2003 i never think of changing to other hotel i highly recomend the Plaza Athenee for so many reasons

As with all top end hotels in Bangkok the PA is high quality, however it does not rank up there with the true greats like The Peninsula and Oriental! Overall we enjoyed our stay but it was slightly marred by two things :- 1) The consierge giving us the wrong position on a map of a fairly famous eating place which led us to be wandering around lost for […] half and whilst Bangkok certainly isn't dangerous I had my 14 yearold son with me so would have preferred to be dropped off at the correct place 2) the automatic 10% service charge on already high priced drinks and spa treatments (plus the sense of obligation to leave a cash tip for the lowly paid staff) means that it feels as though they are dragging every baht out of your pocket! Example a small glass of house wine in the bar ends up as $15!! Conclusion - good but not great!! Devamı

Good value for money, spacious room and very good services. Little surprises counts such as chocolate in the room and book mark left on my half read book.

Stayed three night go a free upgrade to club level. Room was fantastic as was the food as I held a conference there. Breakfast was varied And first rate. Will stay again.

This is a great hotel to use as a base in Bangkok. The service is great. The staff speaks excellent English. The pool is beautiful. The front desk was very accomodating when we needed a late check out. The lobby is gorgeous. The food is great. The breakfast buffet is worthwhile. Hotel has a five star location in the embassy corridor, near the elevated train system and within walking distance of some of the best malls. What really impressed me was the breakfast buffet and more importantly the staff and manager of the restaurant were outstanding for executing special request orders. I have stayed at other five star hotels in bangkok but by far Plaza Athanee has become my favorite because of all the little things that were done by the staff to make me feel truly welcomed. If you ever stayed at Paris' or New York' Plaza Athenee you are in for a great deception with the Bangkok location. We paid the price expecting the same level of comfort and luxury, but we were strongly disappointed. The level offered at this location is closer to a regular Meridien or Sheraton offerings, and so it's the service you can expect from […] the staff. We also stayed at the Banyan Tree a few days before and the difference was definitely worth the $30/night difference hotels.com offered. The hotel's greatest asset are its people. Stellar customer service, comfortable rooms, and great happy hour treats in the executive club lounge; The hotel smells lovely...Only downside was the cafe in the lobby had so so food. Location of the hotel is excellent. Its a 5 minute walk to all the major malls (Central Chidlom, Siam Paragon, MBK and Central World Plaza) in the city. Check in was smooth. We were given a complimentary late check out till 2.00 pm. Front desk was kind enough to extend it till 3.30 pm. Room was spacious and clean. Overall experience at the hotel was […] very good. very nice hotel, my husband and I was very happy ,staff are nice, and royal club room with included with breakfast ,afternoon tea, and drink , very good, worth every penny!

Ungewöhnliche Empfang beim Check-IN: Der Rezeptionist verlangt von mir ein gedrucktes Hotelvoucher. Vorzeigen der Buchungsbestätigung auf dem Notebook reicht ihm nicht aus. Erst hat die Einmischung einer Mitarbeiterin dem Rezeptionist bei der Klärung geholfen. Zimmer ist sehr elegant eingerichtet. Es gibt Arbeitstisch und es gibt auch einen anderen […] Tisch mit Begrüßungsfrüchten – 5 Sorten. Daneben ein Sessel, klein aber fein – sehr weich. TV, Safe nicht ungewöhnlich. Ungewöhnlich ist ein Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett. Das Fenster zur Welt ist Zimmerbreit und tagsüber keine Beleuchtung notwendig ist. Abends sind ausreichend Lampen vorhanden Das Bett hat wunderschöne Matratze. Die Körper versenkt drin. Bade-/Duschraum ist sehr hell: 4 Spots in Decke und große (lang und breit) Leuchte über dem Waschtisch. Auf Badewannenseite ist Wand aus Spiegel, vorne über Waschbecken auch Spiegelwand. Extra Duschkabine. Sterile Raum, aber sehr wohnlich: Über stillem Örtchen hängt ein Bild mit schöner Blume. Neben Wasserkocher ist auch eine Kaffemachine vorhanden. Ich kann einfach lösliche Kaffee bzw. Tee mit heißem Wasser aufgießen, oder gemahlenen Kaffe (Super Qualität!) zubereiten. Es stehen durch das Zimmer verteilt 6 Flaschen mit kostenlosem Wasser zur Verfügung. Sehr gute Swimmingpool den Plätzen unter der Sonne und überdachte Bereich. Schade, dass der Swimmingpool nur bis 21 Uhr benutzt werden kann. Ein kleine Trost: Nach dem Swimmingpool kann ich in die Sauna gehen und mich bis 23 Uhr schmoren lassen. Der Empfang beim Check-in hat der Auftakt zum Hotelaufenthalt gegeben: Ob Rezeption, oder Restaurant, oder andere Bereiche kommt Gefühl auf, dass ich abgefertigt und nicht bedient wurde. Devamı

どんどん新しいホテルが開業しているバンコクでは、設備等に古さを感じますが、スタッフの対応は良く、いろんなリクエストにもすぐ対応してもらい 快適に過ごせました。 ホテルからタクシーに乗る時はスタッフがトラブルの防止の為か、タクシーのナンバーを記載したホテルカードを渡してくれて、メーターを使うようにドライバーに言ってくれました。これは助かりました。 日本人にとって、これは仕方ないのかもしれないけど、朝食は満足できません。でも悪くないと思います。 落ちつて宿泊したい方にいいと思います。

ホテルに戻ってくる時、ほとんどの運転手がこのホテルを知らなくて説明するのに大変だった。名前も長いから。

Das Hotel ist ein bischen abseits in einem ruihgen Ort gelegen, das gut für Geschäftsreisende ist, hingegen als Privatperson würde ich eher nicht mehr gehen. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet, sehr bequemes Bett hingegen das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und ich war mit dem Badezimmer überhaupt nicht einverstanden für ein 5* Hotel.
