We arrived early; the receptionist was ungracious about storing our bags. When we checked in we found the room to be shabby, the beds were not comfortable and the brown blankets and carpet gave no impression of cleanliness. amazing location. literally a 3 minute walk to waikiki beach. right in the center of waikiki. you can walk everywhere. the bus stop is right outside. about three blocks from starbucks. about a ten minute walk to rainbows and zippys (if u want local plate lunch). just a block from the main waikiki strip.theres a foodpantry ( nice grocery store) a couple […] blocks down. walking distance to zoo and aquarium and minutes away from diamond head. you can take a 15 min bus ride to hanuma bay. a 10 min bus ride to ala moana. very very basic room. small but clean. has everything you need. no one stays in their rooms anyway, just to sleep and shower. this hotel sufficed. downside is the front desk is very unhelpful with directions or activities, etc. do ur own research for stuff to do. its worth the price for the location. We stayed one night at the Continental Surf Hotel in Waikiki and checked out the next day after being harassed in the elevator by a man who asked us for money and, when we said no, threatened us with a torch lighter.

The size of the room is small but not unusual for the price. The aircondition window unit is noisy and marginall. The building maintenace that has been performed in the past is very sloppy, thus, lowering the overall appearance of the hotel. The location is great and within walking distance of Waikiki beach and great restaurants.

We were greatly surprised with our hotel accommodations. They really exceeded our expectations. Sometimes when you get a good rate (cheaper then others) also means it may not be as good. We were very happy. 21st floor, ocean view, very convenient to walk around, close to good restaurants & they also had a place to book tours & buy water, etc. The only […] thing we did not expect was to pay $18 a day for ramp parking. This hotel is an excellent value esp. when booked online. pros: location, staff, kitchenette with microwave and fridge, all channel tv cons: smaller rooms (think of it as a cruise ship, or I hear "European Style" ) For romantic two adults, all of the above makes this hotel quite ok!

Rooms were very small.

We booked a room with Continental Surf because it was cheap and right in the middle of town. Great location & all we needed was a place to sleep and shower. The room was tiny, as expected, but had a microwave, mini fridge/freezer, AC, iron/board & blow dryer. The rooms were somewhat clean, but there was some sort of writing on the picture with wax.. […] creepy. One night we came back from going out in the early AM and our door was slightly open. For the price I paid for the room, it was pretty much what I expected. However, the elevators are super slow and they need to have ice machines located on other floors and not JUST the 6th floor.

hotel was pretty dirty. We stayed there for a week, and they did not change the lines. for all whole week.

And that was a GOOD thing -- considering what was there... The hotel is run down -- the walls and ceiling could have used a REAL paint job vs. the 1 see through coat -- the bed was worn out 10 years ago -- but all and all, I was happy with my stay... My brother in law stayed at the Marriot for MUCH MORE and his room was about the same... In talking […] with people there, I realized that a lot of the hotels are run down and old -- so... That is not why I went to Hawaii -- and I had an AWESOME vacation there regardless of the room... Its location is PERFECT -- and the staff was very friendly... HIDDEN GEM RIGHT SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF WAIKIKI

We've stayed 3 times at this hotel. It's just the two of us and it's a bit cozy. (lol)these rooms are small as I'm sure one will see with other reviews. The price of the room is what makes up for the inconviences the room offers. they do come with a fridge, microwave,coffee maker and hair dryer to help with a stay on a budget and for someone that wants […] to pack light. As my wife is a coffee drinker we are disappionted that cofee is supplied only the first day of your stay. You may be able to purchase coffee from the front desk, but we've never bothered. Nice, but overworked staff. Charged 18.00 a day to park car in the hotel's garage. Very Very small rooms. Only two elevators for the whole hotel and they can sometimes take awhile to reach the upper floors. I wouldn't stay there again unless there were no other options in Waikiki.

I don't stay in my room other then sleep & shower. So, for the price its not bad. The bus stop is right outside the door. Really convenient. I stayed here twice now.Most likely will stay here again.

this hotel was great for just needing a place to sleep and bathe. i recommend it if you are simply staying in Hawaii for a few days and are on a tight budget. my room was on the eight floor and had view was not as great but really who stays in the room just for the view? it was a short walk to the beach and the international market place. the only […] poor thing about the room is the air circulation, i had to open the windows (which only opened a little) in order to cool the room down since the air condition didnt really work i guess. it did smell but it was probably because someone was smoking in one of the rooms and the smoke traveled through the vents. but i didnt mind it as much. so really if your looking for something cheap go here or any of the other aqua hotels in waikiki. cause why spend money on a hotel when all your gonna use it for is to sleep? Would definitely recommend it if you just need a cheap place in central location to spend the night. Close to the beach, shops, restaurants. Not the cleanest. I found a dead cockroach in the bathroom LOL. You get what you pay for. Note that there's a fee for parking and it is high. You can park in a hotel a block away for half the price.

ビーチから少し離れているのが気がかりでしたが、歩いて数分だし、分かりやすい場所なので問題ありませんでした。オーシャンビューのシングル、３１階はとても見晴らしが良く、金曜日夜のヒルトンの花火が良く見えました。ワイキキの海岸線こそ見えませんが、水平線と街、眼下には緑の公園が広がり、とてもゆったりした気分になれました。

Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit à cet hôtel, donc la vue est très succincte ... Ce que je peux dire c'est que l'accueil est sympathique, les gens sont serviables, tout était propre. Dans la salle de bain, il y avait une baignoire :-), mais les WC étaient dans la même pièce :( C'est une barre d'immeuble comme on en trouve beaucoup à Waikiki !
