Hotel Nena - İstanbul

really satisfied from the location, breakfast and service. i advice everybody to stay in this type hotels small and friendly. Will stay again and again if i go there

This hotel was ideal in all ways: friendly, efficient staff; comfortable and clean room; ensuite with excellent shower; good food; perfect location for historic sites and access to tram and best of all the view over the Blue Mosque from the Restaurant.

Enjoyed staying at the Hotel Nena very close to the tram which basically gets you to all the popuar sites, plus it's also very short walking distance to the Blue Mosque and Hagea Sofia and Grand Bizzare. plenty of restuarants to choose from all just a stones throw away. The staff were very kind and helpfull. Breakfast both turkish and western was tasty […] and substantial. the room was a bit small though, with a support column that was in the way.but understand that's how it can be with some of these buildings in the old part of town. The hotel was clean, walking distance from many of Istanbul's major attractions, as well as located in a safe neighborhood. More importantly, the hotel staff was so hospitable. They were so friendly and even gave me a box of Turkish sweets to bring home. Hotel Nena deserves more than 5 stars!

My husband and I were received by the hotel staff at the door. We immediately felt we were in good hands and safety. The location is excellent. Walking distance to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topaki, Grand Bazzar, Basilica Cistern. The tram stop (Sultanahmet) was right there. The only negative is that in the morning is a little bit noisy (open and closing […] doors, morning trafffic noise) Nevertheless, this doesn't bother us. We could rest and enjoy our room. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a great view of Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque, a great staff. Devamı

Nena is a fabulous hotel -- very clean and comfortable with nice decor. The rooms are small by US standard, but standard by European standards. The location is ideal -- just a 5 minute walk from the Hagia Sophia in one direction, and a 5 minute walk from the Grand Bazaar in the other. You can't beat the neighborhood! Another highlight is breakfast […] -- the breakfast room has a spectacular view of Istanbul. You'll not want to miss breakfast, just to take advantage of the view! And the food is quite excellent as well. However, the best reason to stay at Nena is the staff. They are incredibly sweet and helpful, and all knew my name from the minute I walked in the door. I never felt like 'just another guest,' and felt like a VIP throughout my stay. Unfortunately, my luggage didn't show up at the airport, but the Nena staff called on my behalf every few hours for a day and a half until finally appearing at my door with my long lost luggage. The Hotel Nena is a perfect location to see the sights if you have a short time in Instanbul. We walked to the majority of sights. The rooftop restaurant has a dramatic view of the old city and the bridge after dark. Room was clean and satisfactory for our short stay. My wife and I have visited Istanbul many times and Hotel Nena is certainly on the list of hotels we would book again. It is in an ideal location, close to a tram stop, at sultanahmed and close to the Grand Bazaar. Breakfast was good, they had variety, and have a great view of the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia. Just steps from the Blue Mosque stop on the tram line with an unsurpassed view from the breakfast room. An excellent older hotel in excellent condition with a very accomodating staff. We had a great stay and would certainly stay here again.

Central location for sightseeing, withing 500 metres of all the key sights. Beside the tramline, so convenient for longer journeys, including to/from airport (although required transfer between tram/metro stations could be awkward for less mobile people or if lots of luggage). The Hotel Nena in Istanbul Turkey is simply fabulous!!! Having traveled the US, Europe, South America and The Caribbean I can honestly say that I was very impressed with the Hotel Nena. The hotel is centrally located in Istanbul within walking distance to all major sites, eg Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Spice Market, Column of Constantine, Spice Market. […] The hotel occupies a space close to several other hotels, a rug store and souveneir shops are also nearby. The Hotel Nena stands out among the rest. Upon arrival you are greeted by eager, professional staff who take your luggage and offer you a choice of welcome Turkish Coffee or Tea. I recommend the Tea. If you are a budget traveller like me, i suggest taking the public tram from the airport to the hotel. From airport you pay TL 1.75 to Zentanburm tram stop. At this stop you pay another TL 1.75 to get to Sultanhamet tram stop, the hotel is located two block from tram stop. As a landmark you will first pass Ramos Gift Shop, another one of my recommendations....stop and ask for directions if yopu must. The rooms at the Hotel Nena are well decorated, clean, and comfortable, the beds are simply inviting and firm. The buffet breakfast is just as displayed in Ad and very delicious ... the view of the Blue Mosque is Breath taking. Staff displays exceptional hospitality and warmth especially Ahmed, He is a wonderful local reference. All in all I highly recommend the Hotel Nena in Istanbul and I do plan to return. This hotel was very convenient to many places. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, The Grand Bazaar and the Spice Market were all within blocks of the hotel. Very conveniently located to public transportation (2 blocks) which made for easy and inexpensive transport from the airport to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and explained things around the […] hotel upon arrival with welcome Turkish coffee. The rooms were very clean and of adequate size. The breakfast buffet was excellent offering some western dishes along with many Turkish dishes. I was truly impressed. The breakfast is served upstairs with a terrace sitting overlooking the Blue Mosque and the water. There is many things to see here in Istanbul and many of them are right there by the hotel. I read reports of the A/C not working properly that was not the case for us. We actually got very cold enough to use a second blanket.. just the way I like it being from Florida originally and then going through the hot Manhattan summers. Hotel Nena had excellent service and teh hotel was nice and clean.. the roof top restaurant / bar had great views […] of the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia.. it is 20 meters from the Blue Tram line which can get you pretty much anywhere you would like to see. This is a wonderful Boutique Hotel and i would recommend Hotel Nena to everyone... Devamı

Excellent location - close to all major sights. Within walking distance of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia. Tram station is 2 mins. walk. Hotel is clean, spacious & staff very polite & friendly. All speak good English.

The best part of staying in Istanbul was Hotel Nena. I'll always remember those guys. It was the first time I had ever encountered a hotel staff member refusing to take a tip because he said, "please, no, it's my job". The manager and desk were just as wonderful and spoke perfect English. Gracious, kind, considerate, generous, friendly, funny, welcoming, […] attentive, refined, skilled, educated, respectful...these words and more describe the behavior given to us there for 5 days. We actually stayed for 2 then left to go to the asian side, then came back to Nena - which is unusual since I like to try many hotels - and many there were. The breakfast is the first that I can remember, other than a grandiose Dubai resort that served such an array of local tastes, healthy and interesting, tasty for those who like sweet and savory. Everything was fresh, never a shortage and they never closed down until all people were happy and served. Then there's the view while eating breakfast of both the blue mosque and Hagia Sofia AND the Sea!The lobby is pretty and it's pleasant to just sit there or invite friends. Free wifi! Easy free access to Internet downstairs if you didn't bring your laptop. It just had everything. But the best thing about it - was the staff, managed by one of the best I've come across in my world travels. When they lined up to say goodbye as I handed my bags to the Taxi, they told me sincerely they hoped that I would be back and I meant it when i said, I would! Devamı

Hotels.com lists it as a 4 star hotel but their sign out front says three star, so if that makes a difference, you might want to take note of that. Otherwise, we loved the hotel and the staff. The location was fabulous. The only slightly negative thing was that the shower was a little akward.

Frontの連中も大変に親切で、自分たちのHotelの質、 満足度を高めたい意欲を感じました。 またトルコのHotel協会では3ッ星で、Hotels.comでは ４ッ星になっていることも、上を目指す要因になって いると思いますが、いつかトルコの協会も４ッ星認定を することを願っております。

立地は良い、観光には便利。 値段なり。可もなく不可もなく。 ただし、空港までタクシー呼んでもらったら・・ メーターなしタクシー？！（見たところなかった） 案の定、スルタンから2往復した空港までのタクシーで最高値。（過去スルタンまでは３５TL1度も超えなかった）４５TLと。そこらで捕まえてぼったくられるならまだしも、ホテルで呼んでこれだ・・。 これで印象最悪になっただけですが。参考までに。

Lage ideal (Blaue Moschee, Hagia Sophia, Großer Basar in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar), Service in Ordnung. Leider hatte ich vom Zimmer nur den Blick in einen engen Innenschacht, mit einer relativ lauten Abluftanlage. In Summe Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung.

The hotel was nicely furnished, very clean, with friendly staffs. Above anything, the location was perfect to go anywhere in old town on foot, tram station is also within 5min walk. The view from roof terrace was amazing!! Better take enough time for your breakfast:)

Hotel tres bien situé pr partir à la visite de la ville.... Par contre une chambre coté rue et de surcroit au 1er étage vous garantira des nuits très courtes et peu reposantes!!!
