The stay for us as a couple was great, i would return to this hotel. I would have given it a full rating except that it was missed it by few minor things such as no trash can / pen /writing paper/ napkins-tissues in room, dated (but clean) bathroom, and no room service, or food menus. However, its all ok because of location (walking distance to restaurants), […] Hiagh Sofia, Blue Mosque, Bazaar, and tram. The staff spoke good english and was knowledgeable of touristy needs, they can call cabs for you, give you recommendations, and make your stay pleasant. Breakfast on the terrace was simple, but nice variety that included all your basics, breads, honey/jams, tea/juice, eggs, milk, and cereal (all good in quality and presentation). It was snowing for few days, rooms where generally comfortable, but the heater had a crazy schedule and it would be cold for a little bit then very warm later. But nothing intolerable. Due to the proximity to the road, you can here some street vendors and other walker-by, but that makes it more authentic. Devamı

Nice family hotel just below the Blue Mosque. Quiet and perfectly safe neighbourhood. Friendly staff, but the reception was not too sharp in responding to specifik requests. Clean rooms. Stunning view from the breakfast restaurant on the rooftop. Nice breakfast.

We stayed here and were very satisfied. Perfect location for seeing blue mosque, aya sofya, the hippodrome and being near the old city. Safe neighborhood, easy walking distance to the sites, around town. Our room was a little small, but only there to sleep, right? Nice buffet breakfast with a stunning view of the water. Nice staff too. Recommend!

Stayed during 3rd week of June, 2011. Excellent location. Great location and quiet too. VERY helpful staff. Descent breakfast plus gorgeous view of the bay! Reasonably close to the airport. Hotel happily accomodated a request routed through Hotels.com representative to shift the date of arrival due to the computer breakdown at United. The managers of the Hotel are so nice I recommend this hotel just so you can meet them :) The hotel is a bit old, but well maintained and the rooms are extra-clean. You'll benefit from the renown hospitality of Turkish people at Tashkonak Hotel!

It's difficult to find this hotel, because of late time. But service is excellent, and breakfast is fantastin to view bosphorous sea.^0^ And when we came back istanbul after visiting cappadokia, thank you for keeping our luggage. (We should go to airport on same day^^;;) We should stay Tashkonak hotel when we visit Istanbul again.^0^

Wonderful hotel. Service was amazing and staff was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

A very good value hotel. I stayed here with my Mum for a shopping and site seeing weekend in early December. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful with very good local knowledge. Would recommend for a budget break!

Hotel was in a great location on a small side street that was difficult to find initially. The room was clean and large. The bed was a little too firm. The breakfast was excellent and the staff extremely helpful.

Close to major museums and mosques

We were visiting Turkey for the first time. We booked reservation for one week in Tashkonak hotel in Istanbul, from July 16-23, we loved the hotel, its value and its ideal location in the center of old Istanbul. When we found that Istanbul and its surrounding areas have a lot to offer and decided to stay three more nights in the hotel. The hotel was […] in the center of all major sites. You could walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Museum and the Grand Bazaar. It is also within a short walking distance to the Tramway to the marine terminals to areas around Istanbul. The buffet breakfast was also very good and plentiful. The hotel staff were very nice and could speak good English and were very helpful in arranging trips within Turkey. They made reservation for us in a lovely hotel in Sile and Agva on the Black Sea on a very short notice. They simply are great and very friendly. The location of this hotel was excellent. Walking distance to all major tourist sites. You wake up to the call from the Blue Mosque one block away. It is however a short walk to another street where the bulk of hotels and nightlife in the area is located. Breakfast terrace has great view.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and given lots of advice on how best to see the city of Istanbul. The hotel is beautiful with a really great location in Sultanahmet near the major attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was some of the friendliest and most helpful that I've encountered. You couldn't beat the location - close to all the great historic site in the old city.

The Tash Konak hotel is a beautiful little hotel. Rooms are of a good size, clean sheets,clean bathroom,, however one thing is that the floor does not get cleaned on a daily basis. The hotel is within walking distance to many of the main attractions in Istanbul i.e Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Underground Cistern. Plenty of restaurants […] and cafes nearby. The Tash Konak is a small hotel that has been running for mor ethan ten years, but looks as if it is much newer. It is composed of three old houses that have been restored to make one hotel with two stairways up. The lack of an elevator, which is normal for hotels of this kind, could put some people off, since there wre 72 steps from my room up to the […] breakfast on the roof. But I found the climb to be good exercise. I chose this hotel as a place to conduct a working session that involved five scholars for ten days. Although there is not a meeting room at the hotel, and it could have annoyed the other guests to have us working there, we tried to be discreet and to be there when everyone else was out sight seeing. We had taken an extra room to use as a working space, and that was a very good idea. We found the small patio off the basement room that I occupied to be a very good working space, especially since it was bright even though it had no direct sunlight, and was cool even in the middle of the day. On that patio, computer screens were easy to read even at noon. We had available several other places in the hotel where we could work in pairs or in threes. The outdoor patio at the rear of the hotel, which is the best feature of the establishment, with tables in the shade of an ancient Byzantine wall and neighboring large trees and surrounded by plants and flowering shrubs, was a delight to occupy for conversations, tea and coffee, or for work when no one else what there. The staff was very attentive without being at all pushy, and they were ready to go out to bring in drinks that they did not serve themselves. The hotel serves a very good buffet breakfast on the roof, either outside under an umbrella or in an glass-enclosed room. The view of the harbor and the ships queuing up to go through the Bosphorus is a good one. The near view is not as inspiring, since there are several houses below that have not yet been restored. Camera piccola ma accogliente. Bagno in camera sufficientemente spazioso, con doccia e acqua calda 24h su 24 (non tutti gli hotel di Istanbul offrono questo servizio). Pulito e ordinato: la camera veniva rifatta con cura ogni giorno. Dotazione di lenzuola, piumino, coperte, ciabatte e set da bagno (asciugamani puliti ogni giorno, docciashampoo e sapone […] mani). Wi-fi gratuito in camera. Frigobar e aria condizionata indipendente. Hall con divani e tè offerto dall'hotel durante tutta la giornata. 我和老婆以及另外两对朋友2012年1月在这里住了四晚。总体的感觉超出我的预期。 首先，酒店处于一个半山坡的位置，这里去附近的旅游景点都在步行距离内（旧城区的蓝色清真寺、索菲亚、以及一系列博物馆）。门口还有个便利店可用。 房间并不太大但够用，从房间里基本看不到清真寺和海，但顶层的阳光早餐厅太棒了，早餐相比很丰富，而且景观很好，我们甚至在晚上自己开了两次PARTY。房间的暖气很热，这对于在冰冷的冬天街道上走了一天的人来说是多么美好和期待。 餐厅、前台的服务人员都非常热情友好，尽可能帮忙指路和介绍行程。我们还在这里预定了土耳其浴，车接车送，时间不太长，就算是个体验。 唯一美中不足的是酒店并没有午饭和晚饭供应，附近的几家餐馆也就算是旅游定点餐厅，价格稍贵，做的也就一般。 这里距离最近的电车TRAM车站走路大概5、6分钟。 总的来说，酒店物超所值，装饰有些特色，员工很热情，房间干净整洁，冬天暖气很足，距离旅游景点近，早餐丰富。下次我还会选择这里！ We […] have a great stay here on Jan 2012. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, toimivat siistit huoneet ja hyvä aamupala. Sijainniltaan lähellä Hagia sofiaa, sinistä moskeijaa, Grand bazaaria ja Topkapia. Taksikuski ei meinannut löytää lentokentältä hotellia. Suosittelen kaikille Istanbuliin matkaileville lämpimästi.

При невысокой стоимости проживания в этом отеле мне все очень понравилось . Сам номер конечно не шикарный , но чистый . Если Вы приехали посмотреть Стамбул , а не номер в отеле - то вполне подойдет !!! Лучше селиться на нижних этажах , там почти не слышно утренний намаз , который можно услышать с 6 до 6-15 . Но от этого никуда в Стамбуле не деться . […] Завтраки хорошие ( два вида омлета и штук 5-10 салатов и т.д. ) Это конечно не 5 звезд в Анталии , но в целом не плохо . Если добавить еще чудесный вид на Босфор из кафе , то вообще все отлично ! Персонал на русском не говорит , но если есть элементарные знания английского - то нет проблем . Через рецепшен можно заказать пицу - не дорого( 25 лир- 2 пицы и литр колы ) + в этом же здании есть магазин . В окрестностях отеля - множество кафешек , но я в них не заходил , поэтому ничего не скажу о них . Самым главным преймуществом этого отеля является то что он действительно находиться в пяти минутах ходьбы до " Софийского собора" и " Голубой мечети " !!!!! Не надо тратиться на такси ! А такси в Стамбуле не дешевое . От туда пройдя 5-10 минут можно попасть на громадный рынок . Там же ходит так называймое наземное метро на котором легко можно добраться до Босфора и покататься на катере . Там же рядом еще дворец и многое другое . Вообщем идеальное место для желающих посмотреть Стамбул ! Все - рядом !!! Devamı

Ett trevligt, rent och fint hotell. Trevlig personal, kanske lite litet rum men allt man behöver fanns. Gång avstånd till flera stora sevärdheter och 10-15 min promenad till spårvagnen som kan ta dej till andra nöjen/sevärdheter.

Были в Стамбуле всего 3 дня (к большому нашему сожалению). Город изумительный, и достойным дополнением его служит отель Ташконак. Находится он в шаговой доступности от Голубой мечети и собора Святой Софии. Узкие улочки выводят тебя прямо на главную площадь старого города. В самом отеле на удивление (поскольку всего 3 звезды) продумано всё, чтобы гость […] чувствовал себя как дома. Особенно порадовал обслуживающий персонал. На любой вопрос, любое пожелание получали быстрые и доброжелательные ответы, и главное, что всё делалось с неизменной и искренней улыбкой на лице. А какое начало каждого дня! Завтрак на открытой или закрытой терассе( по вашему выбору) на крыше отеля с видом на мраморное море с одной стороны и на Голубую мечеть с другой. Ловили себя на мысли, что хочется подольше задержаться здесь, и последняя чашечка кофе вдруг оказывалась предпоследней и так далее и так далее. Номера очень чистые, ухоженные. Расписанные в оригинальном стиле потолки радуют глаз,на первом этаже во внутреннем дворике есть чайная терасса (бесплатная).За всё время встретили только одну пару из России, что довольно таки странно, но для многих несомненно окажется дополнительным бонусом. Единственный минус - оооочень тормознутый компьютер в холле (бесплатный) Чтобы зарегиться на обратный рейс он-лайн ушло минут 20. Perfect location to visit the heart of Istanbul walking. Great connection by public transport with the Atatürk airport (tram + metro, just 1 change), taxi about 30 min. You feel at the hotel like at home, very helpful staff, good recommendations, great service! The room and breakfast were ok - good value for money. I warmly recommend the hotel!

찾기 힘든 위치에 있어 밤에 도착해서 더 힘들었어요.. 주변에 많은 호텔들이 있으니 다른곳을 예약하는게 훨씬 나을듯했어요... 조식두 별로에요..ㅜㅜ

位置很好的酒店，安静，每天早晨让海鸥的叫声给吵醒，开窗就是大海，是度假住的好地方，离各个著名的旅游景点也只有5分钟的步行路程。

Ihana ja tunnelmallinen hotelli, jossa henkilökunta on mukavaa. Kävelyetäisyydellä moniin tärkeimpiin nähtävyyksiin. Menisin uudestaankin!

Price acceprable, great location, most important for old boutique hotel - warm roooms, great garden inside, very quiet, great roof terrace, friendly personnel, 10 points from 10.

Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal och god frukost på hotellets terrass. Hotellet ligger i gamla stan med gångavstånd till de flesta sevärdheterna. Rummen rena och snygga med sköna sängar och bra toalettutrymmen. Hotellet hämtade upp oss från flygplatsen, vilket är en bera början i en ny stad!!!

立地条件は良いが、かなり狭く、あまり快適とはいえない。朝食も毎日同じもので飽きる。

Situé dans un quartier calme mais à toute proximité du centre touristique principal et de la station de tram "Sultanhamet" offrant un accès rapide à tous les lieux de visite. Accueil chaleureux et bon enfant; petit déjeuner copieux, varié avec vue sur la mer et terrasse.

Le bon : proximité du centre ville, point de vue de la terrasse où est pris le pt dj Le moins bon: chambres donnant sur la rue trés bruyante : bruits du quartier + chant du Muezzin à proximité + cris des mouettes+ pdj banal
