Best Western Kom Hotel - Stockholm

The hotel was fine. Be aware that there are two separate buildings. Until arrival I had not been aware that my booking required a short outdoor walk (in cold temperatures) to the reception, breakfast area and gym/sauna. My room was generally clean, but a bit dusty. It is a nice hotel. The room is fine and service person is friendly. The bed is a little soft for me. Breakfast is good; however it could be crowed, especially during the one hour time slot before close time. At first I lived in a single room face to the street, the noise is ok when I close the window, however, I think the ventilation of the whole […] building is not enough, and then I have to open the window to welcome the fresh air. I asked the front desk to change a room the next day, and had to wait for one more day because of the same type of rooms had been fully booking and nobody moving out. Then I change a double room the third day morning, which is peaceful with a lot of space. There are free fruit, coffee and desert in the hobby, which give cosy atmosphere. The hotel is not air-conditioned and in hot weather (summer months in Stockholm are sometimes hot) can be uncomfortable. Bathroom is fine but with a shower curtain and no shower pan--just the floor with a drain. Lower floor-- and rooms thereon-- is barely 10 feet above the sidewalk and street, and with open windows (due to lack of ac) it can be very […] noisy. There is an ice machine in the lobby--which most European hotels lack. Location not bad--two blocks from a Stockholm main avenue and close to metro (5-minute walk). Everyone should know right away that Stockholm is expensive - period. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from where the cruise ships dock so there is plenty to do without needing a cab. The daytime staff at the Best Western Kom were very friendly and a wealth of information. There was a girl who worked the overnight shift who was not friendly at all and […] just displayed a poor attitude in general. The room itself was somewhat smaller than I expected but there were three of us in it. The hotel accomodated us as best they could. The continental breakfast was outstanding. All in all, I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay if you cannot afford the normal Stockholm hotel rates. Devamı

Very convienient. Great breakfast,helpful staff. There is however a "club" across from the entrance open from 2100 to 1700. Several cabs of drunk men were deliverede in the wee hours and were loud. No reflection on the hotel, but either don't open your window(we did) or have your room not facing the front of the building. Otherwise a very nice stay […] . Devamı

Great value for what we paid and good access to the centre & sites via tube or no.2 bus. We had a room for 3, very comfortable & ace shower. Though spotlessly clean, decor was a little tired. Breakfast good, staff very helpful. Only downside was some outside noise as we had the window open during the night. Wd definitely go back.

Noisy and old

Watch out so you get a room away from Doebelnsgatan. The traffic woke me up at 4.30 every morning, and the gym didn't open until 11 so I couldn't use the time. Small room.

We were pleasantly surprised with this 3 star hotel. It was much nicer and much more comfortable than we had imagined. It's a short walk to downtown, but overall a great location for the money. Definitely recommend this hotel.

15 mins away from central station (walking) great location close to many shops and sights., -friendly staff -very clean rooms Awesome breakfast, more than you expect from a regular complimentary breakfast.

The only reason that I gave a 4 instead of a 5 to the room comfort was because the mattress was too soft (a think slab of foam on a base, which was too soft). But the room was otherwise very comfortable with nice shower and WC. The staff at the reception desk are extremely pleasant and helpful. This hotel gives a cozy and comfortable feeling, with a […] small but highly functional lobby (coffee, tea, computers, even books). A small criticism is that it took too long to fix one of the non-functioning computers in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was lovely - plenty to eat, even for vegetarians. There were also newspapers at breakfast, and we enjoyed reading the International Tribune while enjoying our breakfast. The location is superb - a few blocks from a subway, so you can get to wherever you want when you don't want to walk. The location was good but not perfect. It was close to the T-Bana should you need to travel further distances or not want to lug your luggage around. The majority of the sights could be reached on foot. The breakfast buffet was very good. It had plenty of options including a taste of Scandinavian fare. Our room had a pullout couch which was handy. Hotel Kom on hyvällä paikalla. Aamiainen on huippuluokkaa... voit jopa paistaa vohveleita itse, kahvia monia laatuja... Kuntosali on superhyvä , monipuolinen , ollen tosin auki päiväsaikaan. Sisältää myös saunan. Wi-Fi toimii huoneessa moitteettomasti.

Bra hotell med närhet till allt, trevlig personal

Kan varmt rekommendera Kom Hotel på Döbelnsgatan. Mycket trevligt och prisvärt, och inom gångavstånd till det mesta i centrala stan.

Måste tyvärr säga att kaffet smakade skit annars var hotelet super bra

Som base for en kursweekend var det helt supert. Ett av de få hotellene som har frokost før 08 i weekenden. Merk at treningsrommet stenger tidlig i weekend. Grundig rengjøring av rommene hver dag, og veldig trivelig personale.

Kanonbra läge, fräscht rum bra frukost men eländigt kaffe.

Vi var mange som overnattet på samme hotell. Det var enkelt å finne plass til alle v/samme bord og vi fikk spise frokost sammen med betalende venner utenfra, slik at vi fikk mer tid sammen. Da vi satt i vestibylen ble vi tilbudt servering av det vi måtte ønske og vi kunne forsyne oss med kaffe og te. Veldig hyggelige og servicevennlige, både i resepsjonen […] og ved frokosten. Läget är oslagbart - det tar 5 minuter att promenera till Drottninggatan - 10 minuter till Kungsgatan/Oscarsteatern, 10 minuter till stand-up på Norra Brunn. Massor med små bra restauranger i kringliggande kvarter. Helt klart prisvärt och bra lägesmässigt. Ska man däremot tillbringa mycket tid på hotellet så finns det bättre hotell att bo på, men för […] den som endast behöver någonstans att sova och äta frukost är det här perfekt. Devamı

Ett bra hotell med god beliggenhet. kort vei til centralbane stasjon og T bane, for lengre opphold er det bra med trenings muligheter. god frokost.

Super Hotel til prisen, Vi var to voksne og et barn på 7 mdr. Alt fungerede helt fint. Det tager ca. 10-15 min. gang til centrum. Helt fint hotel til prisen!

Aelteres Hotel, sauber, einfach und relativ günstig für Stockholm. Nette Receptionistin, sehr behilflich. Realtiv reichhaltiges Früghstück. Ruhig gelegen, aber trotzdem zentral. Waren für ein verlängertes Weekend in Stockholm im Oktober 2011. Können dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Vi bokade ett rum för 3 personer och fick då ett dubbelrum med en bäddsoffan. Förutom bäddsoffan var rummet helt ok. Bäddsoffan var det mest obekvämaste jag sovit i så det är under all kritik. Frukosten var helt ok men kaffet smakade skit. Läget helt perfekt. Lagom gångavstånd till centrum och inget som störde på natten.

Ett hotell man bor på för att det ligger bra till. Ett trevligt hotell, kaffe i lobbyn, god frukost och bra läge. Personalen var väldigt hjälpsam. I övrigt rent men utan lyx. Praktiskt!

Ett medelklass hotell i en lägenhetsbyggnad. Väldigt mörkt och dystert rum. Receptionspersonalen var inte otrevlig, men inte heller speciellt vänlig. Kändes som om de verkligen inte brydde sig att du var där. Inte ett ord om "hoppas vistelsen ska bli bra". "välkommen hit" eller "välkommen åter"... Bor på hotell ca 100 dagar på ett år, men möter sällan […] så "uttråkad" personal. Frukosten var ok, men inte mer. Allt med hotellet kändes verkligen som lågbudget. Hotellet ligger i två hus. Rummen är små och inte speciellt välplanerade eller välutrustade. Allt rent, personalen trevlig men hotellet är opersonligt och ganska krångligt med uppdelning i två hus.
