I really enjoyed my stay in NH Duc de la Victoria. It was just a block away from La Rambla the center of all fun and colorful activities surrounded by many restaurants and the biggest and the fanciest farmers' market in Europe, old, narrow and beautiful alleys. This hotel is great, it is in an ideal location (not even 2 minutes to Las Ramblas) and is clean, comfortable, and affordable. The only thing i would have to say about it is that is on a very quiet side street - great as its quiet at night time but bit of a scary walk in the early hours of the morning! We went here in January so i can imagine that the […] street leading up to the hotel would be quite busy in Spring/Summer. Also, no tea and coffee making facilities - but loads of cheap coffee shops around! I read reviews prior to coming to the hotel about it being hard to find, my advice is to check it out on Google maps before you go - we found it instantly! if you get off the shuttle bus (or taxi) at Placa Catalunya and walk down the Ramblas (left side) its the first left and then the second right as far as i can remember! NH Duc de la Victoria is located just 2 min from Catalunya Metro Station & a min walk away from La Rambla, the hottest tourist strip. Many attractions are found along this strip, so its a good choice to stay near the strip to venture around. It is also near the Catalunya bus stop where you can take bus no. A1 to & fro El Prat Airport, so you can save […] on taxi fare. The only con is that they don't provide you with a kettle. We got to ask for it as we longed for hot tea at the end of the day from the cold weather. Overall, I will definitely recommend it to anyone as it is definitely value for money, much less than what I had expected to pay in Europe & at such a good location. Devamı

Everything about our 4 day stay at this hotel was excellent. The location is on a quiet street a block from the La Rambla and two blocks from Catalunya where the bus from the airport makes its last stop. Room was great with a small balcony. Free wifi but only if you have a laptop. Computer terminal available for a hefty fee.

The location is tough to beat, and the hotel was extremely quiet - my wife and I slept very well. It would be nice to have free wifi in the room but at least it's available in the lobby (maximum 30 minutes per day though).

Great location. Close to metro station and was able to walk to most attractions. Friendly front desk staff that spoke English. Minor drawback in that wifi can only be used in the lobby.

The free internet that they offer is a 30 minutes connection....after that you have to pay for that. Location is perfect!

The hotel saved my trip home. I left my passport on the desk in the hotel room. I called from the Barcelona airport and the hotel put it in a taxi and brought it to me in plenty of time! Great service! The hotel is in the best location in Barcelona! It is a quiet street right in the middle of the old district and a few blocks off Las Ramblas.

Ett utmärkt hotell, fantastiskt att bo så centralt men ändå väldigt tyst. Bra rum, utmärkt frukost samt mycket trevlig personal.

Une des très bonnes surprises de ce weekend, c'est l'emplacement de l'hôtel: à 150 mètres de la cathédrale, la localisation est idéale et très centrale! L'accueil a été très bon lors du check in. La chambre en elle même est classique, assez propre, rien à redire, excepté que nous avions une chambre fumeur, si bien que cela sentait un peu le tabac froid, […] pas forcément agréable pour des non fumeurs... il est dommage que la réception ne nous ait pas demandé notre préférence. Ett hotell som vi skulle bo på igen om vi kommer till Barcelona fler gånger. Jättebra läge vid La Ramblan och Placa Catalunya. Rummen helt Ok, sköna sängar, Underbar frukost men lite för dyr. Detta hotell kan absolut rekommenderas.

Ma première expérience dans cet hôtel avait été excellente: grande chambre, balcon, salle de bains confortable. Cette fois-ci, j'ai été déçue: chambre et salle de bain petites, tuyauterie bruyante, fenêtre donnant sur la verrière du magasin Décathlon, devant être masquée en permanence sous peine d'être en "vitrine", moquette douteuse dans le couloir, […] etc... Nach 2007 war ich zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel zu Gast. Die vor fünf Jahren gesammelten positiven Eindrücke gelten weiterhin uneingeschränkt. Der Hotelservice stimmt (in unserem Zimmer fehlte ein Safe, nach fünf Minuten hatten wir ein neues Zimmer), das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lecker und verschafft eine gute Grundlage für den Tag, die Lage […] ist ruhig, aber sehr zentral zu den Ramblas inmitten des gothischen Viertels gelegen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Devamı

Dejligt hotel med super beliggenhed i gå-afstand fra alt. Serviceminded betjening, fin rengøring og pænt store værelser.

Prima hotel met een perfecte ligging, 5 min lopen van Plaza Catalunia en 2 min lopen en je bent op de ramblas. Echt een aanrader.

Propre et sérieux, sans prétention. Idéalement placé pour ceux qui découvrent Barcelone pour la première fois.

L'hotel è molto carino, pulito, in una zona centralissima, lo consiglio vivamente!

Ligger veldig sentralt og greit i forhold til severdigheter osv. En kul, rolig gate og helt stille på hotellet. Men noen få gater ut er du i flokk med turistmassene. Litt vel hektisk for min del, men du har gode muligheter for shopping i nærheten. (zara, hm, pepe jeans, en fin barnebutikk, sportsbutikker, sko..og MASSE mer). Vil prøve å finne et roligere […] område om jeg skal dra igjen. F.eks ved kjøttmarkedet. Gledet meg til hotellfrokosten, god spekemat, og godt brød og frukter. Perfekt läge nära det mesta. Och på en tyst bakgata. Rummen ordinära. Ingen frukost i priset, men gå gärna till Cafe Zurich vid place Catalunya. Det som drog ner omdömet var att väskan gick sönder när den lämnades in på förvaring - och personalen låtsades som om det regnade.

Hotellet ligger midt i smørøyet,og anbefales. Hvis noe ikke var så bra: Rommet var litt lite, og dyr frokost.

NH Duc de la Victoria, Barcelona - Bekvämt, tyst, rent med ett suveränt läge. Vänlig, serviceminded personal, underbar frukost - vad mer kan man önska sig!!!

Et perfekt beliggende hotell med god standard på rommene og hyggelig betjening. Veldig godt fornøyd med oppholdet, og spesielt lydisolasjonen, hørte ingenting på kveldstid selv så nærme hovedgata i byen (Las Ramblas). Rett over gata ligger en kiosk som har åpent nesten hele døgner, og alt av fasiliteter finnes innen kort avstand. Må forøvrig advare […] om at det finnes veldig mye dårlig tapas-restauranter i området, etter et ukesopphold i Barcelona med dårlige erfaringer med lavkvalitets-tapas og dårlig service ble opplevelsen vesentlig bedre når vi dro ut av byen til Sitges. Utmärkt hotell, nära till allt, tyst och lugnt. Läget kunde inte vara bättre. Frukosten lite väl dyr, 18 euro per person. Frukostställen finns bara ett par minuters promenad från hotellet till en bråkdel av hotellets pris.

The hotel is very centrally located. A few minutes walk from the Rambla and Placa Catalunya. The water and harbour is reachable within 15-20 minutes walk either down the Rambla or old town. The hotel is nice and quite although the location is so central. The breakfast restaurant is good with a large selection. Eigentlich waren wir sehr zufrieden. Einziger Schwachpunkt, das Hotel ist eigentlich ruhig gelegen aber es befindet sich ein Sportsupermarkt direkt neben an und dort wird jeden Morgen und jeden Abend massenhaft Ware ein und ausgeladen und dies in großer Lautstärke. Wie gut das die Fenster ordentlich schließen. Ansonsten war alles sehr gut, sauber, funktional, […] freundliches Personal. Devamı

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt men alikevel skjermet for støy. Utsøkt hotell frokost. Hyggelig atmosfære. Det er ikke mye å trekke ned på, eneste må være at rommene kunne vært større. Alikevel er dette et hotell jeg kunne reist tilbake til.

Ett hotell mitt i Barca som vi varmt rekommenderar. Rent, snygg och mycket tyst (ingen störande trafik m.m.) Hjälpsam personal och en fantastisk frukost.

Hotellet ligger ypperlig til i forhold til Ramblaen, gamlebyen og masse butikker. 5 min å gå til flybussen og til sightseeingbussene. Det er et stykke til stranden, men det koster ikke mye med drosje dit (rundt 6 euro) eller man kan bruke bussene. Grei standard på rommene, som var rene, og betjeningen var hyggelig og hjelpsom. Rolig område og aircondition […] fungerte bra. Prøvde ikke frokosten, men gode "brunchplasser" i nærområdet. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit!! Devamı

Goed hotel, lekker dicht bij de Rambla, de plaça catalunya (metro, toeristenbussen, bus naar de luchthaven - minder dan 10 minuten loopafstand) en andere attracties. Hotel is goed, kamer is goed, maar airco wat minder (lastig op temperatuur in te stellen) en bed een beetje hard. Uitstekend en uitgebreid ontbijt voor mensen die van een stevig ontbijt […] houden (ongeveer 16,50 Euro). NH Duc de la Victoria i Barcelona ligg sentralt nær Catalunia-plassen. Romslige rom, god reingjering og godt frukosttilbod.
