Aziyade Hotel - İstanbul

The hotel is near old town in Istanbul.You can see around most of the famous sight-seeing on foot . Beautiful sea-sight and excellent breakfast was also recommended.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was nice - the restaurant at the topfloor was very good - I will at any time recomend this hotel - and stay again.

Nice place, actually in a very local district - means you'll find genuine atmosphere around the hotel. Near of the main sights and if you need to travel further the tram T1 is within a walkinh distance too.

Very good location, walking distance to most of sights, lot of resturants and shops. Reception staff very helpfull and very good service my thanks to Mr. M Kaya+F Gokmen. Apart from the penthouse Resturant with good view of sea+ city Lobby was also good. other Accommodation are very poor especilly so called standard room, which are very small and substandrad.Had […] to change to better room at extra cost.The other surpise was to use jaqusi or sona 10 euro entrance fee every time. Safety: I felt safe in this pad. Food: Excellent complimentary breakfast, wide choices to make. Yeah, the wonderful view of the sea while having breakfast from the Rooftop is awesome. Neatness: The room was neat but small. No seat to lounge in the room. The staff were warm overall. TV experience: Too many Turkish channels. We stayed at Aziyade for a week during March break 2012. The decor was fantastically Ottoman, with beautiful Turkish fabrics and rugs styled in a traditional way. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but ordered a few drink at the bar. Drinks were reasonably priced and cocktails were mixed strong. Room attendants delivered fresh Turkish delight candies […] each day around supper time, and complementary rosehip/spice tea and lemonade were available all day. The staff was friendly and responsive. The amenities left a bit to be desired. The gym consists of a very small area (perhaps 9'X9'?) with one treadmill and a couple of archaic looking machines, and a few free weights. Of course, we didn't book because of the gym - we were enticed by the in-house Turkish bath, hot tub, and sauna. It wasn't clear when I booked that there's actually a 10 euro charge to use anything in the amenities facility, including the sauna. I can certainly understand why they charge for a Turkish bath, as it's a special service, but it seems silly to charge an entry fee to use the other facilities. I also wasn't impressed by the size of the amenity room; it felt like maybe 4-5 people could use it at one given time. The location of the hotel is great if you're interested in being within walking distance of all the major Old City sights - the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Grand Bazaar, etc. It is also about a 3 minute walk to the tram line, which gets you anywhere in the city worth seeing (about an hour away by transit to the aeroport, which is only one transfer from metro to subway line). There are lots of options for food and shopping. However, if you're looking to be around modern Istanbul, it's a ferry ride away north or about 20 minute tram ride further west. The ferry is about a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel (or a few tram stops). The room was small but still comfortable. Nice location. All the great attractions are near, only 10-15 minutes walk. Morning staff at reception was very helpful. But evening staffs were curt . Breakfast was great.

The hotel is centrally located and the staff very helpful. However the walls are paper thin and voices come across. Also there was a strong smell of smoke coming through the vents from other rooms which made it extremely uncomfortable. They should have a non-smoking floor or specific rooms.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It is located in the old city,not far from all touristic places.The breakfast was very good as well as the service.

we checked to this Hotel on the 1/5/2012 and we where given a room with cigarette order that was very noticeable. and the bathroom was very Deity and has scam around the the tub (I toke some photo of the room). I ask the front disk to find me anther room and I was told that they only one. than I said I am going to check out and one room magically become […] available. we check it out the new room and it was in worth shape so we had to stay in the first room. durane the night the wind blow the window out its frame I called the front disk and it was none to pick up the phone, I had get up and try to fix it to finish that night from hell, next morning we get up and check out that hotel and went to anther hotel in the area Devamı

Near to all the best tourist sights in Istanbul, Hotel Aziyade has small, but comfortable and clean rooms. Hotel facilities are good, the restaurant meals and breakfast very good, and the hamam was wonderful.

Hotel was in excellent position in the old town close to the Bazaar and Blue Mosque. It had great views of the sea and town from the room terrace breakfast room. Rooms were good and well maintained whilst hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Not sure how it could have been better for the price.

I recommend this hotel because of its close proximity to all major sites and direct tram link to the airport and other areas. The breakfast was a feast. The room was clean and very warm in winter. There was hot water at all times. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The price is also very reasonable.

I have no major complaints about this hotel. Our room was a bit small, but tolerable. Complimentary breakfast buffet was great. 10 min walk (although on narrow streets - somewhat uphill) from main SultanAhmet attractions - Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia. Wifi speeds in room sufficient for email and basic web browsing but not skype. Overall a decent hotel.

The locationof the hotel was good. The staff mwmber were very helpful.Soeak good English; Location was appropriate for the sight seein. Breakfast was good and planty. Excellen hetel for the price. We would stay againt

Nice little hotel, superb location!!

Great hotel with comfortable rooms and the rooftop restaurant for breakfast was lovely. They also have a great dinner buffet there. The bar on the ground floor was lovely with snacks provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was a steep walk uphill to the main sights of the Blue Mosque etc which was the only downside if you were a bit unfit.

Had a nice and comfi stay. Staff is hospitable and hotel location is rather good. The best thing was the view in the morning breakfast.

We stayed there 3 nights, room was ok nothing spectacular, hotel restaurant was good, not overpriced. Beautiful view of the sea, staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was ok, if you want to be in the mix of all the tourist locations, go further into the city; hotel was off beaten path but still in walking distance of main street. The location of the hotel is excellent. Easy to reach by metro and tram from the airport, and its a good base to explore the old city. Famous locations like the bazaar, blue mosk, aya sofia and topkapi palace are easily reachable by foot and the tram stop is near as well, bringing you to Taksim square without much trouble. The hotel itself had all […] you need for a sightseeing trip. The room was proper and clean and so was the bathroom. The included breakfast on the top floor had a decent number of basic choices, and a nice view of the see of Marmara. The staff was friendly, and we were able to check in early in to our room (probably because we were there out of season) All in all we enjoyed our stay here, and can recommend it for people who want a hotel as a good base for exploring the city. I stayed in Aziyade Hotel for three nights last week. The best thing about the hotel is the location - it is within walking distance of all the major sights of Istanbul. The breakfast buffet is excellent too and the dining room provides a beautiful view of the sea. The staff is courteous and helpful. The amenities need some improvement though - addition […] of small items such as a box of tissues, body lotion and an iron in the rooms would make a difference in the comfort level. The neighborhood is not posh (but it is safe) and if you are looking for luxury, don't go. But the location beats everything. Consider not having to take a taxi anywhere! The hotel is located a bit off the main drag, so it's close to everything indeed, but you have to go down this slope to get to it, and going back up the slope on foot every morning can be a bit annoying if you want to pop in and out of the hotel. However, the rooms were really nice. We got turkish delight every morning, and the bathroom had the towels […] and soap collection renewed every morning. The breakfast was pretty good, especially the little breads that are delicious. And the view from the restaurant is gorgeous. Also, there is free hot spicy red tea and cold lemonade in the lobby as well as some very beautiful couches and armchairs to relax in. The second floor has an ottoman lounge (ottoman style room) with a very relaxing atmosphere, and there's also more couches and internet. The wireless was pretty fast usually (was able to Skype on it), but sometimes it didn't work at all - no one seemed to know why. Also, the hamam (Turkish bath) was a bit disappointing. There was indeed a bath, but it is just a room in the Turkish bath style and it is filled with steam, but there is no service and it is not very big. Also, very close to the hotel, at Cemberlitas station, there's a nice historical hamam with good service that is worth checking out. Entrance was more expensive than the hotel's one, but I think the price difference is worth it. Devamı

Best things about this hotel were yummy free apple tea on arrival, the location (10 mins from grand bazar and blue mosque/topkapi/ayasofya) and very helpful staff (we only stayed there 2 days before moving onto Bursa, but on the way back we had 5 hours to kill in Istanbul before our flight and didn't know what to do with all our luggage - I decided […] to ask the hotel if they would look after it for us, for a fee - but they were happy to do so without charge and they arranged a taxi for us at a very decent price). Bad things were small room size (but not really an issue for us) small TV in room (again not an issue but may be for some if you're staying there longer) and no kettle in the room to make tea (but 24 hour room service was available and tea was reasonably priced. Excellent location puts you in walking distance to the major attractions. A little difficult to find initially. The fron desk daytime manager was helpful and courteous. Evening shift, not so helpful. Good value for the money.

Aziyade Hotel is a comfortable hotel and is of great value for money. However, please be mindful that it is definitely not a 4 star hotel. It is probably of 2-1/2 to 3 star rating. My single room is very small but then I get what I pay for. It is a good hotel for those that do not want to spend a lot on hotels.

Of all the times and hotels I have stayed in in Istanbul this is by far the best experience I have had. Staff are so friendly and greet you with a smile. Hotel amenities are excellent, drinks on arrival are a very nice touch on a hot sunny day.. The only fault I could see is that the rooms are a little bit small, and if you could move it up the hill […] it would be 110% perfect. Service of Hotel was good. Hotel allowed late checkout as my flite was in the evening. Hotel is relatively closely located to the transit system, with connection to the airport (with a change of the transit system at station Zeytinburnu). Be aware that hotel is located in the old town. Some rooms are exposed to an interior light well. On one side rooms […] are facing a narrow alley. On the other side there is a shoe factory working 24/7 creating hammering noise and obnoxious smell. The hotel is in the Sultanmahmet district of the city and so is not too far from Istanbul's main attractions, such as the Haijia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, but the hotel was on a small street that was hard to find. Rooms were nice and they have a nice Turkish bath.

We were very pleased with the Aziyade. The location is perfect to walk to the main attractions. The rooms are modern and clean. They offer a fantastic buffet breakfast in the top floor with magnificent views. This was another pleasant surprise as we did not know is was included in the price of our room. Very good WIFI also free of charge.

Air Conditioner didn't work and no Jacuzzy although the breakfast and view was great...SPA personal weren't nice at all but the rest were...

Der Service der Reception war zu Beginn mangelhaft. Da das Hotel überbucht war, wollten sie uns eine Nacht ausquartieren gegen ein Abendessen. Wir erhielten letztendlich doch ein Zimmer, dieses war auf einen schmalen Innenbereich gerichtet und verhältnismässig dunkel, dafür war es schön ruhig und man schlief ausgezeichnet. Ein Plus ist der Frühstücksraum […] mit Dachterrasse und hervorragendem Blick über den Bosporus. Besonders negativ fiel uns zwei Sachen auf: der Spa-Bereich, wo wir eine Massage buchen wollten roch schimmlig und weckte deshalb Zweifel an der Sauberkeit. Auch erschien die Masseurin unmotiviert. Wir sagten die Massage daraufhin wieder ab. Zum zweiten baten wir das Hotel, uns ein Taxi für den Flughafen zu organisieren. Sie taten das, jedoch kam ein Taxi ohne Taxometer, weshalb wir wieder um den Preis feilschen mussten. M.E. müsste da das Hotel eindeutig fragen! Fazit: trotz der Kritikpunkte ist das Hotel ok und obwohl m.E. das Personal nicht gerade vor Freundlichkeit strotzte, waren die Leistungen solide, das Frühstück achtbar und die Lage gut. Devamı

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut, in unmittelbarer Nähe der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ebenfalls gibt es eine wunderschöne Dachterrasse, auf der man bei schönem Wetter frühstücken kann.

Hotelli oli erittäin hyvä: sijainti sopivasti keskellä kaupunkia, henkilökunta palvelualtista (suosittelivat ja varasivat mielellään iltaravintoloita, joissa vietimme onnistuneita ruokahetkiä), aamiainen maittava, iltaruokakin hotellissa oli paikallisen makuista ja hyvää, hotellin suomalainen ja turkkilainen sauna pistäytymisen arvoisia, lobby kahdessa […] kerroksessa joka mahdollisti seurueen korttipelit myöhään yöhön, huoneet yllättävän pieniä jota kompensoi oikea kylpyamme. Bra hotell i forhold til prisen. Bra beliggenhet i forhold til de fleste attraksjoner i Sultanahmet (blå moske, hagia sofia, grand bazaar etc.). Resepsjonistene var ikke spesielt gode i engelsk og det var dermed vanskelig å forklare problemer og få hjelp til vanlige turistspørsmål etc. Men de var hjelpsomme hvis de skjønte det man spurte om.

Hotel discreto, posizione ottima, colazione in terrazza coperta o aperta con vista città....incantevole. Lo consiglio.

Estuvimos muy cómodos en el hotel.Nos recibieron muy bien, pero se excedieron con el precio del taxi que nos recogió en el aeropuerto. Al retirarnos tomamos uno por nuestra cuenta y gastamos la mitad!!. Los espacios comunes están muy bien mantenidos y confortables, con té y jugo libre para quien se hospeda. Un muy buen baño, amplio, mucho caudal de […] agua caliente y buena ropa de cama. Se destacaron los desayunos abundantes y en el último piso con una vista al Mármara, hermosa. El wi fi funcionó pero con mucha dificultad. Queremos aclarar que sobre el frigobar cada día dejaban una botella de litro y medio de agua mineral, el último día, la última botella tenía un cartel que decía frigobar. Habría que haberlo aclarado de entrada, ¡esta agua se cobra! Está muy bien ubicado en la zona histórica pero los alrededores están feitos!!!! Todos detalles volveríamos, estuvimos muy cómodos y el precio muy razonable. Devamı

Все было великолепно. Пусть небольшой, но чистый и уютный номер, хорошее обслуживание и приветливый персонал. Единственный недостаток - вид из окна на окна соседнего здания, который, впрочем, несущественен для людей приехавших посмотреть на достопримечательности. Расположен отель очень удобно - в старой части города, в шаговой доступности Айя Софии, […] Большого Базара и Голубой Мечети. Подытоживая - рекомендую. P.S.
