THE HERRINGTON INN AND SPA - Geneva

The Herrington Inn is lovely. Good location to restaurants, shopping, and walking paths along Fox River. Rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Great service, friendly staff, with lots of special touches. The spa services were also very good. Our fireplace was not working; 2 staff members came by to fix it, and gave it a […] good try, but were unable to make it work. Otherwise, all of our expectations were met or exceeded. I arrived late on a Wednesday to be greeted by a sweet lady who informed me she had changed my room to one with a balcony and facing the river - nice. When I asked about room service, she said they were closed but then called over someone else who offered a cheese platter or club sandwich. I chose the sandwich, which they delivered to my room within […] 10 minutes. I settled into the robe and slippers that were waiting, turned on the fireplace, and luxuriated. They'd also left a carafe of milk in a bucket of ice and a fresh made chocolate chip cookie, which tasted great after the whirpool bath. Of course, none of this would be anything near as good if things weren't clean, modern, and again, clean. The room was huge, with high ceilings. The next evening I had a 90 minute massage at the spa. I was in the Geneva - St. Charles area for business, but suddenly I found myself in the nicest hotel for the money that I've experienced. It is nice enough to be a destination all by itself - and by the look of the antique shops and fine restaurants in the area, it will be a fun vacation to Geneva next time. Devamı

We have never been to Geneva and we absolutely loved the hotel. It is such a romantic place. The only disappointment was how expensive the massages were. Aside from that, we love the idea of staying there every year to celebrate our anniversary.

AMAZING. It's like you are in hotel in Europe. It's quaint and rustic and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were the most comfortable beds ever. It's walking distance to shopping and dining. Awesome place and I wish I had stayed there another day instead of just a place to crash.

This was a really nice place. We loved the room, the staff, the food, and the two weddings we watched from our court yard sitting area! Although the beds were not comfortable and the TV wasn't able to be easily viewed, we really enjoyed our stay.

Our first visit to The Herrington was great, except for the lumpiness of the mattress. The food and room were fabulous!!! We could not sleep all night and did not even stay for breakfast because we were both so tired from lack of sleep due to this horrible mattress. I have to say the food--(great elk!!!) and service were fabulous!!! We would for sure […] go back for the food, but not for an overnight stay. Devamı

An outstanding venue for our Christmas festivities...especially having French doors opening onto the river accompanied by a blazing fire and a cozy canopy bed. What dreams are made of!

My husband and I spent our anniversary here. The room was gorgeous, and had a wonderful whirlpool tub and fireplace. We enjoyed our fresh cookies and milk in the tub, after enjoying the beautiful hotel grounds. Surrounding neighborhood has plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars to keep one busy!
