Central Hotel - Stockholm

The Central Hotel in Stockholm is in a very good location, close to Central Station and the City Centre. It is also good value for money.

The shower drain smelled very strongly of sewage and the tile grout was covered in mildew and mold. I went out and bought some bleach and mildew remover and cleaned the shower myself. The response from the front desk was indifferent and no one from the hotel management contacted us about it,

Small but convenient for my pupoue. Breakfast ok but the scrambled egg was tasteless. Nevertheless everything else ok.

This is a great hotel- close to everything. One problem was that the map didn't clearly show the surrounding streets so that we knew which way to go from the railway station. We got lost but were really very close to were we needed to be. A fridge would have been good. Tea and coffee were always available. It is very quiet and definitely would recommend […] to anyone. I have stayed here before and this stay was like the rest, FABULOUS in every way. I had a single room with a window to the back courtyard, the recycling bins are occasionally picked up at 1 am, but the rest of the city noise is nonexistant. The room itself is very comfortable, the bathroom shower has a handheld and a regular shower head to bathe with. […] The breakfast is wonderful, a real Smorgasboard of food, and the coffee is great! The staff is fantastic and always went above and beyond in finding answers to any of my questions. This hotel is conveniently located close to the central train station although the entrance is very low key and difficult to find. the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was courteous, professional and helpful. I can recommend this hotel without reservation.

Good clean hotel, very well located, good standard for 3 star hotel. Good choices for breakfast and pleasant staff, however the rooms are very small with limited cupboard space and have to keep curtains closed for privacy.

Excellently located by the central train station, though the area itself is somewhat lacking in character and seemed rather desolate at night. Still, it's very conveniently located to the Stroget, Gamala Stan, and City Hall and everywhere else I wanted to visit. It's also rather close by to the grocery store on the Stroget which was handy for water […] and snacks. In terms of amenities -- The breakfast was good with both warm and cold offerings and were constantly restocked. The wifi connection was strong and steady. I had my own computer but there was public pc in the lobby by the reception for guests to use. There was also afternoon coffee/tea and biscuits, which were well-appreciated after and before wandering the streets during the frigid days of March. Devamı

This hotel is really close to the train staion from the airport, which was great when walking with luggage in the snow. I had no trouble finding the hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful in finding the easiest way to get to the places we wanted to visit. They also looked up some information on the front desk computer to assist us. The hotel was […] walking distance to most attractions or easy city transportation. We were also very close to the main pedestrian only walking areas. The hotel itself was so quaint. The rooms were charming and the breakfast was of a good selection. They had both European and American favorites. We were very early for check-in but a convient and safe place next to the front desk was available to leave our luggage. I very much enjoyed my stay and would highly reccomend it. had a wonderful time. The hotel is indeed very comfortabel, clean, hospitable and beautifully located near all public transport. The breakfast is good. I do feel it is about 30% overpriced .

You couldn't ask for a better location in central Stockholm. The hotel has a cool style, and even the courtyard view was pretty. The room was comfortable, and their toiletries were nicer than other hotels in the area (I've stayed in Stockholm quite a bit). Only used hotel as overnight stay but was entirely satisfied with everything. Desk staff were particularly helpful. Breakfast very nice and room very good. So close to old city and other sights. Would definitely stay again

I have been to Stockholm many time and have stayed at many hotels and i really liked Central. My only complaint was 38 vasagatan is a office building, hotel is 2 doors down. had a few moments of total frustration, until i noticed hotel 2 doors down. Excellent location.

Ett lagom stort hotell med bra läge Lugnt och skönt fast det ligger centralt

Goed hotel, door korting voor een goede prijs, tikkeltje lawaaierig ondanks ligging kamer aan binnenplaats (door verkeers-/container-lawaai).

Hôtel proche de la gare . Accueil chaleureux et excellent petit déjeuner buffet. Chambre confortable, salle de bain propre mais vieillissante...

Lungnt hotel. Centralt och bra. Fick rum mot gården vilket var tyst och skönt. Fräsch frukost, allt vad man kan önska sig. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Utmärkt läge om man som jag reste med tåg, tar max fem minuter att promenera till hotellet från centralstationen. Hotellet kändes fräscht, frukostbuffén var inte jättestor, men det som serverades var mycket gott. Stort plus för det förmånliga priset och det utmärkta läget. Kommer garanterat att återkomma till detta hotell!

Enkelt och bra hotel mitt i city med ett bra frukost utbud, dock lite slitet och små enkel rum men absolut värt priset.

Helt ok hotell som övernattnings ställe över en helg. Varken topp standard eller dåligt. Sköna sängar men små rum utan någon design utöver det vanliga. Toaletten okej men det gick inte låsa toadörren. Frukosten var liten, ganska litet utbud i liten frukost lokal men det fanns ändå det man behövde, man gick ju inte därifrån hungrig. Hade önskat större […] sortiment och lite varmare lokal. Lounge var mkt liten och inbjöd inte till någon trevlig kväll i hotellbaren. Kommer att rekommendera detta hotell som weekend-boende men inte under någon längre vistelse i Sthml än så. Devamı

Bra priser och fantastiskt centralt läge. Något slitet men i utmärkt skick. Mkt trevlig reception med bra service. Hotellrummen inte så stora men välplanerade. Rent och snyggt och en bra frukost.

Trivsamt hotell med mkt trevlig frukostmatsal och buffe´.

Das Frühstück war nicht besonders gut organisiert, und es gab wenig Plätze.

Bättre läge är svårt att hitta. Låg över efter en konsert, perfekt läge till stationen. Rekomenderas!!

Greit og billig hotell. Rent og stille. Grei frokost. Ikke luksus, men helt fint for et par netter. Og så deilig med gangavstand til Arlanda Express.

Lett å finne fra Centralstasjonen. Gangavstand til kunstmuseene og Gamla Stan. Enkelt og greit hotellrom. Savnet bare en vannkoker med te/kaffe. Kunne hente kaffe nede i resepsjonen. God frokostbuffet

Bodde i enkelrum, vilket var väldigt litet men välplanerat. Enda som jag saknade var garderob. Duschen bra och snitisigt planerad i "rundel" som skär in i rummet elegant. Positivt är att alla 93 rummen vetter mot innergård = TYST och skönt! Negativt om rummet är att det kändes väldigt litet och tillsammans med de vågräta spröjsen i fönstren gav intrycket […] av att få en cell på Kumla. Men jag kunde låsa upp och gå ut när jag ville! Frukosten var mycket bra, fräscht och med allt man kan önska. Totalt sett ett hotell att rekommendera för den som vill bo centralt och MYCKET PRISVÄRT! Devamı
