Comfort Suites College Drive - Baton Rouge

Excellent room. My only complaint is that there was no alarm clock in the room.

Stayed here for my sister's wedding - was pleased with the quietness within the hotel. Breakfast was great with convenient hours (6-10 am)! Hotel is not the newest looking building or super updated, but the beds were very comfortable, the rooms were large, and the shower had plenty of hot water. Also, it is located at the back of a U-shaped road, so […] there are two roads (both with stop lights) to take to it which is good considering how crazy traffic can be on College Drive...anybody who has ever lived in Baton Rouge knows about this. Convienient to downtown Baton Rouge. Clean, quiet, freindly and attentive staff. Would highly recommend for a short or extended stay.

Toilet seat did not fit on toilet, air conditioner did not cool the room well and coffee pot in room did not work. Located in a good area though.

We stayed here on an overnight visit. The rooms were a little shabby and the beds were small. It would have been nice to have a pull-out bed in the room. The kitchen area in room was good, but we did not need to utilize it. The price was good, but it was not the best hotel experience that we have had.

The hotel was very old and wasn't clean at all. I was even scared to touch the telephone because it was was real dirty. The bathroom was horrible. I didn't even shower because the toilet and tub looked yellowish when it was suppose to be white. Looked like the toilet and tub been smoking cigarettes. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone!

The girl at front desk was Awesome very helpful and thorough...we had a late check in because of the LSU game so when we arrived we asked for more towels..they knew originally with the reservations we had 4 adults but they only left 2 towels, we were told they had no more towels available also left one little small bar of soap Really???? the Hotel needs […] major refurbishing also the sofa in room had a dirty sock sticking out of side so needless to say the room was not checked & cleaned properly, who wants to pick up someone elses dirty sock....very disappointed.....won't stay there again or recommend to anyone else..... All personel were extreamly courteous. Checkin was made in advance of arrivial. Both rooms were extreamly clean and well maintained, one room the display of the microwave did not work and was taken care of upon notfication to the front desk.

The people were extemely friendly...the hotel just needs some updating and tlc. it was just ok.

Stayed here just so I wouldn't have to be home for my birthday. The service was great. I checked in late and my reservations got put in as a no show but the lady at the front counter helped me re-reserve and that was great. The thing I hate most ab hotels is how small the rooms are but this room was great for me and my two friends. Great location! All […] my fav eateries were just minutes away! I plan on staying again. The hotel served it's purpose well. It was a simple, middle of the road hotel that was warm, dry, and clean. The price was reasonable and the service was average--except the breakfast lady, she was incredibly nice! My biggest complaint was the my wife perfume was stolen--the only thing left of value in the room when we left the hotel for the day. We […] check and cross check the room, thinking that we might have misplaced the item in the room. I was hoping that we had. But we didn't and therefore the item was stolen. The manage has been difficult to get ahold of. With that said, the hotel is just fine for the purpose of finding a clean place to stay the night. We were in town for Mardi Gras week/weekend and to visit friends in Baton Rouge. The hotel was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the customer service was great.

Hotel common areas were pleasant. The room itself was less than I expected. Not to meniton, we had no wash clothes nor was there shampoo in the room. Neither did the front desk have any. Very frustrating after a long day. Breakfast left alot to be desired also. Overall, not very satisfied.

We have stayed at this hotel many times thru the years and have always enjoyed it. But now it badly needs a facelift. Convenient to many places.

Pretty standard motel stay for me when I was traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday. My partner picked out this place because it seemed to be the best rated in Baton Rouge. The location is pretty convenient off I-10 and there are a lot of restaurants nearby, including a strip club, if that's what you're into. Check-in was easy and quick late at night. […] Our room smelled a bit like cigarettes, but maybe that's from pre-smoking ban days because the establishment is currently smoke-free. It certainly holds up to the "Suites" in the name - the space was a large, open-floor plan style with the king, couch, coffee table, and desk all in one large room. The sink was set off-center of a long countertop, creating a lot of space for toiletries. The toilet and bath were in a separate room and clean with good water pressure. The bed was firm, but I slept solidly after a long day of work and driving. However, my partner had trouble sleeping - apparently some of the other guests got home late and talked loudly in the halls and he could hear when the strip club was closing. I gave an extra star for a great continental breakfast. They offer the usual pastries/bagels, dry cereal, fruit, individual milks, yogurts, and juices, but they also had scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. I would've poured a Belgian waffle, but the appliance sat empty with no batter in sight. Overall, good place to stop in for the night. Devamı

my only complaint is that our room was on the first floor right across from maids staging area so at 7:30 on Sunday morning they are knocking around and noisy- then checked to see if we were ready for room cleaning

The location was very good. Right off the interstate and close to LSU, downtown, etc. The front desk agent was very nice. The room was clean and everything functioned as it should... BUT the A/C system is waaaaay too cold. It does not get warmer, cannot control the temperature only the amount of air flow (high, low). Therefore we had to put a t-shirt […] over the vent and hold it with a shoe. That way, the cold air would get "held back" by the t-shirt. It did the trick. Otherwise, it covered all the "c's": Clean, comfortable and cheap. Devamı

We were pleased to find real customer service here! We booked online but the front desk found us a room closer to the elevator as my spouse is handicapped. A real breakfast of eggs, sausage, waffles, and much, much more. To be completely honest, the only drawback was a musty smell in our room. Still, we did stay two nights.

We really had a nice quaint time. The room was very spacious and had more than we expected in it. There was a separate sink for the coffee making apart from the vanity area. Breakfast provided a decent selection. We will definitely stay here again!

Great staff, clean room i would stay again

It was really close to LSU, the room was not really clean, it had plenty of towels, though. But there wasn't any attention to detail ie: strained of hair left in bath tub, on the bed, TP holder was falling off the wall. The continental breakfast wasn't all that great either. The french toast tasted pasty, the eggs were rubbery, and all the cereals were […] the sugary kind-no cheerios. I guess you do really get what you paid for . . . Devamı

Driving cross country from California, this was a nice hotel to stay out. I only wish they had pay-per view. :-)

Our bathroom floor was dirty and the sheets were in bad shape with small rips. I dont think the room was cleaned the entire time we were there. They just put new towels in the room.

It was an awesome hotel. The smell of cleanliness as soon as you walked thru doors. Nice big room w/kitchenette. Would highly recommend!!! Nice safe location too

Everything was a good as one can expect except the room was stuffy. With inability to open windows and no 'air returns' stale air is expected. Everything else was very good.

I was very happy with this hotel. I had to travel to Baton Rouge for a convention and I didn't want to use the convention's hotel (it was way too expensive!). My room was clean and the staff at the front was very nice. The man at the counter was nice enough to print out directions for me so I wouldn't get lost! When I settled into the room I noticed […] my bed was missing pillows and I asked the man at the front he chuckled and apologized before going to hunt down some pillows for me and bringing them to my room personally. (I didn't mind the pillows not being there, it was an honest mistake). Overall I really liked this hotel stay and would recommend it to anyone! I hope this helped! Devamı

This hotel is a dump!! Our room smelled and was dirty. The staff was nice, but I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.

We reserverd a room for a short family vacation, not having stayed in this hotel before. The room was nice, clean and very well kept, the grounds were attractive and the management was very helpful. I would reccomend this hotel to others.

My most recent stay in BR at the Comfort Suites was very good. I had all the amenities mentioned in my reservation, which helped since we were bringing food to keep us during our stay. But we also had convenient locations near the hotel for food, coffee, and even a pharmacy. The overall stay was fantastic and the front desk always supplied us with necessary […] items when we called to inquire. I would definitely stay there again. Devamı

Hotel was clean, pleasant employees. Satisfied with my stay.

Unusually high rate for football weekend compatred to average daily rate.

Although a decent location, College and Bennington is a notoriously busy intersection .

The hotel is located in the part of Baton Rouge that is close to pretty much everything: Tiger Stadium, Restaurants, Bars, and Banks. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the beds were actually comfortable in comparison to other hotels I have stayed at. Would stay here again if in the area!

I've stayed at many Comfort Suites around the US and this one was by far the worst. Most are identical in quality but this one fell far short of it. Surprised it's named a Comfort Suites. The rooms are not updated, have stained carpet, cheap furniture and just feels like a cheap hotel.
