HOTEL LE COMPOSTELLE LE MARAIS - Paris

This hotel is located in a lively part of Paris, just a walking distance from transport facilities, resturants, bars and tourist areas. It is reasonably priced, but for that price do not expect much, it is as basic as they come. Rooms need modernisation. Breakfast is a bit expensive but it is nice and served in a lovely room. You have to pay for Wifi. […] My only negative is the receptionist on the last night of our stay were very unhelpful and had poor customer service. Be careful if there try to force you to get a taxi to the airport by using scary tactics like there is a transport strike which suddenly changes to an electrical fault on the railway line!!! Devamı

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, clean room very well maintained. Will definitely stay again. Room very comfortable, near metro stations, restaurants.

good location, very small room, not as expected from previous written reviews. shower and toilets so small you have to plan your moves moving in and out- really uncomfortable! the staff was helpful and nice. price rather high for such accommodation.

I was very pleased with the hotel and especially the location. Many great places to eat near by easy access to subway and buses and shopping. I would stay there again if I visit Paris.

I read other reviews explaining this wasn't an especially luxurious hotel, but I was still surprised but how run down it was. It didn't seem dirty, just old and in need of renovation. The curtains and carpet were stained. We had a room with a shower (rather than a bath) and it was tiny and cramped and impossible to even shower in without getting water […] everywhere. For the money this was a good place. You are close (15 minute walk) to almost everything of interest. I would definitely go in the off season like I did, otherwise the noise will be a sleep impediment. There was one desk clerk that was really great with the rest that could have cared less about you. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room very clean but shabby and needs to be updated. They charge 10 euro for the internet password and it didn't work and there was no refund. You get what you pay for. The price is cheap, so please don't expect any luxury's at all. However the location is second to none. If you don't mind staying in a hotel that is a little run down, and looking very 1970's/80's, the location really makes this hotel a very cheap option for those on a tight budget. Just don't go if it's for a special occasion. […] This is definitely not the hotel for any honeymooners! However, in the room you will find: a hairdryer, hotel toiletries, clean towels, clean sheets, and a flat screen TV that has no English speaking channels. The staff speak very little English (other than one lady), but of course why should they, you're in France! A phrase book will definitely be handy. Devamı

L'hôtel nous convient fort bien pour nos courtes escapades à Paris

hotel tees bien situe en plein marais et proche de tout les sites importants seul bemol des cheveux dans la bagnoire!!!!!

Fantastisk beliggenhed midt i Marais. Værelset på femte etage havde en mindre altan med udsigt over Paris' tage. Lille værelse men rent og pænt. Der er dog noget traffikstøj i weekenden, men det er jo betingelserne, når man bor i hjertet af Paris. Til prisen intet mindre end fremragende.

Petit hôtel agréable au rapport qualité-prix satisfaisant. Très bien situé et silencieux, il permet de séjourner dans le Marais à un prix correct. Les chambres petites sont propres et confortables. L'accueil pourrait être amélioré

Waardeloze kamer op de 1 e verdieping met laag plafond. Je denkt steeds te moeten bukken met 1.80 en 1.90 lengte. Dit moet letterlijk in de douche: hier kunnen we niet rechtop staan! Ook de douche spuit alleen recht omhoog. De wastafel is zo klein, dat de föhn die er hangt, als extra service, het gezicht aan de spiegel geheel onttrekt. Heel veel lawaai […] van de straat gedurende de gehele nacht en om 0600 uur van de veegwagens. Waarschijnlijk aan de achterkant, uitkijkend op de binnenplaats rustiger kamers. Hotel carino in un quartiere "vivo" di Parigi, per chi non ha grosse pretese può andar bene perchè oltre ad essere ben posizionato è anche molto vicino alla metro, per cui gli spostamenti verso ogni zona di Parigi sono facili e veloci. A parte le dimensioni della stanza (minuscola, ma accogliente) e la "cortesia" della receptionist di turno nel pomeriggio, […] consiglio questo albergo (a meno che non si vada in piena estate - non c'è l'impianto di climatizzazione...) Goede locatie Slecht qua isolatie. Geen aardig receptiepersoneel. Niet behulpzaam. Kamer zeer krap en aan de straatkant slecht geisoleerd.

Meget fint lille hotel ligger perfekt - vil dog ikke tage morgen mad næste gang - det er meget hyggeliger at tage den på en cafe i nærheden. Men ellers meget fint

Lille hotel lige i Marais området. God service og OK værelser - ikke så store.

Hyggeligt lille hotel, der har de mest basale nødvendigheder. Hotellets beliggenhed er klart hotellets force, meget centralt i det skønne Marais. Eneste ulempe ved dette er, at der er en del larm fra gaden, men det blev hurtigt klaret med et par ørepropper :-)

Hotellet ligger i et meget hyggeligt kvarter, og der var så lovet på værelset: hyggeligt og de basale nødvendigheder.

L' hotel è confortevole e il personale molto gentile e informale; da consigliare.

Wir hatten für 5 Nächte gebucht, mussten aus persönlichen Gründen nach der 1 Nacht den Urlaub abbrechen. Die Rückerstattung für 3 Nächte lief super schnell ab. Die Lage und der Preis sind für Paris sehr günstig! Im Bad fehlte ein Duschvorhang, was ein sehr grosser Nachteil ist. Das Zimmer war einfach aber sauber.

Beatifull but little bit out-dated hotel in a lovely living neighbourhood. The rooms are relatively spacy for Paris-centre, the bathroom is smal (it was not possible to open the door completely, but even for me enough space to enter). A room with streetview gives you a nice overview by day and evening, when the bars etc close at 2 am there is a lot […] of noise on the street. Staff is friendly. Hotellet ligger rigtig godt, men der er en del larm mod gaden - området er ganske festligt og der bør forventes en del nattelarm. Vinduerne er ikke særlig godt isoleret, så hvis man er sart skal man nok bede om et værelse mod gården. I området er der fyldt med cafeer, konditorier, barer og klubber - der mangler ikke noget

Á chegada reparamos que o hotel era muito pequeno parecia mais uma pensão, mas era asseado e os quartos tambem eram limpos e com todas as comodidades para quem quer passar um fim de semana prolongado. A casa de banho não tinha cortina o que causava uma inundação cada vez que se tomava banho e o pequeno almoço era um pouco aquem das expectativas pois […] nem fiambre e queijo tinha. Devamı
