It is easy to get to the hotel, subway station Jianguomen is only few hundred meters away. It is not easy to find a breakfast cafe in the area. We ended up in a KFC beyond the shopping center opposite the road. We booked a day tour to the Great Wall (should be renamed Staircase), which passed a Jade factory, silk factory, and a tea house on the way. […] Esp the 2 last ones with immense sales pressure. It's close to all must see sights: Tian An Men Square, Forbidden City.... walk about 8 minutes it's the subway station, there are few buses stops right in the front of the hotel. Over priced compared to other hotels in China. Very crowded, full of coach parties. Difficult to even get a seat at breakfast and often have to share a table. Gym is nice and location good. Service not great, staff come across as impersonal and rushed.

Its a big hotel, its well located, but it looks like its over used. i mean some furniture textiles need changing. and i didnt try the food there but their cafe isnt impressive. i mean for a 1 night stay it was good. i didnt have any issues, but i wouldnt like to be there for more that maybe 2 nights.

I have stayed at this hotel on four occasions over the last four years and, each time, I thought that it had declined a little. The fabric of the hotel is tired and needs rennovation. Also, judging from the yawns of the staff at breakfast, the staff seemed tired as well! I am not an extremist.. NEGATIVE: They put $500 on my card for auth at checkin when I already paid for the room. No room available at 12pm local time, 1hour wait for a king size bedroom, nonsmoking. I took a nonsmoking 2 twin size deb to avoid waiting. The smoke is worst in this room than some of the $45/night in las vegas hotel. Carpet is DIRTY. Water […] has an odor-Warn by hotel not drinkable. Curtain is old and smoky. Bathtub is chipped and has some yellow stains on the wall. No overhead lighting, just old dingy lamps. I suspect hotel slippers are washed and redistributed. Thai food restaurant in hotel is a scam, infact any food made in china is simply another chinese dish, by no mean in anyway similar to U.S. Chinese take out, dont make the expensive mistake by eating there. Being so starving from santitation issue and seasoning, etc,, hotel buffet SUCKS but better than most given the situation. 1 jean & 1teashirt would cost around $15 to wash. I would not stay at this hotel again. POSITIVE-walking distance to wangfujing st, tianamen square, Quandejude beijing peking duck-long wait but good eat, highend shopping centers-very unbeleivable prices. Devamı

The hotel was very nice and clean. You have to pay for internet in your room, but it is free in the lobby. The location was about a 10 min walk to the subway - very convenient. The neighborhood seemed safe and the hotel staff was very nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Front desk service staff really need to be trained in customer service. They are friendly but unskilled and frustratingly slow in handling check-in and check-out even when there aren't that many customers waiting. They don't seem to understand what customers request either due to their poor English or lack of knowledge to answer questions. Hotel is really good. I'm a flight attendant, was in beijing on hols, have been many times tho. Booked standard business room was very happy with it. Good size, clean,good bed, my room looked out towards the main street, great. Silk Rd.mkts easy to walk too straight down the road about 15-20 walk if not a good walker offer taxi about 10RMB/yuan to get […] them to take you there its close, so no money in it for them. 'The Place', another shopping venue, has Zara, Sephora, etc.. 'Ya Show' markets 10-15RMB taxi (A$3.00 from Silk Rd, Mrkts) are awesome, same type of shoppping, but not as pushy as Silk Rd, get your hair, nails, massage, reflexogogy etc. done there..salon on right at front, very good the one i've always gone too. Just next to YaShow markets is a new shopping place called 'The Village', plus department store other side of road further up.. 'Jianguomen Station' is the one closest to Hotel, if you have heavy baggage there's no lift and you'll have to carry your bags up stairs, The airport express train RMB26.00 (A$5.00) you'll need to change trains to get to the above station, but honestly don't bother cause with luggage just catch a taxi roughly RMB100 A$15.. save yourself the trouble after your flight, its very cheap. As you can see i'm a shopper, have done the tourist thing, For location, hotel quality, its safe, this one is perfect. I'll definitely be booking again. Hopes this helps. Have fun! I got more than what I had expected. The past reviews did not prepare me for the surprise that I was to face. Firstly, the airport shuttle, line 3, let you alight almost right at the doorstep of the hotel. And the shuttle buses are parked right next to the hotel waiting for passengers to board them. Secondly, the location of the hotel can't be better. […] Opposite the hotel, across the road, is the Henderson shopping centre which can be accessed by foot via the underpass right in front of the hotel. You can always grab a bite in one of its eateries or buy stuffs from the supermarket in the centre. There is a subway station which is a 5 min walk away. Best of all, there are 2 bus stops right in front of the hotel which allow you to board buses to major tourist attractions such as the Tiananmen Square. However, you need to be literate in Chinese to recognise the bus routes that are stated at the stops and to board the right bus for your destination. Thirdly, the lowest tiered room that we booked was clean, spacious and tidy. Fourthly, you can make coffee and tea with the complementary coffee powder, teabags, sugar and creamer. Every day, there is a complimentary bottle of water for each guest. All in all, I am very satisfied with my stay. Devamı

This was a great hotel! Awesome for the price. Great location. 2 subway stations within quick walk of hotel (one left and one right). Service was hospitable and there was decent WIFI in the lobby area. McDonalds and Pizza Hut right across the street. About a 15-20 minute walk to Tianenmen SQ right of the hotel. We had a good time in Beijing mainly because we had stayed in a good place. Beijing International Hotel has it all: convenient location, comfortable rooms, good services and affordable price . Bus to the airport is a plus. Would like to stay in there next time if everything keeps the same or advanced.

BEFORE MOVING TO BEIJING INTERNATIONAL HOTEL, I STAYED AT ANOTHER LISTED 5-STAR HOTEL IN BEIJING. IT WAS LIKE LAYING ON A BOARD. ANOTHER GUEST COMPLAINED OF MOLD IN THE SHOWER. NEITHER OF US WANTED TO GO BACK TO THE OTHER HOTEL. SERVICE WAS WONDERFUL BY THE HOUSEKEEPING AND FRONT DESK. This hotel compares favorably to many of the hotels in Beijing that are accustomed to dealing with international tourists. We paid an additional rate per night to upgrade to the "business" floor in order to receive high speed internet and a few other perks. Otherwise, there is a separate charge for internet service. There is one concierge at this hotel […] named Bob who is fabulous. He spoke English very well, and easily accomodated all of our requests for good restaurants, tours, show tickets, etc. The rest of the concierge staff was merely okay, and I believe that much of their inability to help us was due to a language barrier. Overall it's a good place to stay as long as you book online to get the discounted rates as opposed to the walk-up rates they quote at the hotel itself. We'd stay there again. Devamı

Hotel location is excellent for visiting major sites and very accessible by car as it is on the same large avenue as Tianimen Square, Peoples Hall, Museum of China, Forbidden City, the pedestiran shopping avenue, and the Great Hall. Beijing Rail Station is close by (walking distance) for rail travelers. Room clean and has good bathroom/shower. Staff helpful and concierge speaks English. This hotel is centrally located a block from Peking main rail station, and about a kilometer from Tienamin Square. It is a first class business hotel, full of marble, with a large attached convention center. It's restaurants are geared to the convention folk: elegant but pricey. Try and reserve thru the hotel because they do have rooms with breakfast […] included packages that some of the hotel sites may not offer. It will save you money. It is located on a main drag with shopping malls across the street and down to the right towards the square. The closer to the square, the more shops, restaurants. For those afraid of the local food, there is a nice Pizza Hut across the street. This is also the pick-up hotel for the bus transfers to the Tianjin port. The hotel does not offer transfers so you would have had to made your own seperately. So, if you've made reservations for a cruise transfer you just go downstairs and get on the bus. There is a need for a non-Chinese restaurant, something that could be a pub-like setting, easy foods in an easy environment. The lobby is massive, with many people coming and going, and yet there is only a single sofa and 4 or 5 individual chairs.
