Days Inn Pineville La - Pineville

Hotel was clean but needs real improvement on the bathrooms. Tubs needs to be changed. They tried painted over them and the paint was chipping and the tub was looking very dingy. The tyle on the floor was cracked and comeing apart in several places. If the bathrooms would be redone the hotel would not be so bad because it was clean.

Location is odd, on back lot behind McDonalds, but thus far from traffic and quiet. Low occupancy made me wonder if I got the best rate. Breakfast has lots of choices and fresh, served long hours. Problems fixed quickly - telephone microphone not working, door key cards failed even with reasonable care. Electrical outlets terrible - buried behind bed […] and desk so only two accessible were switched at door for floor lamp and GFCI at basin. Accommodated my odd schedule in making up room. Devamı

A group of us stayed at this hotel, and had several rooms. The rooms were not clean. Ours was the cleanist and we found dirt in the tub and candy under the bed. I understand it was cheap, but I at least expect the rooms to be clean.

Hotel was basically clean. Biggest thing I noticed is that they didn't pay attention to detail. When the room was last painted, they either didn't take off the switch plates or failed to tape them properly...therefore, paint on the switches. Little things like that make the differance. Daytime manager was rude, when asked for a new room because airconditioning was not cooling the room properly. And also would only give us a sheet for the roll away bed, no pillow or blanket. She said that Hotels .com did not say anything about a third person sleeping in the room, even though it was on the check in and we were charged for my son in […] the room. You really need a freindlier Mgr. to deal with customers, a few other customers relayed similar responses from the Mgr. Devamı

Booked a room based on the pictures. Unfriendly staff and the room had a very bad smell to it. Not worth the price

We stayed here on our trip through Pineville on our way to New Orleans and was impressed. But, sadly, we didn't have the same experience on the way back through. I have to say the clerk was extremely helpful. We moved to 3 or 4 different rooms before we settled for the night and she kept checking on us all evening. You don't find customer oriented people […] like that much any more. I must say...if you are not going to service the air conditioners so that they will cool the rooms in an hour or so....then leave the darn things on all day. that is really the only complaint we had....that the room was more than HOT HOT HOT. I was impressed on this stay for a hotel of this age and price range to be a little more than what I expected. Although we stayed here on our return trip and wasn't as pleasantly surprised. You will have to see the next review for the return stay.

The sheets on the bed had a cigarette burn hole. The shower head was so low that I had to get on my knees to wash my hair - I am about 5'11. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I got into town very late on the day of my check in. Not only did the front desk clerk greet me by name, but she already had everything ready go to. It took me longer to get out of my car than it did to check in! The only negative thing that I have to say about this notel is that the room was SOOO hot when I first entered. First room assigned, went in and found the bathroom flooded, clerk very helpful and changed our room. Got ready for bed in second room, turned sheets back and found black body hair all over the sheets, very disgusting. Clerk was fast to respond bringing new sheets and changed the bed. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfortable accomodations and cleanliness of the room. Staff was helpful, and it was quiet. I liked that is was right off a freeway, and easily visible. The neighborhood felt safe, and parking available. My only complaint was that the pool wasn't available.

I selected this hotel because of the good reviews I saw on the web. While the hotel is in a good location and is probably in better shape than most of the other similarly priced in the area, I would not recommend it. The staff was very friendly and the full breakfast was nice. Our shower head was broken, a couple of light bulbs were out, there are almost […] no outlets in the entire room, and the room was filthy. My socks were black just from walking around on the carpet. This is also not the place to go if you are wanting to swim - which my 9 year old did. It was the first weekend in May and in Louisiana, it's warm enough to swim. However, the pool was still green and hadn't even begun to be cleaned. And, even if it was, it's EXTREMELY small and in the middle of the parking lot with a fence around it - not really even worth the time. The parking lot is very small and not well organized - anyone pulling a trailer of any significant length, will have great difficulty getting in and out - especially if you're arriving late. I've stayed in hotels in Pineville for years and I think I've tried all the options at least once. This time, the Days Inn was less than half the price of the competition. Other than the fact that the room doors open to the outside instead of to a inside corridor, I thought the hotel was fine. I've definitely stayed in nicer places, but not for the […] price I paid. Plus, they have Bravo, HGTV and Food Network on the TV - hard to come by at many hotels. I'd recommend this place for the price compared to the other options in Pineville. Devamı

The carpet in my room was so nasty that it made my grand-babies feet black from walking on it . We had to wear socks @ all time which became very black from the filthy floors. I have been here before and never noticed the carpet being so dirty. The manager was very nice. The housekeeping was asked to just vacuum the floor while we were out and replace […] our towels. They only vacuumed the floor and left the wet towels for 2 days. We had to go to the office and get our towels. , Devamı

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Literature in the lobby was outstanding. Local events, calanders etc. It seemed the surrounding stores were built around the Inn. Auto parts store and dollar store in easy walking distance for those "oh dang" moments. Every fast food chain right there. Minutes to "Alex" and all the major highways in the area...Walmart...The […] immediate neighborhood being mainly retail and single family homes, security wasn't a concern. There were 6 of us so we had to get two rooms but the rooms were big enough for us to all gather in one room for take out and board games before peeling off to our individual rooms for a comfortable night's sleep. WE HAD A GREAT BREAKFAST, ROOMS WERE GOOD AND BIG. CLOSE TO OUR DESTINATION AND PRICE WAS REASONABLE.

While the hotel is a few miles away from town, it was perfect for us. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast was good but there was not enough seating. One of the only downs we had was the morning desk person was a bit rude to us at check out, seemingly because we booked on Hotels.com. The hotel was having a problem with thier wireless routers and I was not able to get internet in my room. But the staff offered me another room were it was working fine. Great service and the staff was both professional and friendly

Hotel was very run down. Lots of repairs needed to be made. Some would've only cost a few dollars and should not be left undone. They room was clean, except for a sitting bench that had stains from who knows what and it did not look as though there was an attempt to clean it. Did not stay for breakfast because there were only two tables in a very small […] area. Will not stay there again. Devamı

I was very disappointed since this is a nationally known chain motel. Peeling paint in the bathroom and the shower head was not securely fastened to the shower stall and a broken towel rack. Come on, go to Walmart down the street, get some caulk for the shower head and buy a $5 dollar towel rack. Only one out the four lamps worked, come on! Stains on […] the carpet, and the carpet padding felt like an egg crate, meaning it had a funny texture that made it seem like you were walking on something strange under your feet. The hotel needs repairs on the rooms. Doors were not closing properly and paint coming off the tub in bathroom

The staff was very helpfull. We were put in a room where the a/c didn't work well so the moved us right away. No hassell. The room was clean but we had some problems with getting the shower to work. We've stayed here before and never had any problems before.

Hotel has deffiently been stayed in. Could use some work but was ok for the price and the one night stay.
