Dersaadet Hotel - Special Class - İstanbul

We picked Dersaadet Hotel mainly due to its reviews and ratings online. Yet, we were amazed to find that the Hotel's quality, value, location, service, and atmosphere were much better even than we expected. We got two rooms, for parents and adult children. They upgraded us to rooms with beautiful views of the sea. Both rooms had minor maintenance issues […] with the showers. And that is the only thing I can possibly say that is negative. Other than that, absolutely perfect. Excellent breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff, and a great location very close to the Blue Mosque and Hippodrome. It is small enough that the staff knows you. Several mosques are nearby, and yes the call to prayer comes very early in the morning, but the chanting is beautiful and you can barely hear it with the windows closed. I would highly recommend Dersaadet Hotel to anyone! Devamı

A very nice small hotel conveniently located. It is in a fairly quite neighborhood down the hill behind Sultan Ahmet mosque. The room was small but pleasant. Great hotel, good location, no problems

We loved our stay here - having researched a lot, we booked this and all was pretty much as hoped for. The terrace for breakfast overlooking the Bosphors is really special, this made it. Service was excellent. Location brilliant - while in touristy old town, it's off the beaten track. Turn left out of the hotel instead of right and you'll feel like […] you've time-travelled, it's anything but touristy. Just returned from a six day stay at this very nice smaller hotel. The location of the hotel is superb in relation to the old city of Istanbul attractions. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodations are comfortable, clean and up to modern standards. In fact, I was surprised to find all of the comforts associated with much larger […] hotel groups. The breakfast is more than adequate and served in a room/balcony with tremendous view over the Marmara sea. There is no real opportunity for other meals in the hotel but in view of some great restaurants in close proximity this is not a real problem. This hotel is for people that love to travel and who want to get close to the culture of the country they are visiting. Do not forget to make use of the one man laundry next to the hotel. This is a very nice small hotel - certainly worth the money. But it seems somwhat overrated. Positives: Clean & attractive rooms. Breakfast on roof - rather average selection but wonderful view - great place to start the day. Negatives: Very small room. Double wasn't large enough for a comfortable chair. We just returned from a fabulous trip from Turkey to Greece, where we began at the Dersaadet in Istanbul. We booked 3 rooms based on previous reviews and we weren't disappointed. THE HOTEL STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THE HOTEL IS SITUATED RIGHT IN THE HEART OF ALL THE PLACES YOU WOULD MOST WANT TO VISIT IN ISTANBUL. THE TERRACE AT THE TOP OF THE HOTEL GIVES YOU A GREAT VIEW OVERLOOKING THE BOSPHEROUS WE HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THIS HOTEL TO FRIENDS WHO ARE HOPING TO VISIT ISTANBUL IN THE NEAR FUTURE
