We had a very pleasant stay,Thank You! The only issue we had was that our room door was faulty, sometimes working but more often not. We picked this hotel for cost - £100 a night was not cheap but towards the cheaper end of decent accommodation (not staying in a backpackers hostel on honeymoon!). The hotel was in a good location. Close to Chinatown and St. Patty's Market. The place across the street, Sydney Brewhouse, was a great spot for cheap good drinks (relative to Sydney). One Complaint was the hotel service: the front desk would not accept US Visa cards. Neither as debit or credit. The hotel requires a $50 deposit, which not all Sydney […] hotels require. As a result, when booking the hotel shuttle we had to go to an ATM and get cash since we couldn't pay with our cards. It was frustrating and the front desk continued to imply that our cards were being declinied. Though the receipts clearly said "system error". They said its a regular occurance with US Visa cards. Which we assumed the hotel blocked for whatever reasons, maybe service charges? Either way, it was inconvenient.
