"La Quinta Lexington"
The hotel is new and well kept. Service is good. There's only one drawback, even though we had a non smoking room, the elevator, hallways and lobby smelled very smoky and so the smoke smell followed us into our room.

very nice hotel. tremendously improved since the days when it was a Red Roof Inn. Location by Interstate is extremely convenient, but the neighborhood is only somewhat sketchy, with a "gentleman's club just two doors down, and lots of truck and other traffic around because of the proximity to the interstate. "LaQuinta-Lexington"
I booked two rooms on line and was very pleased with the rooms. Our only disappointment was that the rooms displayed on the ad were not the same in person. The photos showed a sofa in a room with 2 Q beds...that was not what we got. However, we were well accomodated and the grandchildren enjoyed the indoor pool. Good value for the price.

"Very nice place to stay"
Very nice room, staff were very helpful, breakfast was very good, everything was clean. This is my second stay at this place in two weeks and I have the same comments for both stays. It is not really close to big name places to eat but they are only about 10-15 minutes away (and there are a bunch of them). Quick on and off of I75 South or North around […] the Lexington, KY area. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful woman at the front desk who was able to tell us about some things to do in the area. The room was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. It felt very classy! A great place for couples, businesspeople, or more casual travelers alike. "best yet"
This is a gorgeous hotel, excellent service friendly personnel wonderful breakfast would not hesitate to stay there again
Breakfast was what you paid for (free). It was a full of carbs, processed food, and nothing else.
We checked in late at night after travelling about 6 hours by car. The room was exactly what I had ordered. My son linjked to their Wi-Fi connection in minutes. Bed was comfortable, but sink outside of the bath area lacked some privacy that my wife would have appreciated. "LaQuinta in South Lexington, KY-very accommodating"
We had to postpoone our travel plans at the last minute by 24 hours. Motel staff (Krista & manager) were very accommodating. No penalty charge was applied, even though we were in the "penalty window." When we arrived, desk staff (Della) made certain the room would accommodate my wheelchair bound sister. On our trip to the University of Kentucky, the hotel was very convienent . It was just off the highway. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and modern. Although we heard noise from the highway, our beds were comfortable and we rested well. When we visit U of K again, this hotel will be our choice hotel.

All in all, it was a pleasant stay (4 nights), but the hotel is a little out of the way of a lot of Lexington social activity. It is near I-75, so I would imagine it would be perfect for the road-weary traveller. The room was comfortable and clean, except for the day that they forgot to clean the room. "Good value / Nice La Quinta"
We were very please with this property. The rooms were very nice for the price point and the hotel was clean. In particular, the gentleman who was taking care of the breakfast bar was very courteous and did a very nice job making sure the buffet was clean and well stocked. The beds were nice and comfy.
"Just minutes away from from happening Lexington"
Stayed here while traveling to watch Vandy play Kentucky this year in football. While our game wasn't what we hoped, our room on the other hand exceeded expectations. It was extremely clean, well priced, and surprisingly modern. The rooms had flat screens, comfortable layouts, and plush bedding. I will stay here again next time I'm in Lexington.

"excellent and new"
I'm a fan of new hotels. Staff was very polite. Great service! Very nice hotel for a fraction of the price of other hotels with 3+ star ratings. Breakfast was delicious.
"La Quinta on Athens-Boonsboro/Lexington"
Rooms are overcrowded with furniture. Air conditioning is questionable as is the finish of the room. The pet policy of this hotel is quite unreasonable stating that "crated or not" pets are not to be left alone in the hotel room. If this is the policy it should be stated on the website.
