Estela Barcelona - Sitges

Very nice hotel ideally situated near the port D Aiguadoc. The hotel is fully decorated with Art Works (painting and sculptures). Modern but friendly. Good Breakfast buffet. Nice Terrasse. Confortable rooms, and service OK.

The hotel has has a lovely location by the marina and a beach but a 15 minute walk from the centre. Very quiet in December. Plenty of restaurants at the marina, though not all open at this time. Room was pleasant and had all the usual comforts. Good size with sitting area. TV had only one English channel - world news. Great views over beach or seafront. […] Good buffet breakfast. Very good hotel but 15-20 minutes walk from Sitges town centre. Shouldn't really be called "Estrella Barcelona" since it is 30 miles west of Barcelona although Barcelona is easily accessible by regular train service. Rates very reasonable for the quality of the hotel, although it is off-season.

The hotel is located by the Marina right on the beach. Excellent views from the room and from a pretty large balcony. Clean room and restroom but need upgrades especially the bathroom. Kind of far from the center especially on the hot and sunny day. Also 2 out of 3 nights during our stay there were parties in the restaurant with a lot of noise and even […] fireworks. Fantastic location. Outstanding service, excellent breakfast. Great artistic interior. Excellent sea views. Our only disapointment was no Tea or Coffee facility in the room, but they were willing to provide hot jugs of water. Local shop across the road has everything you need. Restaurants very close. This was our last hotel in a small Spanish tour. It was a nice and relaxing hotel to stay in. All the art added an extra dimension (for an adult). Good breakfast, relaxing at the pool area, and nice to have lunch next to the pool! Friendly staff! Would consider this place again, despite the fact that it is not right in the town centre.

very nice art collection in hotel, friendly staff and good facilities. A bit far from the center of Sitges but suited for a relaxing getaway.

The location, the rooms, the food and specially the atmosphere created by the art that it is all around the hotel made our time on this hotel a perfect experieced.

This was a beautiful hotel and a great place to relax by the pool or at the small beach below. If you're looking to party...you must rely on taxis to get to and from the center of it all.

Hotellet slår sig på at være en symbiose mellem smuk arkitektur og moderne kunst. Det virker mere som et loppemarked, da kunsten ikke er udstillet hensigtsmæssigt og hverken i stil eller tid har nogen sammenhæng eller kan opfattes som kompliment til hotellets rum, indretning og funktioner. Nærmest tvært imod. Dernæst er hotellet ret så nedslidt og […] trænger til generelt vedligehold. Der er dog rent alle steder som man kunne forvente på et 4 stjernet hotel. Dog synes resten af hotellets kvaliteter til maks 3 stjerner. Hvis man skal til Sitges anbefaler jeg at man booker Sunway Resortet i den anden ende af byen. Det er ret lækkert! Devamı

Vi bodde på Estela Barcelona fire døgn i august 2011. Vi er en familie på foreldre og 3 store barn (16, 19 og 21). For oss var Estela perfekt. Hotellet har bra standard. Frokosten er flott og hotellet er fullt av interessant kunst! Ellers skjer det ikke så mye rundt hotellet. Men det var ok for oss! Det ligger riktignok like ved en marina med mange […] restauranter. Disse var sikkert ok, men de så litt kjedelige og dyre ut? Hotellet ligger rett ved en koselig strand i utkanten av Sitges. På oss virket det som om det var mest lokale/spanske på stranden - og ikke så mage turister. Stranden har en ok restaurant der du kan få kjøpe en god lunsj. Dersom du vil inn til Sitges - med alle restaurantene, barene og folkelivet må du gå en 15 minutters tid langs en trivelig gangvei. Devamı

La chambre n'a pas été disponible avant 4:00pm bien que nous y étions depuis 1:00pm. Elle avait été préparée pour deux personnes alors que la réservation était pour trois personnes. La chambre n'avait pas été nettoyée adéquatement. L'hôtel a demandé un payment alors que la chambre avait été pré-payée. Le montant payé à Hotels.com était près du double […] du montant demandé par l'hôtel. Je ne recommande à personne cet hôtel et éviter de payer à l'avance votre hôtel via Hotel.com Devamı

Jättefint hotell. Fräscht, stora rum, utsikt över hamnen och havet. Konstverk i rummet och i offentliga utrymmen. Rekommenderas. Bra frukost.

We had the plaesure of staying 4 nights at the Estela hotel. A very unique hotel in many ways with all the art and special interior design. Works very well to create a great atmosphere. Nice big rooms - also if you bring 2 smaller children with you. Good cleaning and very nice and dedicated staff was our impression. Restaurant in the hotel is very good […] and the continental breakfast huge and including everything you could possibly imagine. The hotel is situated right by the Mediteranean sea and a small beach. In the yacht habour a few metres away some very nice restaurants and 10 minutes walk from the hotel Sitges downtown area, which is a typical old spanish coastal city. However with very nice shopping facilities with a lot of nice small butiques spezializing in fashion of all kind. Good prices for both shopping and food - probably because this is mostly a spanish tourist/vacation area. All in all a very pleasant experience that we can warmly recommend to others ! Hotellet ligger litt utenfor sentrum, for oss var det perfekt, stille og rolig. Mange bra restauranter ved båthavn i nærheten. Fin utsikt og fin spasertur langs stranden inn til byen, tar 10 - 15 min. Rent og pent og morsomt med masse forskjellig kunst. Hyggelig betjening og med enkel, men god frokost. Bord både ute og inne. Great Hotel with original interior, next to the beach. Suitable for Barcelona trips as well, only 30 minutes by train. It takes a nice, 15-minute walk to the centre of the town, but this didn't matter to us. The port is next door with nice restaurants and bars. The seaview is fantastic.
