We arrived late and our host (Franz?) was expecting us. The room was quite good; we had to leave early so we missed our Cont. Breakfast. And we were able to tour Staunton before continuing our trip. Thanks again, Paul.

The room was small but served us well. The bathroom was fine except for (what it looked like was throw up ) on the wall close to the toilet ! The bed was okay . All around the room the the rug had thick dust . There wasn't any shampoo . I had to leave my room to get it . It was very late when we arrived so I wasn't thrilled when I had to go and get […] shampoo.The kicker was the guy behind the counter was not pleasant at all ! Clean and comfortable, but although there was a microwave and refrigerator, there was no coffee maker. Also no other setting except the desk chair. There was a window seat but being next to the window it was chilly. The only lighting near the bed was a 10' long fluorescent that was either totally on or off. I was very pleased with this hotel. It was clean and bright and fairly new looking. The location was good for me as it was close to the freeway and I was only stopping for the night. There were several choices for food very close by (both fast food and sit-down). Left early so didn't take advantage of complimentary breakfast, only the coffee! Generally satisfied, but fixtures a bit threadbare and worn; requested an accessible room for the size, which was fine, but the bath was fitted with an absolutely horrible (and badly installed) hand shower. The rooms were very strange in their layout but had everything one would need and were kept very clean. With the free breakfast and the price, it was well worth the $. Would stay again.

The bed was comfortable enough and the price was good. The room is small but I wouldn't say that was a negative, it is called a microtel...It's fine for one night. The room and bathroom was a little dingy and a little but of mold/mildew in the shower. The ac unit made a ridiculous noise when it was turned on, we were a little worried it was going to […] blow up but luckily it didn't. The tv needs serious upgrading. This is our second stay at this hotel and we are very satisfied with the staff, comfort of the room and enjoy having so many places to eat within a short radius. We would recommend this hotel to everyone and will be staying there again in the future.

Nice hotel for its price, rooms are clean, relatively good condition. A bit distant from the highway, but still manageable.

Free fresh baked cookies at 8 pm?! They were pretty low quality but still, how rare are cookies in the motel world? This place was clean, comfortable and right off the highway without highway noise, and 2 minutes drive from downtown. It was surprising what we got for what we paid. Definitely recommended.

Good location, hotel starting to show it's age, but relatively quiet! Biggest disappointment is the lie about the hot breakfast! This was one of my primary reasons for picking this hotel. I was in the breakfast area a few minutes after 8AM and there was nothing hot set up! I had a stale bagel!! I did see they could serve hot food, but this type of service […] must have been discontinued! We arrived late and they were awake, prompt, and courteous. There were no late arrival problems. The breakfast in the morning was basic, and good for getting back on the road. The view was pretty.

I have stayed here 4 times before and always loved it, since then they have changed mattresses to very cheap thin uncomfortable in my opinion throw away beddin g. I do not intend to stay here again since it will be awhile before they change the\ mattresses again.

I enjoyed my stay at Microtel - Staunton, Va. The hotelservice was friendly, I really enjoyed the fresh cookies baked each night. My room was clean and and the atmosphere was quiet. My only suggestion would be that they upgrade their TV's and aquire more stations.

Inside of the rooms needs updates. Rooms are small and the walls need painted. Carpet is old and tile is broken in places. Beds are not very comfortable. Our remote on our TV was broken. Front desk person was nice, but hard to understand. Very busy area, so I am sure we should be able to find a hotel in better shape.

My title says it all. This hotel is in a beautiful, safe location, but could use some sprucing up. However, the staff is fantastic. If you're just passing through, definitely think about this place. I was driving cross country and had a car full of stuff. The person at the desk checked on my car throughout the night and let me know that I left an indoor […] light on. My wife and I were in the need of just a simple, clean room with a comfortable bed while traveling. This little hotel fit the bill. I don't know if the "micro" in the name Microtel was used to indicate the size of the rooms, but it's true. We had a room with a queen bed. It was pretty small, but not uncomfortably so. There is a decent amount of storage […] space and the room layout maximized the little space. We checked in at 10:30 pm and didn't do much else other than use the (free!) wi-fi to catch on e-mail and Facebook before crashing for the night. We were in a room next to the ice dispenser so we could hear it churning out ice during the night, but it wasn't bothersome. We passed on the free continental breakfast, it didn't offer much. Devamı

Although the room was (as the very name of the chain suggests) far from spacious, it was nevertheless pefectly adequate for my wife and me (and actually roomier than our ship-board cabin on a recent tour of the Galapagos Islands!). More importantly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the price was definitely right. Basic but clean hotel, located close to I-81 but up on a relatively quiet hill away from the traffic. Small, European-style rooms with comfortable beds, good cable, and decent bathrooms. Wish the windows opened, though. Breakfast was adequate, nothing more; same with the service there.

Fairly basic motel with small rooms. Not on a main road but close to restaurants, freeway, etc. Friendly helpful staff, and room was clean and in good shape. Not a five star resort but ssimple, affordable hotel with no real issues.

I don't know why but we got a handicapped room which made the bathroom very large and nice. The room itself is very small. It was clean. Coffee is served all the time but the hot water for tea was luke warm. The breakfast was fine, nothing special, cereal, juice, toast.
