The Port Inn - Portsmouth

I stayed one night. Everyone was very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Seemed to need some updating.

Delightful stay! Room was very clean, quiet, hot shower and good TV service.Breakfast was fine - could use a little more fruit. Motel was easy to find.

Excellent comlimentary breakfast, comfy beds, rooms were small, but adequate, parking convenient and everything one might need (coffeemaker, refrigerator) were all there. I would return and reccommend this hotel. It was about a twenty-thirty minute walk through safe-looking neighborhoods to downtown Portsmouth.

Old style motel in great condition. Bed is v. comfy. Not fancy but has best rates in the Portsmouth area. Clean as a whistle.

This place was fantastic- the staff were all very helpful and the place was absolutely spotless. I had no weird feelings of "oh this is a hotel room- quick let's not let our clothes hit the floor". The complimentary breakfast is great. Also, I cannot stress how nice and friendly the staff are. Every request I made was promptly answered even if the time […] for them was not convenient. The hotel is roughly three minutes from downtown and is incredibly quiet at night. The area was within ten to fifteen minutes of every beautiful beach. This hotel is a little out of Portsmouth proper and you would need to drive into town. But it was a lovely little motel with very clean rooms and well equipped.

First impression upon arrival was 'just another Motel on the highway', but this was dispelled by the quality and cleanliness of the room which featured a kitchenette, the more than adequate complimentary breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff/ owner. Unfortunately it was still a little cool in mid May to take advantage of the pleasant pool area. We […] did ask for a room at the back of the complex away from the road; reception was able to oblige. Very well kept hotel and convenient to highway and downtown Portsmouth - a little noisy if you are staying in rooms to the front!!

Surprisingly nice Unfortunately some truck noise could be heard in the morning but the room was very nice and a reasonable price.

The hotel is close to the highway and to the hospital where I was attending a conference. A traffic light by the entrance made for easy in and out regardless of direction of travel. It is also very convenient to downtown Portsmouth and all of it's restaurants and shopping district. The room itself was cozy and the service staff helpful.

This room was very clean, I was very satisfied. The front desk (Cory especially) went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome, and helped out in any way he could. Although we only stayed one night, I would definitely go back for a longer stay.

Our room did have a either a previously smoked in smell or a musty older house smell. We just opened the windows and aired it out and it was perfect. We did book from Hotels.com so we got a cheaper rated room, so it was located near the road and was a liitle loud durning the early evening and early morning. But it wasn't too bad later on, we could have […] asked them for another room I am sure they would have been more than happy to help. my boss had a king size bedroom closer to the office a little more back off the road. she had no coplaints. It was a nice and quite lobby for sitting in for the continental breakfast. We stayed on a Sunday night so it was very peaceful. I know we all decided we will stay here again. Devamı

A very attractive small motel with very comfortable beds. Excellent service with real attention paid to cleanliness and upkeep. Easily accessible for those enroute to Logan from points north.

I liked the room, breakfast and staff. The only negative was the walls were thin. I was woken up by a neighbor at 2AM returning from a night out.

My wife and wanted a last minute get away and found the Portsmouth Inn very well suited for our needs. The room was roomy, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the Portsmouth Inn to our friends and will go back for another getaway weekend.

We loved this place! it was very clean and close to the I-95. The staff were helpful and friendly, The bed was comfy - we had a king. The rates were very reasonable. The room had a fridge and microwave. Nice shower. Spotless! We plan to stay there on our way back from Florida. (some new pillows with more shape to them would be fantastic)

We stayed in one if the studios and out stay was excellent. Employees were friendly and responsive. Asked for a late check out with no issues. I would stay here again.

We arrived and immediately liked it! Check-in was easy, Skip at the desk was great(if you want to know about war/military history...he's your man). The rooms were normal for a hotel and very clean....the houskeeping was great, even though it is right on the Rt 1 bypass, it was quiet...and close to everything. Perfect for an overnight stay close to the I-95. Nothing fancy, but great value with all the basics: clean, friendly, convenient, and reasonably priced. Acceptable continental breakfast.

This is the third time I have stayed at the Inn. Every time has been a very positive experience. Great non-chain hotel that never misses a beat. Clean, stylish,friendly, fast check in, and great location for my purposes. Will stay again when I'm in the area. Highly recommend.

Easy on and off the highway, only a few minutes into Portsmouth (nothing walkable from the hotel but easy drive). Clean, comfy, no complaints.

Bathrooms esp bathtubs need to be redone or cleaned better. The woman working at the front desk on arrival was very nice and helpful but the man there the next morning didnt even acknowledge us or say anything when we came in for the very simple continental breakfast. We booked this room because we were arriving at an evening wedding reception during a heavy snow storm. We knew we wouldn't make our planned destination. What luck to find the Port Inn. They waited up for us, concerned that we would make it. They hand shoveled around the cars in the morning. We'll make an excuse to visit again!

I have to say I was expecting a lot according to the reviews here, and I wasn't disappointed. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and are actually quite spacious. The bed was comfortable, and even though the hotel is actually right next to the highway, the rooms were soundproofed enough that we didn't hear anything. But the best part was the service. […] People at the counter were so friendly and helpful, it was fantastic. They greeted us by name every time we went to the lobby. I was truly remarkable. It takes about 5 minutes to drive into Portsmouth from the hotel, so the location is great, even though you can't simply walk into town.
