I booked a non-smoking room, but as soon as you walk down the hall on the first floor, you could smell nothing but stale smoke. My room on the 2nd floor was even worse. I had to buy air fresheners & Febreeze to make it bearable. The obvious smell of marijuana was evident on both floors - which means either the hotel staff was allowing it to happen, […] or they're clueless! The room had not been vacuumed prior to our arrival. The electricity to the hotel was cut off by the local utility company while we were showering/dressing. The heat/cool unit in the room was difficult to set properly. The television was missing the remote control (they did find one and bring it eventually.) Black long hair in sink, stuff dripped down bathroom wall, stuff on headboard. Shuttle/taxi service was convenient. Hotel staff were friendly. If the room was clean we would have been satisfied

A very modest hotel that was in our price range. Housekeeping personnel very attentative. But couldn't speak much English but it was OK. Breakfast helpful in getting the day started right. I think it should be one hour longer on the weekend. Thanks for a great room with a great price.

A very reasonably priced, reasonably comfortable motel, with a good complimentary breakfast.

we had a very good stay at your hotel and if in the neighborhood we would stay here

Called in advance of arrival requesting First Floor, told not available. Upon arrival, with 4 cars in the parking lot the attendent persisted that I had to be on the Second Floor. Only upon further challenging did he provide a first floor room. Front Desk - very poor representation Breakfast - very poor, with a jar of peanut butter for shared use. Room […] - well used Devamı

The location was good and the room was clean. They did have internet but it was average not high speed. I did have the bed I wanted but the room was small and you could barely walk around the bed.

I asked for a room close to a door or elevator as I am disabled and cannot walk far. I got a room on the second floor WAY down the hall from the elevator and from vending/ice machines, etc. Vending machine wouldn't accept quarters. One ice machine didn't work, had to go to another. Internet was out for two days.

Me and my family had a nice time at the hotel. The housekeeper and receptionist was nice and very pleasant. Always greeting us whenever they saw us coming or leaving. The complenmentary breakfast they served was very convenient and my kids loved it, and it saved me a trip from having to leave early in the morning to get breakfast. Checked in at 7:30pm with grandkids and was told the pool closed at 8pm. After driving 4 hours we were looking forward to relaxing and letting the kids swim. Very disappointed and was told that was the owners rules. I tried to call the hotel the day before we left and could not get an answer to ask some questions about the hotel..

We had a room that was clean and located close to Libertyville, where we wanted to stay. It is not a fancy hotel, and the general appearance of things is average, but the cost to do a quickly planned stay in town was definitely worth the price. I would stay there again. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

pet friendly means nasty rooms! and staff should be fired for not properly cleaning room after pet damage

Very reasonably priced. Convenient location. Wildberry's Restaurant across the street was great. Room was relatively clean. The hotel needs to replace the carpeting in the room, halls, lobby and elevator. In particular the carpet in the elevator was in very bad shape and smelled bad. Room was tidy and staff friendly. Did not use pool, but it appeared clean and well-kept. Would stay there again. Only complaint was the elevator was really slow. Close to excellent food (Cafe Pyrenees) and best pizza in Chicagoland (Pizza Italia). Sunset foods on RT 137 has excellent salad bar and soup/prepared foods.

The room smelled musty. The air conditioner was very noisy. There were spots of mold in the bathroom.

If lookiing for somewhere to sleep this place is ok. Power went out on our last day there, no one even came to inform us or see if we needed help (flashlight to see down the hallway would have been nice).

the surrounding town of libertyville is AWESOME! lots of little pubs and shopping near by! but the days inn was run down and the floors in our room were so disgusting our socks were black after only a few minutes. The pool was nice and in good condition but the rooms were so gross it didn't make up for it.

the hotel had a funny smell,the bed linen was old,the elevator took for ever,it was so hard to get clean towels,i had to take a cold shower because they ran out of hot water, except for the house keeping the people were polite

The hotel is very old and tired. The air conditioner came on every five minutes and made a loud vibration noise when it was on. It was not conducive to sleeping, no other rooms were available, but not sure if they would have been any different. The room was small but clean.

The location of this Days Inn was convenient. The hotel was relatively clean and comfortable. I was a little disappointed in the night service. Several times, I went looking for someone at the front desk in the evening hours only to find the desk empty and no one around.

This hotel was nice and cheap. There was some small food joints close by since i was walking and had no car. It isn't that far from the train station and easily walkable. The room wasn't that small. The Days Inn was a pleasant hotel to stay in. For the price, you can't find better. Everyone was friendly, down to the houskeeping staff. They did an EXCELLENT job in my room after the first night. I was impressed. I left them a tip, but they didn't take it, so I'm not sure if they are not allowed to, or they missed it, but I would definitely stay there […] again. Professional staff. Staff on duty was very welcoming. Checking in was with ease. clean enviroment.

I've stayed here 3 x's when my children Graduated from Boot Camp and it's easy to find. Great location to everything! Right price for my budget! I'll always stay here when I have to go to Illinois.

Went for a simple afternoon redevous. Price was right for the purpose. Not stellar beyond that though.

The hotel has some issues but what would you expect for the price your not going to get even a 2 star hotel at this price. The beds were comfortable enough and the place was clean enough what more do you really need.

Room was clean. But smaller than expected. Breakfast was great...get up early tho. Staff was friendly and helpful too. It was raining so we didn't use the pool. Only wish we could've gotten more towls. Usually stay other close places but will definitely recommend others to try it out.

At checkin I found out that my reservation for a King room was not held and that my room had been given away. The hotel was totally booked and the only other room available was for two double beds.

Our reason for the visit was to spend a couple days at Six Flags and this hotel was about 5 minutes from the park. VERY convenient. Lots of surrounding restaurants as well. We were very pleased and would book this hotel again.

staff was very nice and helpfull. location was great. only 6 min. from 6 flags. rooms were clean and smell free!!

Hall way and room smelled musty. My teen age girls did not like it. They sprayed perfume around to cover the smell. The bathroom was clean. Had to ask for more towels.
