The staff was friendly enough. The walls are thin, but the price was right. Good for the one night I stayed there.

I had a Wonderful stay. The atmosphere was very quiet, calm and relaxing. I had my 3yr old with me on this stay. This is a great place to stay, Stayed there 10 days at a very reasonable rate through hotels.com and when it was time to book the 11 stay which would be the free day the rates suddenly doubled!!! "Just a room"
This hotel is a bit out of the way from downtown Baton Rouge. It is close to shopping centers for normal convenience. The room is just big enough for one person or a close couple. I did have to switch rooms because in the original room the TV on had 5 channels. The room I did use the shower barely drained, but overall it was okay. The name properly describes both the room size and the price. Microtel delivers exactly what they offer and at a very good price. Service, cleanliness, comfort are all the same as the more expensive chains--the room is smaller, and the price is much smaller. If all you are looking for is a place to sleep and take a shower or bath (and a standard motel […] "continental" breakfast) Microtel delivers it at half the price of similarly located hotels in the Baton Rouge area. It was fine - room could have used a better clean. Generally quite, except for the room above -walking on 3rd floor easily heard on 2nd floor. Very friendly helpful staff.

"Microtel In n Baton rouge I10"
Clean and comfortable, though the rooms are small. Good beds. Very good value. Far enough from the freewayto not pick up much noise. One BIG complaint: no newspapres avalable, not even USA Today or the local Baton Rouge paper. Unacceptable.

"Microtel Baton Rouge Reiger Road"
I have stayed at this hotel before and I was really pleased with the service and the staff is always nice and welcoming. I must say though, my room this particular time was not as clean as the other rooms I had stayed in. I think they could use some remodeling on the first floor. The upper floors have cleaner rooms.

Lights went out in the middle of the night and there was no attempt to inform the guests. Water bucket leaked all over the desk and carpet. Could not get assistance and when I finally found an employee they suggested I confront the noisy hotel guest...

location excellent... bed was a full not a queen, room was tiny and cramped if i had walked in of the street i would have gotten a cheaper rate... never again unless you are desparate for loging dont stay here

"Close to I-10"
The best thing about this hotel was the friendly staff, especially Pearl, the morning breakfast hostess. She was very kind and welcoming. As far as the hotel, when we arrived after a 12 hr. drive, the reservation for the room was not accurate, plus one of the two rooms had a horrible smoke odor but was a "non-smoking" room. After complaining, the staff […] member graciously got us moved the next morning, although the attendant said that he should not have done that. We stayed at the hotel four nights and two of the days our room never got cleaned. There was an odd odor in the hallways... it just felt dirty. Would we stay again? "Hotel was ok..."
The hotel has a nice location with restaurants and shopping close. I didn't feel comfortable because it felt dirty. The toilet wasn't clean and there were hairs in the shower. I wouldn't be surprised if I had bed bugs. The free breakfast didn't have much, I only ate there once out of the 3 nights I stayed. I wouldn't recommend it. "The Micorotel-Baton Rouge"
The first room, a dbl bed. the room smelled like urine., they gave us a suite across the hall. It was filthy, sheets had hair and dirt on them both beds ,bathroom was not clean, tub was dirty old soap was still in the shower....very disppointed

The hotel room was at a glance neat but after further walk through their was a roach in the bathroom and stains on the bed. It was disturbing.

I was delayed and knew I would be arriving late so I called the reservations line and told them that I wouldn't be in until after 8PM. They said that was fine and my room would be ready. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the front desk, and my reservation was in order. In a very timely manner, I received my key and checked into my room. The room […] was clean, smelled nice and have everything I expected. The only nitpick is they do not provide shampoo/conditioner/mouthwash. I did not check to see if they provided them upon request as I brought all my own toiletries. The bed was comfortable, the TV more than adequate, I did not use a computer so I cannot speak to their internet access. The only minor complaint I had was noise. Whenever someone upstairs (I was on the second floor) flushed their toilet, I could hear it in the pipes. Also, I could also hear either doors slamming or possibly knocking pipes from time to time. The breakfast was adequate but sparse (no eggs/meats). All the wait staff I interacted with were cordial and friendly. I travel to BR to visit my aging father, and I will stay there again. Devamı

For the rate the room was offered I was extremely pleased with the accommodation. A very comfortable bed and clean surroundings was the best that could be asked for and the value exceeded the cost.

Room Was good and the beds were comfortable after a long day of being a tourist. The room seemed a little smaller than a standard room size but was great for all our needs. Especially having the bowl games in H.D. on the flat screen T.V. in the room!
"My night in Baton Rouge at the Microtel off I-10"
Workers were nice, hotel was decent. However, the room was substandard. Beds were comfortable, but the chair and window seat were stained and didn't look like they had ever been cleaned. That made me feel like the whole place wasn't really clean. I would NOT stay in this hotel again!
I was very impressed with all of the staff and the smiles and willingness to make my stay very comfortable.

Overall good value for the price. Rooms are small and an in room fridge would have been nice. Had to re code my key for first 3 days...just an small hassle. I'd stay again.

"Adequate"
It's a very basic, no frills hotel not far from anything significant if you have a car. The room was clean and housekeeping kept on top of things. You could hear your neighbors, fortunately mine weren't that loud. If you're merely looking for a place to lay your head between events I found it adequate.

Great location, cheap price. Safe neighborhood with several resturants nearby. But, you get what you pay for. The hotel is a great place if you are on a tight budget. But, I suggest spending the extra money on a nicer hotel with larger rooms, if you are that kind of person.
