We were in this hotel in Dec 2012 , were disappointed when i stayed there . Room sheet were not clean , there was no room amenities like five star hotel . I did stayed in Le Meridien in other countries and cities too but this was really not up to the mark .

Hotel itself was fabulous. Cairo airport was terrifying!! The taxi ride was terrifying, bc driver didn't know where the pyramids were? He spoke no English. I recommend you tell people ONLY BOOK YOUR RIDE TO AND FROM AIRPORT WITH HOTEL ARRANGED DRIVERS,!!!!

Hotel is very nice and staff are friendly and helpful. Only drawbacks are: no ice unless you ask for it at the front desk. Extra amenities not in the room are: ironing board and iron, coffee maker, and hair dryer which are normally supplied in the hotel rooms back in the states. There was music playing 330am in the morning from some where outside. Heard men arguing in the hotel hall earlyin the morning. Beware you pay a 12pc service charge on meals and the delievery person mis informed me that I had to tip on tops of this. The hotel is in the middle of a very nasty looking place in the city but it is emacualte inside!! I would not suggest touring outside of the hotel grounds,but there is a little store kiosk about a block from the hotel to buy sodas and snacks since they are so expensive inside the hotel.I traveled alone and felt safe enough to walk the block but i wouldnt […] have gone any further,also,if you are going to tour the pyramids be sure to book a tour with the hotel,it is very reasonable and do not attempt the pyramids alone,the locals are so aggresive and mean that you cant even enjoy your tour but the tour guide takes care of them and sends them on thier way.the workers there are all so sweet and kind but they do wait around for a tip,i'd suggest 5 pounds,that makes them happy!!! the food is really good espeially the buffet!! Location is great, pool area is nice, room is OK. It is very conveniently located just 10 minutes walking from the pyramids. The room was OK but nothing spectacular. They only have a buffet for breakfast or room service, if you want to go down and eat breakfast at the restaurant, you can't order from a menu.

Just stayed 4 nights. The service was great - I guess that's what you get when there are few tourists. The breakfast and dinner buffets were yummy, but just a little pricey. I was surprised that I was charged so much for local calls - it's better to call or go to the front desk and have them do the calling. Because of the cool weather the pool was too […] cold to go in. The hotel is very near the pyramids, which was what we wanted. I would never go back here though because of the air quality. Even sitting out by the pool and enjoying the view of the pyramids was terrible because the nearby busy road was spewing so much exhaust into the air. Like I say, this is not the hotel's fault, but the air quality even at the pyramids made it horrible. Walking to the nearby convenience store was also a little scary, 'cause people kept badgering me for their services. Glad I saw the pyramids, but never again. Devamı

From the minute we checked in the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained- which is impressive considering that sadly most of what you see in the surrounding city is crumbling infrastructure, dilapidated buildings, and mounds of trash. Our room overlooked the pyramids, so it was great to sit on the porch […] and take in the view. We loved coming home at the end of the day to swim in the gorgeous pools and relax in the hot tubs and saunas in the spa. As far as location goes, it doesn't get much better. We managed to walk to the pyramids (about a 15 minute walk, but you do have to cross one busy street) and do everything ourselves- you get hassled a lot by people claiming to be guides but if they don't leave you alone after a few times of saying no thank you, a strong "khalas" gets them to leave you alone. If I go back to Giza again I will definitely stay at Le Meridien again! Devamı

I was concerned abit when I had read some reviews of this hotel but was plesantly suprised. The hotel was in excellent and the staff on the ball. The staff of the hotel went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasurable. Even remembering our dining and beverage favorites and making sure that extra coffee or favorite sweets were at the table for […] our family. They were able to provide us timely updates of the political situation and guide us to the best routes to various sites around Cairo. With their help we were able to see all the major sites around Cairo without incident. We were staying in the new wing and the room was excellent and the view of the Pyramids was wonderful from the window. Our room was wonderful and the bathroom was spacious. The staff were constantly making sure the hotel was clean and neat. Our favorite area was the Citrus Area, where one could have a casual meal while seeing the Pyramids and the pool. If back in Egpyt we will definately stay here again. Devamı

If you want to be by the pyramids, this is the hotel. You CAN walk there, so don't let anyone tell you you should take a tour. The hotel is self contained so it felt safe and it was nice hanging out by the pool to relax and stare at the pyramid. Food was decent and modestly priced. If I went back I would stay here again. The breakfast buffet was fabulous...one […] of the best I have had. Warning...everyone on the streets is a con, even that nice man that showed you his book of quotes from other travelers...he is a con too. Don't buy generic water from anywhere...it tastes like dirt, buy a brand and it's the same price. Devamı

We were a party of 5: my mother, my husband , my daughter of 14 and my son of 11. We were helped very wel and absolutly normal. We had made the reservation for one night for two rooms with view on the Pyramids via Internet without other help and there was no problem at all when we checked in. They even gave us two rooms next to each other with a connecting […] door so that we finally had a kind of a suite. The rooms where on the 6th floor and the view on the pyramids was fantasic. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. But the children were very disappointed that they closed the pool at 5.15 p.m. and the sun still shining: we had been informed that they close at sunset or 6 p.m. But that was the only bad expierience. Everything else was great. The staff was nice and helpfull but not pushy. And they have a fantastic buffet for dinner whith food for really everyone (also much Egyptian food) and it really tasted very very good. The service was absolutly good and the price absolutly worth it. Also the breakfeast buffet is a pleasure for nose, eyes and tong. If I or we would stay longer in Cairo a next time we would rather look for a cheaper hotel in the Center. But for this time it was perfect for us. We really liked the hotel very much and can recommand the hotel for a short luxuray stay nearby the Pyramids. Devamı

I have stayed in many hotels lately, and without the doubt this hotel provides some of the best attention to the guest I have seen. Everyone at the hotel are very nice, from reception to guest services, pool, food, etc. Whatever you need, ask and they will find a way to accommodate you. The concierge can arrange anything for you, from tours to dine […] places, etc and they are nice enough to write everything in Arabic for you in case you need to get references from locals once you are in the city. I was very glad I stayed in this hotel, plus from the pool and the rooms you can see the pyramids. For me this was so valuable. Amazing hotel, the buffet is 24/7 and is amazing!!! The hotel itself (facilities) were very good. We had a room with pyramids view which was great. the breakfast was very good as well HOwever: we had a problem with the taxi pickup/dropoff, the company they use rips people off (always ask for a price list, they wanted to charge us for a car a couple of clases better than we got). A long discussion started, […] the manager in charge was clearly not up to the challenge. It felt like being in an Egyptian bazaar and haggling. This is NOT what one would expect from the Meridien. This hotel was an absolute disaster. We stayed in the new building which was hardly finished. The windows were still blocked off and there was a suffocating scent of paint in the air (i ask for a room swap immediately but the front desk REFUSED). The shower was so poorly designed that the water just ran into the corridor and the bedroom (the lowest […] point of the shower basin was not were the draining hole was). Two of the three lifts were broken and the workmen made a lot of noise but didn't fix them by the time we left. The staff were extremely rude and basically refuse to give you any information if they don't see any opportunities getting any commissions (e.g. we asked how do we contact the train station, reply- 'you should taxi back to Cairo'. We asked how do walk towards the pyramid, reply 'no way, we have a tour group or you can take my friend's taxi...'). Overall, this was the most unpleasant hotel experience we have ever had, really not impressed. Devamı

The hotel staff should provide the customers with slipper, tissues, etc... without request. The quality of the room and the provided services are much less than expected.

This is a great location and pleasant hotel. Room was as expected and clean and smoke free. Also, view of the Pyramids. Soon they will have an additional restaurant open that will add to the quality of your stay.

Yes for a day or two if they want to be next to the Pyramids, after, if you are more days in Cairo I would move to a more central location. The view is fun, but then if you want to go to other areas it takes some time because of the trafic.

Excellent location with view of Pyramids; room was satisfactory and cleaned every day with fresh towels. Hotel food was satisfactory and breakfast more than adequate. Consierge Service needs to do better to get taxi for departing guests rather than sending them out on the street to hail their own cab!! Good value for money was tours with guide/driver […] although they do take you to out of the way places too so that you can buy goods from their contacts! Cairo in general, everyone wanting money all the time, you are expected to pay to exit the toilets!!! Devamı

エジプトってことを考えればこんなものかと。 ピラミッド観光には近いですがホテルからピラミッドまで歩くことは普通の観光客なら無理です。（治安、客引き、交通マナーなど）商店も近くにありません。 移動はすべてホテルや旅行会社が手配したツアーや車に頼ることになります。 ピラミッド近く以外にメリットはないホテルですので、どうせ出歩けないのなら周囲に出歩くことができる他のホテルをお勧めします。

l'hôtel se situe à 15 minutes du site des pyramides. A part les pyramides il n'y a rien aux alentours. Je garde malheureusement un mauvais souvenir car j'ai oublié mon appareil photo dans ma chambre, j'ai bien évidemment demandé à l'hôtel de me le récupérer et de me le conserver car je devais revenir. Mais personne n'a vue mon appareil sauf l'emprunteur […] qui est resté muet... Devamı

ピラミッドへの距離：渋滞するということで近所のホテルを探してここを選びましたが、歩くにはちょっと距離がありました。 設備：改装中だったようで、旧館はかなり古い状態です。新館も作りかけでエレベータは１基停止ですが、ボタンを押すと開くのでつい乗ってしまいます。 インターネットは確認していませんが、おそらく別料金？wifiはありません。 結構適当なつくりですが、観光地に近いので、こんなものかもしれません。 スタッフは親切で快適に過ごせます。

Cet hôtel est le meilleur. Emplacement de rêve à 10mns à pieds des pyramides. Vue des pyramides depuis la piscine, un must !! Service parfait, chambre spacieuse et confortable, piscine fabuleuse, restauration de très bonne qualité. Le plus, peu bruyant ce qui est exceptionnel au Caire !! Je le recommande vivement !!
