My single room was as it should be a room for one person and nothing more though very functional. I missed a power point close to the wall-mounted desk. Good breakfast served early 6.30am. Always happy smiling staff allover.

Very impressed with the Grand Hotel Garden. Very central location, very modern and clean facilities, fantastic breakfast. The only thing that could have been approved would have been tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but apart from that, I can not fault it. Would thorough recommend.

I stayed one night at this hotel in January. It is on the doorstep the pedestrian shopping mall, close to squares bordered by restaurants, and steps away from the train station. Coffee was available all day in the comfortable lobby. Stay was so accommodating, helpful, and friendly. They checked me in early without hesitation. Great location in the centre of the city. Close to restaurants, shops and Central Station (few minutes walk). Room small but comfortable - anyway just sleeping there. One of the best breakfast in Malmo hotels and I know almost all of them.

The hotel was really nice. Perfect location for us as only a short walk from the railway station and right in the city centre. Breakfast was fantastic - loads of choice and enough to fill us up until late afternoon. The only downside was that our room was a little overheated at night which made it difficult to sleep. The staff was very friendly and the hotel itself beautiful. Great location and close to the heart of Malmo. When I return I wil stay there again.

Excellent value for money and very well located. Room quite small but very adequate for the 4 nights we stayed. The breakfast buffet was very good - we especially liked the waffles(!) and fresh fruit! And there was tea and coffee to help yourself to in the lobby. Would definitely go back.

The room was quite small, but it was clean and functional. Front desk staff was great - excellent English, very helpful and attentive. My toilet was broken/leaking all over the floor, but it didn't cause a flood or anything. The hotel is close to the central station and close to the shops. The buffet breakfast was very nice as well. Definitely will stay here again when I go back to Malmo.

We booked a premium room which was small than expected. As the radiator in the bathroom leaked, we were moved into another room which was bigger. The room was very cold (16C) and the heating in the room was not working. I had to wash one of the cups in the room before it was used as it was dirty. The hotel staff were very attentive though and it's close […] to the town centre. The only other issue is the car park is too small so you can't guarantee you'll get a space if you go out and then come back. Devamı

fine; the lobby computer disappeared during our stay, but we had done our business already; this is a very important feature for those traveling without cells or internet

I am now a regular at the hotel and enjoy the hotel services and staff more every time I stay. My flight from Heathrow was delayed over two hours, so I arrived for check in at 2am. My room key was ready and I had barely to break stride to check in on my way straight to bed. In the morning breakfast was busy as normal and currently there was some work […] being done to the bar downstairs in reception. It made no difference to service or tables available and the standard of breakfast was superb as always. Centrally located. Staff nice. One elevator is always open on each floor. Gym round the corner for use which was nice (seperate building). Breakfast nice. The room I was in was small, but then it came at a very good price. I'm from UK so was surprised by this business of two quilts on the bed. Apparently that happens a lot in Europe.

Amazing delicious breakfast buffet. Unfortunately evening restaurant was not open as it should have been while we stayed, which we were sad about. Great location. Staff friendly, but surprisingly lacked high level of English language skills as expected in Scandinavia. 200SEK per night for a baby cot is crazy, especially when staying several nights like […] us - bring a travel cot! We chose this hotel because it looked good on Expedia and, being about a mile from the centre of the tourist area, offered better sized rooms than some of the more central hotels. Over the duration of our stay, the hotel more than met our expectations, with a lovely room, high standard of public areas and very helpful staff. To our suprise, we discovered […] we had also chosen an Executive Room, which entitled us to the use of a private lounge offerering free drinks and snacks throughout the day. Far from "Grand". Hairdryer didn't work. No heat control in room. Very noisy from the street from 12 midnight to 2.00pm. Restaurant served only cold buffet in the evening.

Since we planned to spend some time in the room and the cheapest category appeared to be quite small on the images, we chose the bigger room category--that was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was good, room was quiet, and the hotel has a perfect location in the city, a short walk from the train station. We staid at Grand Hotel Garden Malmö for a weekend. We chooses this hotel primarily cause the central location, couple of minutes walk to the city and central station. As earlier reviews, the breakfast was good and had everything I wanted. However we had to wait to get a table and it was a bit loud noise inside the breakfast room. The rooms was also […] bit small (as earlier reviews also stated), but still ok. The bathrooms was under all critique, and looked more as a 2-star hotel bathroom (Small, and low-cost materials such as plastic mugs etc..). The service in the front-line reception was also not good for a 4-star hotel, more like a 2-star hotel. We had also to change our first room since they did not clean the first room good. Overall impression, more lika a 2 star hotel, where the rooms felt like rooms in a student corridor and poor front-line service at the reception, but still good location and comfortable beds. Devamı

Grand Hotel Garden in Malmö is not as exceptional as you might imagine from the name and the pictures, but they have that little extra that you look in vain for at many other hotels: great staff! They arranged everything we and other guests needed and always with a smile. We checked out an hour and a half late - no problem. The fact that the underdimensioned […] breakfast room got completely full with even more guests coming in, didn't disturb the staff a bit. New seats where arranged in the lobby, the bar and a bit here and there and everybody were still happy. I would certainly consider this hotel again when coming to Malmö. Devamı

Super stay at the Grand Hotel Garden. It's central, the room was excellent, staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was excellent. No negatives at all. I'd strongly recommend this hotel.

All you need, including a VERY nice breakfast. Beds are typically European, not North American standard. Good location is downtown Malmo, only a few blocks from train station (walkable). Lots of shops nearby, including a pedestrian area of several blocks.

I found this hotel to be comfortable, but lacking charm. A very good feature was the bowl of fresh fruit always in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was quite good and always well stocked. The breads were wonderful. The ambiance was perhaps very Swedish. That to me means sparsely funished rooms, with no drawers in which to put one's things. I prefer the […] charm of a few antiques and a bit more color. But for a person who likes minimalist decor, this might be a good choice of hotel, The location was very good. Devamı

Ok Hotel in relaxed atomosphere. Everything is almost self service. There's no porter to take your luggage. The bed was quite comfortable. Overall, not too bad.

We found the Grand Hotel Garden in Malmö through hotels.com and so had little prior knowledge about what to expect. At first the red carpet outside the hotel was a little worrying as we were arriving with two young children who had been in a car for 7 hours, but our worries were without foundation. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel suited […] for families and at breakfast the next morning we discovered that many other children were staying there. Located in central Malmö the hotel doesn't have its own car park, but it is surrounded by parking houses making it easy to find a nearby space. Our stay at the Grand Hotel Garden was very positive and we would stay there again if we return to the area. Devamı

We were very happy with this hotel. The convenient location was great for wandering the shopping streets and also for visiting Malmo hus. The breakfast that was provided each morning was great.
