Best Western Chateau Louisianne, All Suite Hotel - Baton Rouge

The room and hotel was very nice. We had an issue with the bathroom in our room but after calling the front desk, it was taken care of within 15 minutes. The staff was very friendly. The only possible complaint would be that the room description said that there would be a sofa bed in the room and there was not.

THE LOCATION WAS GOOD FOR ALL THE FUNCTIONS WE WENT TOO. THE STAFF WERE ALL HELPFUL AND I HAVE SENT AN E-MAIL TO THE HOSTESS ON DUTY MOST OF THE TIME DURING OUR STAY, THANKING HER FOR HER EFFORTS ON BEHALF OF MY PEOPLE.

This hotel is A GEM! A small, but reasonably priced hotel, in the Louisiana capitol, it gives one the feeling of being back in the days of the Old South. This was a real FIND.

big rooms ,clean but the carpet drags it down has that old southern charm.good breakfast.

The hotel was very nice, clean. Only issue was we thought there would be a lounge area and that was closed. People were very friendly.

My hubby n I loved this hotel. It was exactly like we thought it would be. The hotel is obviously old but in great condition. It was so cozy and cute! Looks like a piece of the French quarter :)

We stayed at the Best Western Chateau Louisianne in Baton Rouge after a trip for Mardi Gras in New Orleans. We had an early flight the next day from Baton Rouge Ryan and thought it would be wise to stay close to the airport. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and comfortable. It has a lovely lobby area reminiscent of little outdoor cafe in Paris. […] We were upgraded to a King Master Suite, probably because the hotel was pretty empty. The room was nice and big, the bed was comfortable, it had a jet bathtub and two TV's. Overall, a good place for a one night stay. It was a bit removed (10-15 drive) to nice restaurants and things to see in Baton Rouge, which contrary to our initial assumption, are not located in the Capital area but instead a bit of a drive down the road I-10 east. A fine hotel for a one-night-stay but would advise to stay closer to the downtown area to enjoy Baton Rouge activities. Devamı

We spent the weekend at this hotel. It was a wonderful and peaceful stay, eventhough our neighbors upstairs couldn't stop walking hard on the floors. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was very large and the room service was first rate.I made use of the fridge and microwave during my week long stay. I slept well every night. Breakfast was qiute good, with plenty to choose from. Not sure about the grits though, but there was plenty to choose from. On the whole it was a good experience. This hotel was wonderful. The room was a great price. The sitting area was a really nice extra, I was not expecting. The breakfast bar offered a full selection of items to please anyone. I would stay here again!

Staff was very cheerful and accommodating. Chef George in the contiguous restaurant was a fun guy and a great chef. He had my kids laughing.

I will be staying here again whenever I am in Baton Rouge! A charming hotel! The guest services were wonderful. When I arrived the TV was not working and the person at the desk immediately brought me to another room. The hotel bar is quiet. This hotel was better the first time which is why I returned. Check-in went smooth. The cleanliness of the room could have been better. It was evident that the furniture hadn't been dusted in awhile. I literally had to take clorox wipes and wipe down everything. I also had a blood stained sheet that appeared to be fres blood. I removed the sheet and […] informed the housekeeper. The housekeeper was nonchalant and took the sheet. However, the sheet was never replaced. The temperature in the room was very uncomfortable. I attempted to turn the heat on but the unit was not working properly. The unit did not blow heat or cool air. The pool area was not well kept. The water appeared dirty with numerous bugs. Hotel had a bar open at 5:00pm came down from room 5:30 no open never opened.

Great room -- clean, comfy and roomy. Definitely a good deal for the amount paid. Furthermore, I'd put this against more expensive rooms. Staff was helpful.

The hotel was very family friendly. We enjoyed our stay and the service was very good. We will definately stay at your hotel again and recommend to others.

Maintenance of the hotel is very poor. Swimming pool is dirty, room is dirty. I chose this hotel because the description showed room with sofabed, but there was not sofabed in my room.

I was so surprized. The rooms are large and well kept. the staff was amazing and I will never stay anywhere else. Very convenently located. The breakfast was great. I am cheap when it comes to staying at a hotel but this was well worth the money even my mother loved it. I considerit to be a 5 star hotel.

Wonderful stay. Nice gym and pool. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, juice, cereal and more. Highly recommend this hotel.

The only bad thing was that the air conditioning was next to the bed and it was blowing directly on us, to the point that we decided to turn it off and take the heat. Everything else was great! Overall it was adequate. I just spent the 4th of July (a Monday) there. The pool could have used some cleaning would be the only "bad" comment.

We had to park in the back which wasn't a problem, but walking back to the front, there was a mattress leaned against the building, mops hanging in the front view, and kind of a dirty parking lot with a restaurant table sitting outside. I was was very surprised to find this hotel to be so wonderful. The staff was very nice and helpful. We asked for extra towels and an extra blanket and it was delivered to our room right away. The breakfast buffet was very nice. We were expecting just danishes and coffee. But they had hot scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, waffles, fruit, cereal, coffee, […] juice, milk, water, etc. I will definitely stay here again. this was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. We booked the weekend to visit Blue Bayou Waterpark. I was very disappointed with the room the clerk gave us at first. It smelled of roach spray, We immediately asked for another room and was happy with the cleanliness of the next room. My daughter and I were sooo excited for our trip to the Bayou. We are notherners and were looking forward to some southern hospitality. We didn't get it here :( There were no smiles or happy greetings at check in. We were not even told the usual info like where the pool was, breakfast buffet... etc. The room was ok. It was clean and a nice size. But […] it was outdated. The sink drain was missing the stopper and the light in the bathroom was much to dim. The beds were old (but comfortable enough), but the boxspring did not fit into the frame correctly and it kept slipping. I really don't think the room problems would have bothered me at all if the staff had been friendlier. That really bothered us since we stayed there for 3 nights and never really saw any smiles. Atrium has nice appeal, and is the breakfast area. easy on the eyes, could be cooler. Best Waffle I ever had, clean gym, hours 7am was too late for me to use. Nice rooms, table, couch, firm bed. AC was a little noisy, never got fixed. No morning paper, seems odd for a nice place like this. Very quite neighborhood.

Check-in was extremely slow. There was one staff member and she took forever on the phones before she could get to me. I was not happy about the extra persons fee for a third person. The hotel was very comfortable. However, limited parking. Comfortable beds. But, housekeeping had to be prompted to clean our room and bring fresh towels! There is a full […] breakfast which is a plus. Restaurant and dance hall within hotel which was a plus. Didn't try the restaurant food. But, breakfast was great. Nice location. Had seen better days, room was big and clean. Breakfast was better than average. Was not located in a very convienent place for tourist activites.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Best Western in Baton Rouge. The night clerk was very willing to please me and my wife. I had booked a two-bed room instead of a single king bed. The night clerk who is also the manger said there were no more single bed rooms available but she found us a room with a single bed. A lovely room, people were very friendly and hospitable. Wasn't anything else I would ask for!

Even though the room was dated, we still had a wonderful, comfortable stay. Parking was great and the room was large and had a lot to offer. Not a top of the line hotel but definitely worth the stay. Have already recommended it to our friends.

We have stayed at this hotel before and loved it! This was our third stay. I can't say enough about how quaint and cozy it is. We love the breakfast. And the employees are very friendly. My kids love this hotel and it is very family friendly. We will return again in a few months.
