BEST WESTERN CHATEAU SUITE HTL - Shreveport

I stay at this hotel all the time. It is old but in very good condition. Location is nearby everything downtown.

The hotel has very good service staff. The breakfast was very good. Overall, this is a very nice choice for downtown shreveport.

This hotel was located downtown but the hotel was old and walls were thin. The towels had stains on them, old light fixtures that buzzed when you turned them on. They had flat screen TVs but no HD reception... so why have the flat screens with a bad picture. Breakfast was ok but very crowded and they didn't have enough people working to handle the crowd. […] There were tables available but no one to clean them off for the next person. I would not recommend stay if you are not use to old hotels. The staff at the hotel desk were very friendly but too bad the rooms are outdated. Devamı

Had a wonderful experience. Close to the casinos, will highly recommend to anyone and we will definately return. Staff was very curtious and breakfast was awesome! And right down the street from the Mardi Gras Parade!

Overall our stay was good. The biscuit & gravy at breakfast was on point. Have a nice work out in the health center. I would stay there again, ya dig!!!

The hotel is old. It was pretty clean but the old carpet and dark walls in the halls reminded me of a 1940's hotel. The rooms are updated though small by today's standards. Very comfortable beds. The country breakfast was a pleasent change from "continental breakfasts" at many hotels. Not a bad stay for the money. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The price was exceptionally good considering that it included breakfast and an evening drink. It would have been even better if I would have had my wife with me as she would have gotten breakfast and a drink too. Based on average costs that would amount to about 1/3 off the price. Clean room, comfortable, and free wi-fi

The main thing this hotel has going for it is location. I do wish they would have told me that my card would have a hold that was almost 70 dollars more that the cost of the room on it until payment clears BEFORE they ran it. Also, we found a dirty hand towel in our room.

My wife, three young children, and I stayed at this hotel on our way to the Mississippi Gulfport region. Overall, the hotel is older, but has charm. The lobby area has staircase banisters and paintings are elegant, and the hotel staff were very friendly. The room was a bit disappointing with respect to its condition - it'd seen the effects of time and […] needs to be renovated. The beds were sufficient and may vary depending on your comfort level. The full breakfast was fantastic - my kids didn't complain about needing food until late in the afternoon. Overall, we got more than paid for and the room served its purpose. Devamı

Went for a girls weekend. Could not have been a better experience. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of. We used all the perks. Poolside was great, towels were always available. The shuttle driver was very knowledgable and friendly. We parked and never moved the car until the weekend was complete. I've stayed at this hotel previously three years ago. It wasn't the W but for Shreveport it was decent. I am unsure if new management is the issue but this hotel had an odor throughout the rooms and hallways. It's really true( as stated in other reviews) the water doesn't get hot, the sink did not drain in our room, and the bathtub was old and filthy […] looking. It seems as though they also rent rooms for a few hours also which seems to attract different types of people. All in all very different than last time and I would NEVER stay there again. Devamı

Walking distant to several casinos,but do have a shuttle but closes at 10;00 P.M.-Old Hotel but still quite comfortable and with large rooms(Suites).Bar on site with buffet breakfast.

I have stayed here before and didn't have any problems but this time we didn't have any hot water. The shower was huge but no matter how long it was on the water would not get warm.

If you are headed to Shreveport for any Mardi Gras activities or even casino fun you can't beat this hotel for location. It's clean and safe and the suite rooms are very roomy with full kitchens! Perfect for families visiting Shreveport -

We arrived at the hotel and were told our reservations had been canceled. They had no explanation for this. After several minutes, they finally offered us a suite but at a higher price. The hotel was lovely and centrally located to downtown Shreveport. Our eventual accommodations were very nice, but it's very disconcerting to arrive at your destination […] and be told your reservations have been canceled for no apparent reason and then be charged more for a room that you anticipated. Although my room was not ready, it made for a great conversation piece in the bar area, where 5 other couples were waiting. It appears they do not have enough staff, to ready the rooms between stays. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Not a bad stay for the price.
