Sonesta Posada del Inca has an amazing location, but having in mind the altitute of Cuzco itself, the lack of elevator may be a problem. Rooms are ok, we got 2 types, a two twin bed room that was very good and a queen size bed room that had absolutely no space for anything. Beds were good in size, but matters need a change. It is a very nice hotel and very well located, 2 blocks from the Main Square (Cathedral) where most of the action is. The staff is amazing, very helpful. They have a good buffett breakfast (do not expect too much though, bread, toast, cheese, ham, yogurts, juices and some cereal, milk, coffee). Sonesta is a good hotel with a great location (walking distance from main plaza in Cusco). Its clean, comfortable and with a hospitable staff. I would recommend it to someone looking for a comfortable stay in Cuzco and within walking distance to main plaze (downtown Cuzco).

Since I had planned to return to Cusco soon, I had decided to try a couple of different hotels to see which one I liked the best for future reference. I'll write detailed reviews of the other two shortly. This hotel was good. The location was on a square just behind the main plaza with the old cathedrals so a perfect location. There was plenty of […] hot water and towels, but no water bottles in the room. This is a big oversight because as a rule I recommend that tourists don't even rinse their toothbrushes in the tap water. This is the oldest city in the Americas and the water systems match - probably no issue on the better hotels but I had a friend who was laid low by the water in Cusco a few years ago so why even take the chance? Other than no water in the room, everything else was in order. The internet was in room, easy to access and fast. The TV was sufficient and functional with both english and spanish channels. It is a good value for the money, as the price I paid through hotels.com was a bit more than a third of the price of the hotels rack rate. Strongly recommend. Devamı

Nice Hotel. Well run. Free Wifi. Clean, comfortable room. Stayed at the front of the hotel and didn;t hear any noise from a nightclub or bars. Occasional rowdy drinkers were overheard but that was to be expected as the hotel is so close to the squares and shopping. Overall a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was good and served extra early from 5 am onwards […] which was helpful as we were up early two of the days at 5.00am before walking to Machu Picchu or getting an early flight. very nice staff, courteous with good English and nice helpful attitudes. We had such a wonderful time at Sonesta Posada Yucay. We stayed for 8 nights and took day trips. Based on our guidebook, we requested room 312, which has 4 windows with amazing mountain views. The staff gets to know you by name. Guancarlos and Erwin are great waiters. As vegetarians, we often had to request items not on the menu, such as Peruvian vegetable […] fried rice -- called Arroz Chaufa. The hotel is in a small town with few restaurants, so you will eat a lot in the hotel restaurant. Urubamba is nearby with a great pizza/pasta restaurant called The Green House. There is a beautiful walk/hike that goes into the hills behind the hotel following an old waterway, called an acequia. Ask at the hotel for directions. Conception, who works in the Seminario ceramics gift shop at the hotel, knows a lot about the area too. Devamı

This hotel is in absolutely the perfect location: around the corner from the Plaza De Armas, so you are 2 steps from absolutely everything, yet it is quieter. We liked this hotel so much that we added on days after returning from Machu Pichu and after a trip to the jungle, and each time the staff held luggage for us and was ready with a key immediately […] upon our return. We stayed 3 separate times for a total of 7 days. The entire staff is helpful and pleasant and the hotel is small enough that being part of a chain does not interfere with the individualized service for guests. Great breakfasts are included and the rooms are very comfortable with extra blankets and pillows, uncommon in Peruvian hotels. The beds and linens are high quality, and windows have black-out curtains for those who like to sleep in. If we ever return to Peru/Cusco, we would certainly stay here again. Devamı

Every one at the hotel was friendly and very helpful and polite. The front desk staff made my stay a pleasure. They found a room for me so I could sleep for a few hours even though my plane landed early in the morning and check in time was hours away. I arrived during Inti Raymi, the most celebrated festival in Cuzco, and I had a room with a view, which […] also meant noise, but I was prepared with earplugs, so I had the best of both worlds: A fabulous view because of the hotel's great location, and a comfortable, clean, and safe place to rest. Be aware that local calls cost US$0.45 per minute. There's also a charge per minute for calling toll free numbers. There are many local public phones to make these calls on Avenue Sol. This hotel is located adjacent to the main plaza in town, the Plaza de Armes. Two of the major churches are right around the corner as well as an alleyway with a great example of Inca stone work. La Meson is a restaurant located next to the plaza with excellent food at a reasonable price. There is a grocery store next to the hotel also. ME GUSTO EL HOTEL, SU ATENCION, UBICACION, SERVICIO. UNICAMENTE LA SALIDA QUE ES A LAS 9AM, CREO QUE ES LA UNICA OCASION EN MIS VIAJES QUE ME ENCONTRADO CON ESTA HORA, DEMASIADO INCOMODO. MUNDIALMENTE SE ESTILA ENTRE LAS 11 Y LAS 2.

El personal es sumamente amable y atento. La habitacion era pequeña pero correcta. Lo unico malo es que no funcionaba la conexion wireless y el baño no tenia bañera. Otra cosa que deberian mejorar es el servicio de desayuno que otros años era muy superior. A las 8:30 ya habian levantado las mesas a pesar de que el horario era hasta las 9 y solo servian […] 2 clases de frutas, algo de pan y cereales. La ubicacion es excelente y tiene seguridad 24 hs. Lo más importante en Cusco es la ubicación, porque las calles suben y bajan y el oxigeno falta por la altura. El hotel es bueno si van a habitación superior, pero la ubicación define ir a ese hotel.

La ubicación es inmejorable y en un lugar como Cusco, eso es lo más importante, porque las calles suben y bajan y se siente mucho la falta de oxigeno si para ir hasta la plaza, hay que hacer aunque sea una cuadra hacia arriba. El hotel es muy bueno si te dan la habitación superior. Eso había comprado y la primera noche me dieron una standard. Reclamé […] y me cambiaron al día siguiente. Muito bem localizado, muito limpo, funcionários muito gentis. Se voltar, fico no mesmo hotel.

No era una habitación no fumadores. No se realizó el traslado al aeropuerto como estaba convenido. No se limpió un día la habitación...no pernoctamos 2 noches (PUNO Y A CALIENTES).SE NOS COBRÓ 2 AGUAS 6 U$S CUANDO LOS VALORES EN CUSCO SON EN SOLES. NO ME IMPRIMIERON EL CHECK IN como pasó en otros hoteles.

ótima localização, próximo de tudo em cusco, café da manhã excelente, serviço de quarto (pratos) ótimos, atendimento nota 10. Vale a pena.

Excellent Staff. Rooms could be bigger and bathrooms should be renovated. Restaurant and breakfast very good. Good location, near Plaza de Armas. Sttrongly recommended

La posizione dell'albergo è perfetta, e se siete nell'unica suite (che a noi hanno dato senza aver chiesto, probabilmente per over-booking) avrete una vista mozzafiato sulla piazza principale. Anche se suite (per intenderci, l'unica che si vede nelle foto), però, attenzione agli scalini e al bagno "unconfortable"
