The hotel is fantastic! Big room, modern and very clean! Nice breakfast! The views are amazing! The hotel is on the top of the mountain, in Beantenberg, over looking Interlaken down in the valley and the Jungfrau in the opposition direction. I really enjoued staying there.

Utterly fantastic. I wish I could sell my house and retire there permanently,( not that the hotel is a retirement community opportunity) ,but it was that special and nice a stay, and the spa was first rate! Breakfast was to die for!

Stunning views, excellent staff & beautiful spa. Need a car to get to the hotel which is perched high on the mountain above Interlaken & Untersee...but well worth the drive.

Just looked at this hotel by chance and we are very glad we did. Out of Interlaken so you need to have a car or catch the bus. The Hotel high up on the side of the mountain at Beatenberg overlooks Lake Chun and the great peaks of the Eiger and Jungfrau, simply stunning. We were on the 14th floor, reached by the lift to the 13th floor and then walk up […] the stairs. Top room with a kitchenette (CHF 10 to access) that was warm and spacious. The decor is becoming dated yet still very presentable but a referb would just make this hotel. The checkin was very easy and the staff only too willing to help. Breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold servings. There is a small supermarket 50m up the street, prices are a little expensive but it is an out of the way location. It works well if you want to avoid the expensive prices of all Swiss restraunts and for that matter everywhere else. Would I go back...... at the drop of a hat. Everything about the hotel is good and they have quite a number of facilities...breakfast is good... Hotel has a balcony with amazing view of the mountains and lake... Only flaw is that hotel location is very far away from city by bus...and bus ride us not cheap...I will suggest to drive a car instead

I have stayed at this hotel many times. A large room, knockout view with an unsurpassed breakfast. If you read down, you will read a review that described this as off of the beaten path in the middle of no place. Hey folks, this is Switzerland. If you want to be in the middle of "somplace", go to NYC. This is in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, which […] is one of the most desireable places in Switzerland. Take a copy of your breakfast placemat and identify the mountains that you see from your balcony. The Eiger, Monch, Jungfrau and the Schilthorn, which is illuminated, with a beacon, at night at the restaurant Piz Gloria. If you are already in love with Switzerland, or want to fall in love with Switzerland, spend a few nights at this hotel. Devamı

This Hotel was the Best Hotel we stayed in during our three week Holiday. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we required. There was a fridge in the room, coffee in the room, ice machines near by, good hair dryer, up-dated room, free internet, air conditioning that worked and friendly staff. Staff very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Surrounding scenery is stunning.

Myself, mywife and two Kids ended up in this hotel as it says in net about 2.9 miles away from Interlakin but never thought its about 25-30 minutes drive up high in the mounatin. Although I dont feel comfortable with hights, the hotel is away from any supermarkets, food choices or any close by freindly spots for family needs. Besides, the hotel's staff […] are not so friendly with the toursits guests knowing for sure they would show up once there in a lifetime as they seem to have their own regional customers. The net is wifi in lobby and free but you can not use as it is extremely slow from the traffic (too many users in the loby). There is also a probem with the electrecity outlets and suffecient adaptors in the hotel to meet their unprepared customers with this surprise. The room has two stories and the stairs may not be safe for a family with hyperactive kids (too narrow, too twisted). No room service. No grocery Close by. You are stuck up high specially when you are with kids. Defenitely not a choice for me and my family again. Devamı

The view from the room was simply fabulous.The room size was very big and enough for 3 people.The staff was very helpful and efficient, one waiter was especially good in the restaurant , who explained the whole menu to me in English from the German one, and in detail. The only con; about 35 minutes from the Interlaken West station by bus, ask for the […] stop Hubel, it cost me approx 2.9 chf with my swiss pass at 50% discount . Recommended. Devamı

This hotel was so great we considered spending the rest of our trip there. Fabulous balcony view of lakes and mountains made the 1/2 hour bus trip up from Interlaken sensible. Not convienient to running up and down to Interlaken but a wonderful stay put place. ( beautiful pool and saunas, and workout facility -great restaurant.)

Excelent Hotel, great view, far from interlaken

The hotel building is divided to several building the access to the other buildings was not convenient. The room is large but the kitchen which is in the room is closed , meaning no tea or coffee maker that you expect from 4 stars hotel.

the location may be a little out of interlaken but the views were stunning and well worth the travel. The hotel made our stay we had looked forward to as a suprise birthday treat. all in all 5 stars.

location is far from interlaken center. takes about 20 minutes by car. number of employees in hotel not enough. no porter to carry bags even though the hotel is 4 stars. number of parkings is small. no nearby restaurants. hotel restaurant offer limited choices.

Fantastic location with awesome views over Lake Thun and views to the mountains, very friendly and helpful staff, menus were European and we needed help with translation. Easy access to all must see places of interest, picturesque walks. Downside but not that important the hotel does not have a terrace bar over looking the lake to relax in the evenings […] but this can be facilitated at the hotel next door and visitors were encouraged to share the facilities offered between the hotels. This hotel had great reviews so we had high expectations to begin with. The room itself was two floors, bed and bath on one floor and kitchen, living room, and balcony on the first floor. The room was very clean and the service from all of the employees was great. Since we only stayed for two nights our kitchen was locked. The restaurant is expensive […] so we made our own meal in the room using hot water that the restaurant gave us. I suppose if you stayed longer they would unlock the kitchen and you could cook whatever you want. The only negative things about this hotel is that it is about 30 minutes by bus to Interlaken West costing several francs each way per person and that it's in the middle of nowhere. The upside of this is that the bus stops right across from the hotel. During our stay the weather was a little overcast s we didn't get the view that you see all the pictures of. Beware of the shower, ours wasn't sealed and the water flooded the bathroom and flowed down to the first floor! Devamı

The view from the room is unbelievable. The restaurant is Ok with good service but the price of the buffet is much higher than expected. We drove to the hotel relying on a GPS system. Without that, it would be difficult to find among the winding roads. Getting to Interlaken takes a while driving but the view is terrific. The hotel does not have air […] conditioning and probably don't need it for most of the days except for the few very hot days we were there! Te staff is not particlarly friendly and everything posted is in German. Overall, it's a nice, pleasant place to stay but you better have a car. Devamı

eine nette offene und herzliche Belegschaft begrüsste uns, kaum Schweizer, aber viele nette Deutsche. Ein vorzügliches Essen, eine schöne Wellnessanlage, ein toller Ausblick - bei uns mit schönstem Wetter. Einfach ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Erholen.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön gelegen vis a vis der berner Alpenkulisse. Das Hotel liegt 10 Gehminuten von der Niederhornstation und mit dem Postauto ist es in 3 Min. erreichbar. (Gratis Shuttle mit der Gästekarte) In der Lobby gibt es am Abend eine gute Stimmung zwischen den Gästen und dem Personal. Das Frühstückbuffet ist toll mit einer Wahnsinnssicht […] über den Thunersee mit all den Bergen. Sehr zu empfehlen ob alleine od verliebt, jung od alt mit Teenies od Babys. Es lohnt sich. Devamı

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt, sehr freundliche und herzliche Bedienung aber trotzdem nicht aufdringlich. Zwei Nächte so richtig zum auftanken. Erholung pur und das Essen liess keine Wünsche offen. Eher entäuschend für diese Preiskategorie waren Schlafsofas für die Kinder statt richtigen Betten. Somit existierte keine bequeme Sitzgelegenheit […] vor dem TV. Die Betten (vermutlich Ikea) waren für meinen geschundenen Rücken eher unangenehm, was aber im gratis Wellnesbereich wieder kompensiert wurde. Mehr Kissen wären wünschenswert gewesen, wir hatten aber nicht darum gebeten. (Wäre bestimmt kein Problem gewesen). Im Wellnesbereich gab es genügend Badetücher, die man einfach nehmen konnte, ebenso wurde jeder Person ein Bademantel und Badelatschen zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Hallenbad war optimal. Sehr sauber und gut dosierte Chlor Beigaben begeisterten uns genauso wie die Sauberkeit in den Saunen und dem Dampfbad. Für die Kinder wurden gratis Freizeiteinrichtungen wie Kegeln, Billard und Ping-Pong sowie ein Spielzimmer mit Animation zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Hotel entsprach zwar nicht unserem täglichen Preisniveau war aber durchaus jeden Franken wert. Entgegen unserer Gewohnheit , nie zweimal am gleichen Ort zu logieren, werden wir wohl hier eine grosse Ausnahme machen, sobald wir es uns wieder leisten können. Ein grosses Lob und Dankeschön an das Hotelmanagement und an das gut geschulte, freundliche Personal. Vielen Dank und hoffentlich bis bald. Devamı

die Möbel und Betten waren OK aber befürfen einer Aktualisierung. Bäder perfekt, Hotelservice sehr gut, Restaurant sehr gut, Umgebumg genial.

It's a very nice hotel especially the rooms with the Alps and lake view. However the food in the restaurant is very disapomtrd with such expensive price and the attitude of the manager was very bad, the waitress was very friendly though. We stayed in the hotel for two nights and had dinner in the reastaurant for the first night. The manager claimed […] that all tables at the window side were booked and he put us in a dark corner (when he said that he was in ap very tone). However the whole night (we stuck in the dark corner until 10:00 pm) all window side tables were empty. Devamı

L'aspect extérieur de l'hotel n'est pas très attirant et ne cadre pas trop avec le décor, mais une fois au 14è étage (dernier étage sans ascenseur par contre), la vue sur le lac de Thoune et sur les montagnes fait tout oublier! Quelle vue magnifique!!!! Le personnel est très avenant et vraiment très sympathique, et très à l'écoute. Le restaurant "le […] Stubli" propose de bons petits plats régionaux, surtout les rösti et la fondue. Je recommande cet hotel pour ceux qui veulent vraiment du dépaysement et une vue imprenable. Très bon hôtel, calme, belle vue, propre et bien entretenu, personnel très aimable et serviable. Seul regret : durant notre séjour (du 1er au 3 avril) les membres du personnel ne parlaient que l'allemand et l'anglais.

Hôtel très acceuillant, chambre et restaurant avec une vue splendide sur les montagnes et le lac. Espace détente avec salle de fitness, piscine, sauna... très appréciable.

Tres bon hotel service parfait ! vue superbe ! mais excentré (15/20 minutes d'interlaken, 1H de Grindelwald).

A very nice hotel, with a magnificent view and a service minded staff. Recommended for those who would like to relax after meetings in Bern and ski in the area. It takes 25 minutes to the ski resort, so you will need a car.

Vi var to familier med barn på 4,6,8 og 10 år, og alle stor trivdes på dette hotellet. Flotte rom, veldig god mat, basseng og alt som forventet og mer til. God og vennlig service. Tilrettelagt med storskjerm og flagg ifm fotball VM. Delikat sauna område. I det hele tatt et komplett opphold. Vi hadde bil, så at det lå et kvarter utenfor Interlaken gjorde […] ingenting for oss. Går buss også hele dagen. For øvrig utrolig mye å gjøre i området rundt om sommeren, og to dager var for liten tid. Devamı
