Wyndham Cabo San Lucas Resort - Cabo San Lucas

Yes it's not on the beach but it was perfect for 12 guys on a bachelor party. Centrally located to the Marina. Perfect for fishing and boating as well.

Great location. Very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Shuttle service to airport was cheap and convenient.

It would be better if WiFi would be available in all the rooms. Hotel is great, I would stay there again.

We only stayed here one night because we had reservations elsewhere but we were sad to have to leave this hotel because it is perfectly located to do anything you want in Cabo. If you rent a car you can park there for free (validation required). The only downfall of this hotel is its restaurant. The food is WAY overpriced and terrible plus if you eat […] there in the morning be prepared to be in line with students (didn't bother us but others were annoyed). You can walk the marina or go a little inland and have wonderful food for a fraction of the price. Devamı

I would stay here again mostly for the location. Otherwise the hotel was fairly good. The showers were pretty bad though.

We have a timeshare in Cabo, but wanted to come in a day early. So we booked one night at the Wyndham. It is in a great location right on the marina. We checked in at the front desk. they told us to go around the corner of the lobby and take the elevator to the fifth floor. It truly ended up being in another building across the alley. No one was there […] to direct you. Very difficult to find the room! When we found the room, it was a long flight of narrow stairs to take five very large, heavy suitcases up. The safe would not close and it took that two hours to figure it out while we waited to put things in it so we could go to dinner. There was a huge blood? stain on the bedspread. Gross! The floors had dust bunnies all over the place. Not a good experience at all! I am surprised that they Wyndham would want their name on this establishment! Devamı

We have stayed there for 5 nights and We did like it. The bed especially was very comfortable. Our marina front balcony was not offering the best view, as it was significantly blocked by the corner of another part of the hotel. However, we did enjoy staying on it. The hotel was fantastic, within walking distance to everything. My only complaint is when we checked in they gave us a huge runaround and charged us extra for our room then what we booked it for. They would not give us the keys until we paid the extra money. Other than that we were very happy.

water pressure was low and the water was not hot

They say kids stay free but the free breakfast doesn't extend to them. What? Yeah sorting that out ruined my morning and required me paying extra to get my kids resort wrist bands. Also, the rooms are small. Think king size bed with a few feet on each side of it.

I missed my cruise ship departure and needed a place to stay to wait for their arrival in Cabo. This hotel is perfectly located near the cruise ship pier and was only a $15 shuttle ride from the airport. The free breakfast was delicious too! We may skip the cruise and just stay here next year!

We had 3 rooms at this hotel and all 3 were dingy, dirty with multiple things (fan/lights) not working. The views were all of a broken tile rooftop. The other folks staying at the hotel that I knew, bought the all inclusive plan for which they were nickle and dimed with add ons. The all inclusive did NOT include the water and beverages they snuck into […] our fridge the day after we checked in. They required us all to wear a bracelet full time just to access the elevator and then sign for absolutely everything we ate and/or drank. They eyeballed us constantly to see how much we consumed as if they were counting our drinks and food items. You could order off the menu for lunch and dinner as long as it wasnt shrimp or steak, for which they charged extra. I would never stay at this place again - nor recommend it to anyone. Devamı

We recently spent three night at the Wyndham Hotel and had a good time. Our room was small, with a king size bed, and the price was right. It was clean and had most of the features needed. We decided to end our vacation on the Baha by getting a room at the Wyndham. Checking in was a bit of a problem, we had requested a Marina view and they did not provide it, however it was rectified quickly, after we stated what was requested. The breakfast buffet was good, which was included in the cost. We liked the area as it had lots of things going […] on. The only problem was trying to get to beaches, you had to take a water taxi. I must also say the room was in need of updating which we were advised was happening next year. We were in the old bldg. There was also only luke warm water, no matter what time of day you wanted to shower or wash your face. They try and get you to do a time share seminar, we chose not to, and they did not bother us again, which was thankful, at least there was no real pressure on that item. All in all a good place to stay, try to get in the new tower not the old one, and hopefully they do something with the heating of their water. Devamı

The location is excellent, you are close to the marina with all of its restaurants and activities, as well as local flea markets and shops, with OXXO across the street where you can get all the necessities. The room is not very big, but has all you will need: fridge, safe, comfortable bed, WiFi, big enough bathroom, balcony and incredible view at the […] marina. The only problem is the size of the hotel: it is huge and couple times I got lost in its corridors. Some rooms have steep stairs to get to them, so make sure you ask at the front desk. The breakfast was included at the Agave Azul Restaurant and it was reasonable, with regular hot dishes as well as fruit, juice, pastry selection. This was nice for those days when you want to start your day early, eat at the marina and be the first on the boats going to all the attraction spots. Devamı

Affordable Hotel with perfect location. We stayed in a room that overlooked the Marina and walking distance to everything.

Very Friendly Staff, Older hotel Marina Location allowing to walk to shops, plenty of good places to eat and party. Shallow Pool NEEDS attention, there is a large pool deck for sunning. No Beech but they provide transportation to one. Overall good value.

When we first arrived they gave us a room that was very small and not what we booked on hotels.com After my boyfriend expressed a dislike as it looked like a dingy room overlooking walls(no view but brick walls) , it was a full bed when I booked a King etc....they immediately changed our room to what we had booked if not better- overlooking the Marina. […] So my advice is to book those rooms. As it is night and day in accomadations The staff was very sweet and helpful but we also did not know it was a time share as well so they asked a few times if we wanted to see property when all i wanted was a vacation as I had never been. We went on a 7 day cruise and decided to stay one night at this hotel. It was a wonderful idea and we got to bar hop a little in the night scene. The brunch in the morning at the resturant was also a great plus. I would definetly recommend this hotel and I would go back again.

The best feature of this hotel was its central location. It's right on the Marina, in the middle of town. You can walk to almost everywhere. The room we had was small and simple, but comfortable and clean. Ours was on the "City view" side. This means there was some street noise when the balcony door was open, but we had no trouble sleeping. They have […] a pre-scheduled shuttle van back to the airport, which was a big help. Enjoyed our last two days here, had a great view of the bustling marina and the city area. Hotel was very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The complementary breakfast was excellent and the open patio for dining afforded us a good view of the marina at a lower level. Will come back to this hotel in the future.

If you want a cheap not so clean place to stay, this is your place.... the door was hanging open when we woke up but the staff had no idea why... the buffet was questionable but since cabo is a party town this is probably a great place for the young and not so picky... if your budget is better, go somewhere nicer if possible. the hotel has been under […] different ownership many times in the last few years so it needs time to re establish a good rep, unfortunately it doesn't appear that it's happened yet..... Everything at the hotel was great. Their service was amazing. Very curteous people there and very honest. I was very pleased with the price and service. The only problem was the beds were a little uncomfortable and the hot water for the shower wasn't hot enough. But for the price it was great. I stayed in the hotel for a short, 2-day visit. I have been to Cabo many times before but what appealed to me about this hotel was the location relative to where I was going to be hanging out. The short story is the hotel was average in every sense of the word. Not great but not bad. It is evident that it is an older building. I heard from locals that […] it changed ownership a couple of times in recent years. The room was sort fo small, clean but it had a couple of minor problems. For instance, the television did not work the first day. The water pressure in the shower was below average. And the outside lock on the door required several swipes with my room card and sometimes more in order to get in. All-in-all, it was okay for the price. Devamı

For the price I can't complain. It was right on the marina which was useful for the early morning water activities. It is also close to many restaurants and bars. They want you to wear a hotel bracelet for security purposes, but you can just keep it in your pocket instead. The room was clean and comfortable and I would stay there again.

The location of this hotel is excellent, since it is right by the marina and walking distance from restaurants and nightlife. The condition of the hotel is good. Well maintained and clean. My one big problem with this hotel, and I think it is just unacceptable, is that daily visitation hours are over at 7pm. I do not believe that any paying hotel guest […] should be restricted on who he can bring to the room they are staying in. This is Cabo San Lucas, not some compound in a war-torn country. People go to Cabo to enjoy themselves and meet others on vacation. It should be expected that some guests may want to have visitors. I was denied a visitor on one night during my most recent stay and therefore had to sit outside the hotel for a few hours while suspicious-looking people or security, or military soldiers, walked by inquire what I was doing outside. Like I was doing something wrong. All I wanted todo was enjoying some drinks on my balcony while taking in the quiet view and cool night breeze with friend. But not at this hotel. If you're comng to Cabo to have fun, let loose, and welcome any fun possilities, do not stay at this hotel. Find one with no bracelet policy, or where you can at least get a bracelet for an additional guest. Hotels are for vacationers, it shouldn't be run like a fortress. Security is important, but an identified guest should be able to vocuh for his company. I was surprised to see this in Cabo. Devamı

Everything was great, but when i booked the room, i was supposed to get the breakfast included for 2 adults & 1 child (Age 9) & when i checked in, they told me the breakfast wasnt included for my daughter, just for the adults, and any breakfast is like 12 usd even for a 9 year old, for basically french toast and milk or juice, i was pretty mad about […] that, so i would love if you could double check that, because in hotels.com website it says BREAKFAST INCLUDED, it never specified "Not for children" or nothiing like that. We stayed at the Wyndham for 1 night. It's in a good location, in the Marina. Since this Wyndham used to be another resort everyone kept referring to it as the Terrosol. The room we stayed in was not in the main building, it was across the street, around the corner, up some stairs, etc . . . Bottom line, if you need a clean, hotel room, this is the […] place to be. The price was right and the location was good. We didn't realize that breakfast came wth the room, and had made plans for breakfast with friends, so we didn't have the experience. This Hotel was an excellent deal that included breakfast and parking. One of the nicest rooms we had ever stayed at for the price.

The air conditining did not work. You can imagine Los Cabos in July, 90°+. In spite of two visits from the maintenance staff they did not get any fresh air to come out of the system. Also the ceiling fan did not work.We should have changed rooms as they offered. If you have any problem make the change!

Hola!! My stay at this terrific property proved to be a great choice for my 5 day stay. I had a room over-looking the marina...it was lovely. The rooms are comfy/cozy, just perfect, though the bed could've been a bit more comfortable. (When I was leaving, it appeared they were switching out mattresses.....I knew ahead of time the bed would probably […] be a little uncomfortable, according to the reviews I read...so that's good news about the beds!). The hotel has a decent continental breakfast for those that include it w/their stay; there is a restaurant where the pool is located; again, the meals are okay. I have to say I ventured out and found better places along the way where you could have a great breakfast or lunch. I have to tout La Dolce...don't miss a meal there before you leave; it was fantastic! Also, for breakfast, Senor Sweets on the marina....it was to die for as well. For great drinks, decent prices, go to Rips, located below Wabo Cabo. Can't miss with this place at all!! So as you can see, staying at the Wyndham is THE place to stay....you would think staying in the heart of downtown CABO would be too much, but it's not....it turned out to be just the right place. The hotel location was excellent for all sight seeing and restaurants also night entertainment. Staff at hotel was helpful and friendly.The View from hotel room was beautiful overlooking marina. I would recommend staying at this hotel 100%.

The employees were nice and helpful and the food wasn't bad at all. The bed itself was horrible, it was hard as a brick and the room was extremely small. I would not recommend this type of room to a friend

The Wyndham Cabo San Lucas is in a great location. Downtown Cabo is in walking distance. You're right on the marina and can take water taxi's. Its surrounded by restaurants and shops. The down side is if your in the old part of the resort. Its very dark at night but they do have 24 hour security. The property is well maintained. The rooms can be […] a little noisy from the marina while the party boats are out and bars open. Its gets pretty quiet around 11 p.m. Which for us wasn't a big deal. The check in was fast and friendly. Although they did try to sell us on the time share but you will find that every where in Cabo. All in in all it was a good stay there. We fully enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham in Cabo. Excellent service, excellent location. Exceptional service in the restaurant--very friendly employees. Highly recommend staying there!

The room was nice, and we the harbor side had a great view from the top floor. The Internet connection was very slow but not very expensive. The hotel was very well located with all the conveiniences very near.

Very clean facilities, free parking with security, a short walk to all clubs, shops and of course boat trips. Although not a wide variety, they have very good food and drinks but If you don't have a meal plan it's overpriced. The only thing this hotel has going for them is the excellent location. Yes, it's clean but very deserted. That's good (I guess). I was looking for a more livelier place. Didn't use restaurant, bar or pool. It just wasn't inviting. Biggest downfall was we were required to wear wristbands during our stay. A $100 fee if they were lost or taken off prior […] to departure. I have been coming here since 1990 when It was named The Plaza Las Glorias. Nice remodel on the pool.
