Very busy hotel with a significant party going on but the noise didn't carry to my room so had a good night's sleep.

This hotel was just a case of "you get what you pay for." I had a meeting the following day near the hotel, so in that regards it was convenient. A bit dated in need of a refurb, evening meals far too expensive, hence no one used the dining room for dinner. Try the steakhouse in walking distance

Good value option if you just need somewhere to sleep as the beds are very comfortable however the condition of the rooms are a bit run down (especially the bathroom). Good location if you need to be close to the M1.

Hotel very convenient for motorway M1 & East midlands Airport. Good size room and sound insulation v good - considering proximity to M1. Room a little dated & worn but staff very efficient & helpful. More a business or tourist en route hotel rather than a leisure Hotel - but v good for that purpose.

The managers went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that me and my 17month old son had everything we needed and other customers as far as I could see, The staff were polite and helpful, and the cleaners couldn't do enough. When my son threw up over his bed in the night, The night staff even came and cleaned and replaced the bedsheets without […] even blinking or kicking up a fuss and even told the morning staff so they made sure he was ok in the morning. Chose hotel because it was mid-way on my journey and very cheap between Christmas and New Year. Close to the M1, but double glazing and secondary glazing combined killed any noise (windows closed!). Good bar. Did not try food. The hotel is dated and stucco plaster on bedroom wall is unpleasant to bump into, in the middle of the night.

Good value and easy to access hotel for wheelchair users. Friendly staff. Room decor a little 'tired', but comfortable. Would use again if similar bargain room rate was available.

arrived and was greeted with a friendly member of staff on reception.although there were approx 3 xmas parties going on we had a very peaceful stay .we decided to dine out as the menu was too pricey..would stay again and if they had a cheaper food menu we would have stayed for a meal. altogether a great stay.

This hotel is tired the carpets in the hallways are wornout, Whilst the bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable the room lacked privacy and the seperate toilet was unpleasant in its condition.the main bar area was not clean and some of the seats were quite stained. unfortunately we were quite disappointed.

Very clean, well appointed room. Excellent breakfast Free parking Two minutes from the M1 Excellent value for money (at the rate I paid) Will use this hotel again, especially at these prices.

Good hotel and location; welcoming especially with two small children

We had 2 adjoining rooms for our family of 5 - comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful - kids were offered free cuddly toys - and cost of breakfast was very reasonable (Offer rate of £8/adult with kids at no charge) for the buffet style cooked breakfast. We had nice weather, so the outdoor heated pool was was really handy. Would stay again.

The Hotel is convenient for access to the M1 and has a large car park and therfeore no problems encountered in this respect. The rooms was large but quite dated and in need of some renovation, particularly the walls, stairways and carpets in the hallways and room.

The hotel has the necessities but no more. It's quite out of the way if you're visiting or working in Nottingham, and rush hour traffic from there into the centre can make it a long trip. The furnishings and especially carpet were tired and uninspiring. Perhaps most disappointing was the price of the food. We used it as a stop over for visiting relatives. The hotel reception/bar area is lovely, but as others have said the rooms are dire. They have amazing potential because they are lovely and big but so out of date. The separate toilet was awful and felt so confined, it felt like an outside pub toilet! We had a very pleasant stay and the staff were very helpful. It was on a late room deal but the standard was just as good.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in July 2010 with my husband, baby and 2 dogs. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room itself was plenty big for our needs and the fact that we were bringing both a baby and dogs had been noted on our account so they arranged a gound floor level room with easy access away from other guests. The only […] problem I had was having to explain again and again that the room was pre-paid. The hotel receptionist tried to charge me on arrival and then tried to charge again on exit. It didn't take long to sort out, but I would certainly recommend that anyone staying does not do automatic checkout and goes to the desk instead as I would have ended up paying several times had I not. We stayed one night at the hotel and was vary happy with all aspects of the hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly and there were lots of them. The breakfast was good, did the job! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend it.

For: I was welcomed and given a room without much paperwork.Friendly and professional service. The parking was free and very spacious. Calm and serene location,close to M1. Close to stores like ASDA and TESCO (OPEN 24hrs) Excellent breakfast:had enough healthy & Vegan options,cannot fault it. Ich habe 2 Zimmer für 5 Personen und Hund voraus gebucht und bezahlt, sehr gute Abwicklung von Check-in und out, Zimmer bei Aufenthalt auf der Hinfahrt sehr ordentlich und sauber, Service Mitarbeiter korrekt, im Restaurant sehr gute Bedienung und gut zubereitetes Essen, auch für eine Veganerin ok.
