We really enjoyed our stay in Mercure Hotel. It is good hotel and budget price, Thank you Hotels.com so much for giving us this special rate. Hotel have friendly and helpful staff. Room is clean and we love the bed so much, it's huge like a pool, and room lighting control is right at the bed side table, how convenient is that, but the bath room is not […] so good with ageing taps and door. Hotel also is in good location with a supermarket just right at next door, and the hawkers sell local food. The tuk- tuks are always around the hotel area. We can tell you Tuk-tuks drivers in Chiang Mai are more honest than those in Bangkok, They charged quite reasonable from 40 to 100 baht for a ride to shopping malls,even to to airport. We rent a tuk-tuk parked in front of the hotel for 1 day and he took us to all tourists spots like tiger kingdom, orchid farm, elephant camp, strawberry farm, karen village and temples only 400 baht for 2 person. This is so much cheaper than tour agents which charge 800 baht per person to go to these places. But Karen Village ( long neck people ) disappointed us with expensive entry ticket for 500 baht per person but nothing much inside... Devamı

The Mercure is an old and dated hotel, but relatively clean (a little smelly). I would not recommend this hotel for the traveling family. There is no nearby areas which are safe to walk about or explore, and despite the price (low) the location is sketchy at best... I was concerned about the safety of my children. We stayed only one night despite the […] awesome breakfast buffet. Staff are polite, gracious and very, very helpful. I recommend this hotel to the thrifty traveler who does not intend to enjoy ANY resort style amenities and spends very little time in his room. Devamı

Awesome hotel, great location and the friendliest and most helpful staff. They also upgrade our room for us for free when we arrived as we were staying 10 nights with them.

This hotel was great. The price was so cheap for the quality of the hotel. Breakfast and internet was not included so if you want those don't choose the "standard" room. Breakfast was 200 baht which was a bit expensive and internet was also. like 600 baht for 24hrs. (total usage) and you could log out so it only counted the time you were actually logged […] in. all in all, a great hotel though. Devamı

Perfekt, hvis man har to mindre børn, da det ikke koster ekstra. Morgenmaden er lidt overpriced, men da du ikke betaler for den sammen med opholdet, kan du jo vælge noget andet i byen eller fra supermarkedet. Ren pool, og selvom den var kold elskede ungerne at hoppe i den. Hotellet ligger lidt uden for bymuren, det tager dog kun 10-15 min at gå hertil […] ellers tag en tuc tuc.
