Rooms are basic at best. Poor lighting, no security lock box, no luggage rack. Worst internet connection I have experienced outside of developing countries! Seems oriented to large groups of tourists or students rather than business customers.

We stayed at this hotel overnight while waiting for a connecting flight out of TXL. It's conveniently located, a short bus ride away from the airport. The rooms are completely fine, and we have no complaints in terms of amenities. Two disappointments: 1) The lack of free wi-fi (15 minutes free, and then pretty exorbitant rates thereafter) seems totally […] absurd to me for a real hotel; 2) Someone from the cleaning staff entered our room without knocking at around 9:30am, which was a bit shocking for us. Excellent place to stay overnight for a flight or even for more days! Easily accessible by bus from the airport (10 mins away--bus #128, stop at Kapweg); shopping center just a few minutes away (walking). I had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. Thumbs down for breakfast not being included.

Very good. The food was very expensive but luckily it is within walking distance to a mall and some restaurants and Underground Subway. There is a microwave, ref, in the room making the nearby supermarket very convenient. Another GREAT PLUS is there is FREE WIFI in the room. It only lasts 15 mins, but you can get it again for another 15 mins unlimited […] times. That is a big plus today when hotels are charging for internet. Devamı

This Hotel is excellent for bus transfer on tghe 128 from Tegel airport, it also has a good link two minutes away onto the U-Bahn line 6 which takes about 15 minutes direct to the city centre. The aircraft noise is a little loud but you get used to it, I would have like a kettle in the room and a wider choice of english speaking TV channels but other […] than that it was a reasonably priced convenient hotel for my 3 night stay. Good location for for people flying out of Tegel. Bus to airport stops right outside hotel. Very noisy during day due to flights but the noise stops at 11 PM so you can sleep. Good breakfast

Very convenient to TXL airport in what was the eastern sector. The #128 direct and only a few stops from the airport and stops at hotel door. The Hotel is a 2 minute walk to the subway Ubahn station that goes to Friedrichstrasse. The hotel is near the end of the runway but has multiple pane glass so you don't notice the jets overhead. A few local restaurants […] and snack shops but basically a residential district. Plan to ride the train to the sights or other attractions. A perfectly decent but not exciting hotel convenient to Tegel airport. The staff are helpful. As other reviewers pointed out, you can hear the plane overhead until fairly late in the evening, but it didn't really bother me.

It's perfect if you have no other options but really need to be close to the airport. It's still a little expensive considering the area, no shuttle service, and does charge for internet.

The location of the hotel is about 2 miles from Tegel airport, and you can get to the airport by public transportation. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room where we stayed in was clean and comfortable.

The bad news is that the paid for wi-fi does not work in all of the rooms, only in the lobby. This problem needs to be corrected!

Loud, to far from the city centre and awful bed with rubbish pillows and far to basic! Only good thing about the hotel room was the shower. It was shown as a 4* on this site but is actually a 3*, and not a very good one.

Pillow need to be renewed with real ones! The inside of the beds ( Comforters ) need to be cleaned!!!!

Good hotel, but beds are very soft. Directly under the flight path, but you get used to the noise. Much better than the nearby Hotel Baerlin.

While the lobby is recently renovated and looks modern, the rooms have a "dorm" feel to them that is very dated. My room had a particularly awful smell when I first walked in, but it dissappated when I opened the windows. Overall, I wouldn't have wanted to spend more than one night here (I only chose it as a stop over from Tegel) but it was still a […] 14 euro cab ride back to the airport... and their are closer hotels. This hotel is ideal for business travellers who need good accomodation near Tegal Airport. There is an excellent bus service to the terminal from right outside the hotel.

We were in Berlin for 3 days and had to catch a plane to Munich on the fourth day, so this hotel was perfect for us because it is conveniently located about 10 mins away from the airport. The neighborhood is quite and there are a few restaurants nearby where the food is great! There is a supermarket called "Rewe" in the shopping center in front of the […] gas station and the metro stop is 2 blocks away from the hotel... you can be in the city center in 15 mins. The staff was very helpful at all times (provided us with maps and information) and let us use the computer in the lobby with no problem (you have to ask for an access code first). The hotel was very nice overall and our room was extremely clean and spacious. The bathroom was spotless, also very big, and with a nice shower (complimentary soap and shampoo is offered). The noise from the planes is NOT like they make it sound in the other reviews. If you keep your windows shut, it will not bother you. We kept our windows open at night though because it was a bit hot, and we didnt hear any planes whatsoever. Devamı

This hotel is a Euro 10 taxi ride from the airport and has no courtesy bus to the airport. The only feature that justifies the name is the fact that from 6am until 11pm about every 2 - 3 minutes a landing jet thunders right over the building. To keep the noise tolerable, the windows must be kept closed, yet the hotel is not air-conditioned. Smooth check-in and check-out. Ten euro taxi ride to Tegel. Nice, new furnishings and spacious bathroom. Noise from airplanes not that bad. Overall quite comfortable and convenient.

The Dorint hotel is part of a chain, and is run like clockwork. The hotel is clean and efficient and my room was modern, comfortable, large and spotless. The bed was heavenly and the bathroom all tiled and spacious. For those who need to make an early flight from Tegel it is an ideal location. It is a 5 minute easy walk from the Kurt Schumacher Platz […] U6 subway station, with direct connection to downtown Berlin. The subway station is also directly connected to the airport by bus 128, a 5 minutes ride. Taxi from the hotel to the airport cost 10 Euros. The neighborhood is residential, with several coffee shops/restaurants at the subway exit, and a large restaurant in the hotel itself. A good size shopping center with a supermarket is a short walk away. I will be glad to stay there again, and in light of the reasonable price also make it a base for exploring Berlin. A whole day transportaion pass in Berlin (for subway, bus and train) cost about $9 and covers almost everywhere a tourist would want to go. It takes just minutes to get from the hotel to downtown by subway. A highly recommended hotel. Devamı

Hotel was within easy taxi ride from airport. Close to shops and restaurants. I did not mind being in the flightpath for Tegel but some people might be disturbed by the airplanes flying low overhead.

Hotel is modern with good sized rooms. Modern Bathroom thouh the shower has some overspray and the drain is too high. ( Second room where I noticed this).Beds are good but pillows are a joke. Goede hotel dicht bij de metrolijn naar het centrum (ongeveer 3 minuten lopen en dan 12 minuten met de metro). Jammer dat er te weinig stopcontacten waren, opladen moet in de badkamer. Toch een goede prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding voor een paar nachten. Geluidshinder van overvliegende vliegtuigen valt erg meer, je wend er snel aan.
