We stayed here a week ago before going to the Islands. We returned to this hotel because the location is a block from the New Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis Metro Station. It is located on a quiet street with super helpful staff and a really good breakfast. I highly recommend the hotel.

This hotel is excellently placed just a 5 minute walk from the Parthenon Museum and the entrance to the Acropolis. It is also 5 minutes from the beginning of the beautiful Plakka neighborhood, which is where we spent most of our time. Highly recommended for the location. Have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and each time have greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff are helpful and kind and remember us year after year! It is situated right in the heart of all the sights one would like to see in Athens. Amazing restaurants, cafe's and gelato shop very close. Lots to explore! Can't wait until our next visit.

This hotel was brilliant! The staff were lovely and extremely helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is perfect. We were blown away by the friendliness of the staff - from the moment we arrived they offered us advice on where to go and helped us plan out our weeks stay in Athens. We were greeted with […] smiles every time we left the hotel and returned. We had a small issue with the hotel drycleaning while we were there (the clothes were still damp when they were returned to our room), not a huge deal for us but the hotel staff went out of their way to apologise and offered us a free drink at the hotel bar and we had no charge for the drycleaning - which just goes to show the quality of their service! The hotel location is perfect for all of the major attractions (literally 4-5 minutes walk to the Acropolis) and is based in a very nice, touristy area with lots of cafes and markets around - not over priced either. It's in a very lively area with lots of buskers and street performers. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!! Devamı

This hotel was beautiful. The decor in the lobby/ sitting area was old fashioned but the theme carried through. The staff were every so helpful they even found a coupon in the local paper and gave it to me to use at a restaurant. The room was Comfortable. The breakfast was delicious the yoghourt to die for:) the location was perfect right at the entrance […] to the plaka and the acropolis close to several bus tour stops and the metro there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around and there was even a laundry mat. Airotel Parthenon could not be located in a better place. Right by the Parthenon (as the name suggests) and the new Acropolis Museum. It is very close to Plaka (the old part of Athens below the Parthenon) and to Syntagma Square (the central square in Athens). There is a metro station nearby. Great location! My only problem was the room was very warm. We were in between heating and cooling so it was hard to regulate the room temperature. It was so hot and uncomfortable to sleep. Had to open the room. We did speak to management but they couldn't do anything about it.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The hotel is right around the corner from the Acroplis Metro station and taxi/bus stops. It is also in the heart of the old district which is full of shops, restaurants, historic sights, and pleasant, safe streets. The breakfast, which is included, is a traditional Greek style and contains all sorts of pastries, breads, yoghurt, fruits, meats, and beverages...it is quite delicious! We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights it was really nice hotel the location is great 2 min walk to Acropoli metro station, the staff their are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, although I think they should paint put better lights in the bathroom.

We had a really lovely stay. There was a minor issue but it was dealt with quickly and professionally. The staff were polite, helpful and courteous at all times and spoke good english. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable but not luxurious. It is exceptionally located for for easy walks to Athens' greatest sites: the Acropolis, Agora, Acropolis Museum, the Roman Market, and much more. Hotel in great location... Short short walking distance to acropolis, plaka, metro, and flea market.... Short walk to hadrians arch and most of the tourist spot in Athens! Upon arrival, the front desk came out to help us unload our luggage from the taxi, which was a very nice gesture. The check-in process was simple and adequate, although I didn’t feel the warmth from the staff like others did. Our first room was located on the 2nd floor with 3 twin beds, with not very clean looking sheets and very dim lighting. We called […] to request for a room change as there were only 2 of us and we do not need a 3rd bed to take up all the tiny spaces in the room. The front desk RELUCTANTLY honored our request and told us there was only one other room available. I am not sure how true it was but the 2nd room was 100% better than the first one. WIFI: I am not sure if it is a common issue throughout Greece but we couldn’t get ANY wifi signals in our room. I had to step out of my room and sit on the hallway whenever I need to use to WIFI. We complained to the hotel but they said it is probably jammed up by the overloading usage, well you know what, it is time for an upgrade! We live in a digital era so there is no excuses that my iphone 5 cannot even locate the network name when I am in my room. Location: Great, although it is a bit hard to find by the cabs, so just have them drop you off at the Acropolis metro if they can’t locate the hotel on GPS (we had enough share of frustration from the cabs in Athens). This is a great hotel if you are traveling to see the key landmarks, it is within walking distance to Acropolis and several others, walking to restaurants and markets. The hotel staff are very helpful all the time. We walked to most places that we want to visit. It's very close to the train station,( several streets), you can take the train from the […] airport the here and walk to the hotel, do even need a taxi. The fruit stand at the train station is cool, we bought grapes and peach from there and they are very good. There are many markets along the street. lots of restaurants, if sometime you feel need a quick snack, you can get a Gyro for about 2 euros. If you like fish, so do the Greeks, you have to order some fish from the local restaurants, they are very good. Have some cash on hand, some only take cash. The hotel room is a good size, comfortable bed, good bathroom and generally very pleasant. Room could have done with a little bit more cleaning - there was a bit of dust on the floor. Staff were very welcoming and gave me lots of tourist information without me asking for It!

We only ended up staying one night here to rest after our long flight, see the main sights of Athens, then go on to the islands so this was a GREAT location. Nothing fancy, but the convenience is worth it. It is 2 minutes from the metro station, 5 minute walk to nearly everything you want to see in Athens, and feels like a very safe neighborhood with […] tons of restaurants. It's off a small street so it wasn't noisy and the staff were very helpful with maps and knowing when things were open. The room was a normal sized european hotel room, but a decent sized bathroom with stand-up shower. We took an early ferry and checked out early, but the breakfast they were putting out looked very good and they even had coffee and pastries for us leaving so early. The hotel was easy to find, with Acropolis Metro station just round the corner. Reception was welcoming and our room was large and clean with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom, with bath as well as shower. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge choice of everything you could wish for, whatever your tastes. We would happily stay there again.

The beds were comfortable. The ceiling of the bathroom had moisture spots. Needed to be repainted. The internet connect was great if your room was in front of the router. Free breakfast. Short walk to Acropolis and Patheon. Plaka area was nearby. Everything was within walking distance. The changing of the guard was on Sundays at 11:30.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2012 and my husband and I were AMAZED as to what we got for our money when we caught a special for pay for 2 nights, stay 3. The location is BEYOND FANTASTIC, you are literally in front of the acropolis hill, a whole bunch of very lively streets that are full of people at 1am still quietly walking/eating. The staff were very polite, helpful across all sections, reception 9spoken to several staff) as well as restaurant. The breakfast was also a really nice buffet. The Plaka, the National Gardens, the Temple of Zeus and the 1st Olympic stadium are all a very short lazy walk away from here so we spent $0 on transport while there, other than from the airport and back.
