The lounge staff (PM) made me feel like I was intruding on their time. Not very friendly at ALL. Don't order breakfast, it will arrive cold and with out the condiments.

Great location when visiting Syracuse Univ. Close to campus and all facilities, and close to Armory Square with shops and restaurants. Nice hotel, nothing outstanding, but very nice.

Hotel is beautiful, service was good. The area is a little sketchy and there arent any good shops or restaurants in walking distance.

I was completely pleased with my stay front desk was friendly the bartender was friendly I loved everything about the hotel and decor was lovely would definitely stay at crowne plaza again :)

Parking was easy. Staff was courteous and efficient. Room was comfortable and clean. Room also had plenty of space to work and was large enough to spend multiple nights.

Remodeling of the hotel looks great. New carpeting, new decor, new pub area bar and seating. Needs to redo executive lounge and Redfields. Only downfall is the heating situation. When we were out of the room heat shuts down so we always came back to a cold room.

I only stayed at the hotel for one night. The room was beautiful and the service was fantastic. We ordered room service in the evening. The food came to our room very quickly and was absolutely delicious. I plan on returning to this hotel the next time I am in Syracuse.

I was satisfied with everything except the shower. The water was luke warm and I was freezing when I got out.

down (or alternative) comforters and super soft matresses; if threadcount and bed comfort are important to you... you'll love this hotel!

Very comfortable overnight stay. The restaurant was wonderful, and gratus parking nearby.

The hotel room was clean, wasn't real keen on the shower, but was useable. Location was great and the service was good. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Interesting property. The room and facility are quite nice. The foos was slightly overproces, but good and the service very good.

Hotels.com listed our room as two queen beds, and it was not a nice surprise to get a 150 sq' room and one full sized bed total. The hotel lobby was nice. Our room was average, but the whole experience felt overpriced.

The Crowne makes round cool. Free parking is a plus. With a convenient location. I wasnt sure what to expect of the rooms. They were well apppointed and fun to experience. Basically like a cool slice of pie. The moden interior elevators are in the middle. Make it to your floor and walk the circle hall to your room. Enter and find a warm modern deco […] room. Summary: This is an OK place to stay for access to points at the hospital or university. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. They provide WiFi and direct internet hook-up and include a VGA jack to run the TV as a second computer monitor. First, be careful about the floor and side of the hotel you book. An elevated interstate highway runs level […] with floors about 4 - 7, and the hotel is almost immediately next to it. When you are on that side of the hotel, you will hear the constant high-speed, interstate, traffic noise. Also be careful if you plan to walk around that you know where you are going in the area. It seems, one side of the hotel adjoins a rather run-down looking neighborhood. It is otherwise OK if you are heading directly in to the hospitals or university. Devamı

Overall, the room was excellent. Two bad things: 1) the elevator system is a disaster. They have a new system that works poorly and I had to wait 11 minutes for an elevator on one occasion. 2) Ice. I stayed on the 19th floor and the closest ice machine was on the 15th floor meaning I had to take the stairs because the elevators were so unreliable.

This is a pretty nice hotel. Has an attached parking deck so it was very convenient. They were in the process of upgrading the elevators, so that was a little annoying, but only temporary. The lounge area looked pretty nice, and the restaurant is good.

Elevators did not work. Manager had a terrible attitude. To top it off, the somehow "misplaced" our things and refused to do anything about it!

The positives: close to Syracuse University, free parking, efficient check-in, free wi-fi. The negatives: elevators were slow and one was out of commission due to construction, meaning we had to wait forever to get an elevator; the room had not been cleaned before our arrival...found a dirty sock in the room from the last guest...yuck! The hotel is under renovations, and the room we had was complete and elegant! Accommodations were wonderful. Elevator new and had trouble and waiting was a pain, but sure that will be addressed and fixed once renovation of the new system is complete. Free, safe parking garage. A/C a bit loud, but worked well.

I paid well more than average rates for one night at the Crowne Plaza in Syracuse. The hotel was not particularly clean, areas were under construction, elevator waits were long, odor of disinfectant in room was overwhelming, location next to a large elevated freeway was unpleasant and air conditioning was much too cold. Several nights before I stayed […] at a beautiful historic hotel in downtown Chicago for 2/3 of the cost. Strongly recommend taking a pass on the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Syracuse. We stayed at the Syracuse Crowne Plaza for 1 night and it was an extremely frustrating experience. Apparently, there was some elevator maintenance going on. With only 2 elevators working for such a large hotel, the wait was never less than 5 minutes and one was 15 minutes! The 2 working elevators had a system where you punch in your floor number and […] it tells you which elevator to take. Sounds efficient, right? WRONG!!! I don't even want to waste time going into all the ways this system is messed up in a hotel (doesn't take into account you may have multiple people with luggage, kids like to push multiple floor numbers, confused people put in multiple floors until they figure it out.) what you end up with is an elevator that seems to have a mind of it's own with no way to control it when you get in. Elevators aside, the breakfast was disappointing (and definitely not cheap). You could have a nice omelet made if you wanted to wait a LONG time. Or, you could wait to use the ONE waffle maker or the ONE, two-slice toaster. Or have some underdone eggs. I have never written a hotel review, but felt compelled to do it this time. I'm just glad it wasn't me having my wedding there. All those guests are going to remember from that couples special day are the multiple inconveniences! Devamı

Pros ~ Breakfast Buffet is delicious. Although my waitress Terri, must have had a bad morning. I hope she isn't allowed to work in that demeanor daily. ~ There are actual compact cribs available as opposed to most hotels providing a pack n play. Cons ~ If you have small children, this is NOT the place to stay. This is for business or singles. My child […] got into everything..its design, well, all the furniture sits very, very low...Even the mini fridge that sits under the aleady short desk...He was inside. ~ The 3 elevators suck. Slow isn't the word. ~ I didn't have a room service menu and requested one...4hrs later. Still no menu. Decided to order delivery. ~ The pillows were good at all. Many Rooms are being renovated but the newly renovated ones are not sound proofed very well, you could clearly hear talking, plumning, road sounds and the air conditioner is extremely loud.They have some kind of crazy new elevator that you have to pre program for your room and if you happen to jump on without punching in your floor your out of luck, […] that is when the elevators were working... Breakfast was ok but they should consider including a continental service for free and upgrade the coffee...the wireless Internet was slow and sporadic. I have stayed many times in the Carrier circle area and will return to that area next time. Downtown is boring and lifeless, except for the crack house we saw down the street when we dared search for a drug store nearby... our housekeeper was a little less then friendly, maybe its cause she had to go in circles all day long.... Overall the hotel is clean. While the hotel desk staff is professional and attentive, other staff can be deemed as only average in their ability to provide customer service, to communicate and/or to respond to request. That's not a compliment to what I thought would be a better quality hotel. The hotel bar restaurant was good, but seemed to close fairly […] early at night. At the time of my visit, the hotel was undergoing renovations, so there were issues with construction/work areas being visible. Very nice hotel with many updated amenities. However, they have recently changed the technology in the elevators and they are NOT useful or efficient. We had to take the stairs repeatedly. However, the rest of the experience was wonderful!

Very rude staff. We reserved a room for 4 people and what we got was a 1-bedroom. You have to wait at least 15 min for the elevator in each trip. Very loud AC. This was my worst vacation ever just because of this hotel. Please....Please do not go there!

Our overall stay was ok but not great. Location was easy to find but not in a nice area. We were there on a Sunday and there was nothing open around the hotel. No restaurants close by to go to. Was a bit upset that the tray of breakfast dishes and leftover food was still left in the hall at 5:00 pm.
