Really enjoyed our stay. It's an older hotel but the room was nicely decorated. Also liked the coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Nice oceans views. The staff was friendly and very accommodating (we needed a rollaway at the last minute and they took care of it right away).

It's nothinng fancy and breakfast doesn't amount to much, but it's clean, it's on the beach and a short walk to everything down town.

the hotel was nice and your close to the beach walking distance and the restaruant are close by and walking distance also. I would recommend to this hotel and i would go back here again.

This Hotel is below average if you want a Nice place to stay, however the location makes up for it! Location is everything in this small beach city so this hotel could not be located at any better place. The rooms are clean and service is ok but they are just not modern. over all satisfied, specially for the price and location. only complaint is, the housekeeper did no t clean the coffee maker. the coffee canister was full of old brewed coffee. made me wonder what kind of cleaning was done.

We could walk to most of the places we wanted to go. Good coffee in lobby and good TV. Great beach. My only complaint was rubber mattress cover made me sleep hot.

first of all its a good price for staying by the pier in Pismo but their were three things that i did no like first there was no AC CONDITIONER ONLY HEATER ;( second the shower head looked as if their tar build up pretty grouse...., and third it said specifically front ocean view... the windows are so small that the only way you could see the ocean […] view is only by going outside and standing by the balcony... Right by the beach, but you don't want to stay here.

This hotel is very clean inside and outside. Close to many restaurant and also near the beach. But the neighbors were noisy but only one night on sunday night. the other days are not too busy. There was a woman drunk talking proffanity to everyone. But someone called the police and she got taken by the police. She was disturbing the peace. The heather […] was not working when we arrived it was very chilly so we went to the front desk and they give us portable heather. It is very nice of them. The breakfast just muffins and juice and coffee. The front desk people are all very nice. It was close to freeeways too. All in all it was a very good experience. Devamı

Room was very decent for the price - free wifi was great. Nice TV and fridge. Nice shower. Overall very satisfied. Breakfast, coffee etc. in lobby was decent. Pool is OK, jacuzzi/ hot tub needs some work. Heater worked fine as well. Dogs were comfortable and enjoyed as well. good for short stay, but for longer stay, it could get crowded with cloths, […] jackets etc. due to lack of closet space. Although the hotel is a bit older than most you can't beat the location. Housekeeping and Maintenace staff OUTSTANDING. No surprises at check in, no added fees. Exactly as described. Not a 5 star hotel, but for the price, good quality. Pets allowed, perfect for us and a short walk to the beach and the pier. Good staff, good parking. Glad I used Hot […] el.com Devamı

Nice. Lots of families. Won't like this hotel if your not into dogs, but worked out great for us. Every short walk to the beach and nice staff. Breakfast is coffee and in house made muffins. Nothing fancy.

Our stay at Edgewater was excellent. Price was very reasonable and the view was AWESOME! We will definetly stay here again.

We'd stayed on the the third floor, considered a partial ocean view. We were delighted with the location, the view, the ocean sound and the service of the staff. We will stay there again.

Nice pleasant stopover on trip from Orange County to Sonoma County. I can easily see an extended stay. On the beach, nice view, fun city to explore.

We arrived after dark and I couldn't understand why I kept hearing the sound of the ocean waves which kind of kept me awake. Morning showed the answer, our room was about a football field away from the beach! Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to cute downtown. Recommend Doug's Seafood and BBQ for dinner and Splash Cafe […] for breakfast. It was cheaper, bigger, and better than any fast food anywhere. Since cuteness is our criteria, we will be back to Pismo Beach soon. Devamı

Great place to stay in the quiet week before Christmas. Staff very friendly. Room not fancy, but clean, large and comfortable. Need more pillows for a king size bed.

The hotel was definitely dog friendly and we loved being right on the beach and walking distance to downtown. Staff was friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend it

This hotel is walking distance to everything in Pismo. Right on the beach, with a decent pool, small jacuzzi & most rooms have beautiful view of the coast. Rooms are pretty basic, but we would DEFINITELY there stay again! Great value for the $$!

Great location. We would have liked to stay another night, but it was only a stopover. The clerk was helpful in giving us an extra hour to check out.

My Husband and I just stayed there, for 2 nights. I had forgot that I picked this hotel for the price and the fact that it had jetted bathtubs, despite the reviews I had seen while searching for hotels that said they didn't work. So I was pleasantly surprised when I came across it in our bathroom. The downfall was that like the other reviews it was […] true, the jets didn't work, at least not properly. They would turn on for like 20 seconds, then stop for like 5 minutes and then turn on for 20 seconds again. So that sucked, but the tub was a nice size, the room was spacious and clean, the bed was a little hard, but the fridge and tv were nice. The lady at the front desk could have been a little more professional, but all in all it was a nice stay, just a few steps to the beach, and right around the bend from the pier. If you aren't looking for much, and mainly just a place to sleep and relax in after a long day, I would definately recomend edgewater. p.s. The heater in the room works great, had no need to try the airconditioner. Devamı

Great beach hotel for the location. We stayed the night with our kids to split the drive up the coast to San Francisco. Loved the view from our room and the fact that I could run on the beach in the morning. Some reviews on this hotel seem low, but they must not understand that thus is a beach hotel, not a 5 star resort. If that's what you are looking […] for, don't stay here. This is an older hotel/motel but located just steps from thebeach. We had a room next to the pool and heard everything going on outside so sleeping after 7:00 am was not an option. We were in the single level building so this might be a problem if youb stay in the multi level building across the parking lot. This is a tricky review because we were given an awful room initially. One of the worst on the site. Dark and used by smokers. Air-conditioning switch didn't work. Moved along two rooms to another equally poor room. We had paid for a larger bed. After much grumbling we were given a room which was light and airy with a good view. We get the feeling that […] the hotel booking system means we end up with the poorest rooms, Is this the case? Convenient for Pismo beach and the surf and local restaurants. Typical buffet breakfast. I would stay here again. It served its purpose I am not one to stay in the room I vacay to sight see.

The hotel is a typical good quality motel type accomodation. Staff were friendly, check-in was quick and easy, location was great and close to several restaurants and bars and to the beach (which was the main reason for choosing it). The room itself was fine, clean and comfortable with A/C. My girlfriend was a little concerned that the room has direct […] access from outside but this is the same as all motel type accomodations so not really something you can criticise the hotel for. The only negative I would say is that the breakfast is non-existent, literally just muffins and tea/coffee/juice. However we knew this before and booked it anyway so it wasn't a surprise, in our experience across California the "free" breakfast are fairly minimalistic. Anyway you can get a full American breakfast for $10 round the corner so really is not a big deal. The town itself, Pismo Beach, is a sleepy little surf town and perfect for a stop off on the way too or from Big Sur. A good alternative to San Luis Obispo which is bigger but not beside the sea. The room was okay, but nothing special. The location was great.

Hotel was fine. Close to beach. Rooms beside us were have a huge party and were too loud. Could not get to sleep....

We were satisfied with the room and location of the hotel. However the "continental breakfast" is a joke. Coffee and a muffin is not a breakfast.

The hotel was good; mostly clean and good condition. Never did find the remote to the TV or figure out the AC. The first night was great because I think we were the only ones on our side of the hotel (wednesday). But on Thursday night, we could hear so many loud neighbors. I think the walls are fairly thin. Very close to the beach and all the shops […] & restaurants within a few blocks. Breakfast was only muffins & coffee, so pass on the breakfast and get a cinnamon roll at the bakery on the corner. Better than a 2 star. Easy access to beach. View of water from some rooms and from breakfast area on 4th floor, but breakfast could have been more than juice, coffee and sweets.

We spent 3 nights at the Edgewater at the end of July, 2011. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great! Just a few steps to the beach and a short walk to the pier. The pool was great for the kids to get some of the sand off before heading to the room. The hot-tub, while hot, was very small. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is much better than a 2 star rating would lead you to believe. Bed was so comfortable. Very clean. GREAT location! and the staff was very nice and friendly. Definitely will stay there again.

We had our 2 young grandchildren with us and the location was great. Walking distance to beach, restaurants and shopping. They loved the pool and spa. Terrific time there

We stayed here for one night with a toddler... It was at a very good location... Everything at walking distance.. Splash had great clam chowder... The only bad thing the room kinda smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Staff was very friendly.

The room was nice and clean. The location was awesome especially for the price. Beach access right next to shopping and restaurants. Staff was amazingly friendly like we were at a 4 or 5 star hotel. They all deserve a raise in my opinion.
