The hotel was nice. the rooms were of adequate size.Very disappointed with the level of noise. On both the Friday and Saturday night there was functions in the function room. The music was blaring and could be heard clearly upstairs in the bedroom. I Was very happy with my stay at the Green Isle Hotel last Friday night. The value for money was as good as i have seen anywhere and the service and comfort level offered was well above the rate paid. Location is very convenient when working in the south Dublin/North Kildare area.

was very nice,we loved it and will come back 4 times a year if we get good deals,thanks very much to all the staff for their help

Stayed December 28th to 31st 2011. Staff at the Green Isle were very attentive and addressed all glitches in a professional manner. (e.g. accommodated our party of 2 adults and 4 kids in 3 rather than the 2 rooms we had paid for). Very reasonable(mid-week).Hotel window was looking out onto the dual carriageway.If you are a very light sleeper you might find this an issue at night.Car park was great with a very short walk to reception.I paid extra on a standard room which was supposed to cover parking charges but I was never asked if I had a car or anything so I prob threw away […] some money there.The hotel location is not great but it's not very far to the main spots in Dublin so if you are using a taxi the fare should not break the bank. We were charged/ quoted 42 euro breakfast in bed..... They said it was an error and all we got was an apology.... Not good enough... Would never recommend the hotel foe their customer service..... Crap...... Had to ring 4times to get an explanation ()

Arrived at hotel reception staff very efficent and directed us to our room. Roo good size and spotless. Had a nice swim in pool When we went to bar service slow just 3 customers in bar. Meal later at function really dragged out and bar service never improved up to closing. A big pity for such a nice hotel. Breakfast sunday excellent

The rate was really good and I was happy that even though it is near a very busy motor way, the room was very quiet and no road noise cold be heard! The bed was a bit uncomfortable, and it was very disappointing for our kids that the pool closed at 5pm so no evening swimming.

It was not in the down down area-which was nice, but close enough so you could get there within about 15 minutes driving are by bus. The only thing I would change was that they charged 1.50 euros every time you used the pool. The maid sevice was great-they were very friendly and helpful.

A bit old but comfortable hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Spacious rooms have seen their glamour some time ago, but are still quite comfortable and perfectly clean. It's less then 5 minutes drive to a park and ride site, from where it takes further 20 minutes tram ride to the city centre. Tram fares are guaranteed to stay below central Dublin […] parking rates - the whole family (2+2) could park the car and have return tram tickets for equivalent of less than 3 hours parking near Trinity College. There is allegedly a beautiful park just near the hotel - but we haven't been there, focused on the central Dublin. W-fi operates only in the main lobby area and is not very fast. Devamı

We had a lovely family holiday ...everything was great for our girls...especially the swimming pool !! Staff were friendly and helpful.... Bar was lovely by night .....We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our room was comfortable, clean, and all the staff we talked to were friendly and helpful. The only problem was the location, about a 45-minute bus ride from the City Center. It would not have been a problem, but the bus comes by so infrequently that we lost a lot of time waiting for it. Otherwise our stay was lovely.

nice hotel but was slightly disappointed the was no broadband in my room. Didn't have wired connection and wifi was only available in the hall.

Generally our stay was excellent, pleasant room, enjoyed our time in leisure centre. There was no WiFi in room however but we got a cable from reception. This did mean that laptop was connected to the wall for internet use and chair was not as comfortable as being able to stretch out on bed. The hotel look good ,room comfortable,but we felt tiolet was not cleaned properly in our room,also we felt hotel looked grubby hand mark around doors windows internally,breakfast plates not washed properly,drinking glasses were greasy not dish washer clean,we also were awakened 4am when bar down stairs was emptied on to the street and the noise was […] terrible. Hotel reception staff were lovely, helpful and polite. Unfortunately the rest of the staff let the hotel down. Bar staff an restaurant staff argued over whose job it was to serve tea, at swimming pool (NO Lifeguard) we were told there was a charge for towels only to be told they had none and go back to our room for towels, no apologies were made for […] this. This hotel is a 15 min drive into Dublin city centre, but has loads of quaint little villages around it. Directly opposite the hotel is a housing estate in it is the most beautiful park.. acres and acres of greens, 2 duck ponds, a massive play park, baseball and football parks... plenty of room for nice picnics. We really enjoyed the park spent 3 evenings […] there. The hotel staff where very friendly and couldnt help us out enough... but the room had been cleaned properly, the cups where dirty a bar had been left in one of the drawers the windows needed clean, but apart from that cant complain. It has a swimming pool but u need to wear a swimming cap which u need to pay for and also u have to use their towels which again you need to pay for. You only need to buy the cap once. car parking is free for all hotel users. I will diffently be staying again very soon. Devamı

Happy enough with the hotel, the location was fairly good, a fair distance from the city centre, radiator in the room had unsightly stains, more attention should be paid to overall housekeeping. I was not happy to have to pay to rent towels in the swimming pool and I found the attendant there extremely rude, telling me that i could not bring in towels […] that I had purchased elsewhere as they were not hygenic. In terms of value for money it was perfect but every last member of staff that we encountered were rude and unhelpful. It was impossible to ask a question or enquire about anything. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of other hotels to chose from with the same rate and staff that actually like their job

Perfectly nice hotel but found that what we thought was b & b was actually room only and breakfast was prohibitively expensive. We went out but I thought it was a mean trick the weekend of the Take That concert especially for people who might have no car and end up having to pay . The rates were more than doubled and I don't have a major problem with […] that - I understand they have to make money when they can - but I think making it room only at the higher price was mean spirited and because of that I wouldnt use them again or feel able to recommend them. Green Isle Conference & Leisure Hotel is located right off the motorway and is very easy to get to. The hotel itself is well laid out with ample parking and set down roundabout in front of the main entrance. We travel with quite a few bags when we work, so it was a little disappointing that there wasn't a luggage cart/rack/trolley at the entrance for […] self loading. I had to ask for one but it took over 10 minutes to arrive and was very well used. The rooms are clean and higher floors offer a clear view across the outer Dublin landscape. It has a cozy bathroom with a tub/shower combo and modern fittings. A small desk and table with chairs rounded out the 3x twin bed room. The restaurant is staffed with very courteous wait staff and I was impressed with their willingness to please. Being a vegan myself can be difficult to find wait staff who understand my dietary needs but ours knew what she had to do, unfortunately the chef wasn't so prepared. My meal consisted of very over cooked grade "B" vegetables; carrot ends, some squash with the skin partially left on and brownish cauliflower. I also received an order of chips but they were of the same quality as the rest of the beg. I had originally booked the hotel because of its proximity as well as its amenities, specifically a pool and sauna. Unfortunately due to our late check in, we missed the pool area as it closes at 9 pm. It is however open at 7 am for an early birds who like a morning swim. Overall I was impressed with my stay at Green Isle Conference & Leisure Hotel and I would recommend it to friends, but maybe not my vegan friends. Devamı

Warm, friendly, bustling place. Great ambience, clean comfortable rooms. Good bar and restaurant. Great swimming pool and gym. Convenient to the main Dublin-Cork motorway but far from the city center. The bus stops directly outside and the tram is a mile away so the connections are quite good. Nice hotel, no real problems with the stay. On the first night in the early hours there was a function on where some of the guest were staying down the corridor. In the early hour security were checking the room and were shouting at the guest telling her she had more in her room than she had paid for, yet she went down to reception to clear this up […] and there were no furth problems. room was awful. very far from 3 star. wall paper was falling off the wall. sofa in room had many many staines i did not sit on it. bed was clean but did not fit the bed. would not stay again.

Let me start by saying this hotel is ok for the price, however small things like only 1 light bulb working in the bathroom let it down. I went on a day when the wired broadband in the hotel was down, the wireless in the lobby was working but the socket down there was not. So only limited time could be spend before returning to my room to recharge. Breakfast […] was fine, Buffet thing, take whatever you fancy and eat until full. Would I stay there again, Yes I would be willing to stay there again and will do so in a couple of weeks when next over in Ireland. Excellent Hotel at very good price. Stayed 4 nights & would stay again.

I had a very nice experience staying at the green isle and would recommend. No complaints.

Hotel staff was cordial and reasonably helpful, rooms were clean- however the people in neighboring rooms may as well have been inside our room as we could hear them even at whispering levels. Plan on renting a car if you stay here, though there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that will take you to City Centre, the busses in this area come very […] very infrequently and are rarely ever on time. Found lump of dried toast on my pillow which questions the cleaneness of the rooms! Very noisy on a Saturday night as a lot of drunks seems to stay there because it is a bit cheaper. Liked the swimming pool and kids pool. Resturant poor and breakfast cold. Difficult to get to.

This hotel was great for children as it had a pool and was close to the Luas for easy access to Dublin centre.

A great hotel at fantastic value,excellent efficient staff. Decor is delightful to 4* standards. Great leisure club facilities,Steam Room,Jacuzzi and swimming pool. Rooms spacious,and bright with Tea/Coffee making facilities. The only room for improvement is for the breakfast to be hot and better selection of continental for tourist. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Sie waren stets zu Hilfe. Das Zimmer war sehr gross. Schade war es, dass man ca. 30-40 min braucht bis man in Dublin City ist. Das Hotel ist sehr abgelegen. Morgends fahrt der Bus mit 15-20min vom Hotel Richtung Dublin City ab. Es ist aber im Grossen und Ganzen weiterzuempfehlen.

correct pour une nuit de transit. accès à la piscine gratuite mais bonnet et serviette obligatoires et payants. chambre spacieuse pour 2 adultes+2 enfants mais seulement correcte pour le reste. Petit-déjeuner non-testé

OK, clean and cheep Hotel. Nice area. Broadband did`nt work, resturantservice/food poor.. Approx. 30 min from Dublin Centre (20 min taxi/20 euro). Bring your own food..
