The hotel was good vaulue for money conveniently placed near the venue I was attending. Helpful staff.

Good location, mainly clean and safe..I would strongly recommend it for a business trip of 1 or 2 days...as it's clean and cheap..so all you want when you're not there for leisure..

Efficient check in, great location for centre of Manchester and trains, clean and tidy room. Beds were a tiny bit hard and the view was pretty rubbish but for the price we paid it was fantastic, I would definitely stay there again.

Ibis is well-known but this one is a bit far from Train or Tram stations. Imagine you are carrying a big luagguge and walk to this hotel... (I was with 7 other friends) it's horrible.

We stayed one night in this hotel. The parking was difficult but only because there was a huge Chinese New Year celebration going on in the same area. The room was clean and comfortable and most importantly... warm. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

If you are booking an Ibis the one on Portland Street is much cleaner!

Vey friendly staff but some building work in reception/dining area which was a inconvienance.

Yes in need of an update but very clean and comfy bed and linen. Shower powerful. The hotel reception and breakfast area was undergoing major refurbishment whilst I was there (20 Dec)...with most of ground floor closed off and lots of workmen. The hotel was fine - once we found it! Went to their other branch on Portland St first, obviously our own fault but not helped by the receptionist giving us a 'free' card to get out of the car park that tried to then charge us £22.50!! This made us very late getting to our actual hotel as we had to leg it over town on foot as we didn't have time to […] move the car before our show. At the proper hotel the reception staff were helpful, ordering us a taxi and changing it at the last minute for a bigger one. The loo flushed in the noisiest fashion imaginable - don't flush at night if you can help it. Room was basic but comfortable - TV, phone, shower and loo. Only annyance was a lack of a plug socket anywhere near a mirror. Breakfast was reasonable but many of staff don't speak very good English so getting a plate and some jam was a challenge! Overall def worth the money as the cheapest rooms we found - be prepared to sleep in a double bed rather than twins as requested though - so only share with close friends! I found the hotel quite basic and a little dated. It was clean though and a good location.

Easy to find-simple,clean and not too expensive.

I just used the hotel to sleep for two nights and didn't spend any time in it during the day. People were friendly and the room was very clean in a very good condition.

The Hotel and the staff were fantastic for the price paid, and it was only a 5 minute walk into the Conference Centre - what I had not bargained on was for it to be Freshers Week and the area to be over run with partying students until 4 am on both nights! This was pretty standard fare. Good location and clean. The room was a bit like an ensuite room in student halls, but then you get what you pay for!

Good location - a few minutes from piccadilly station - in the university area - quiet in august. Breakfast was good for the special offer of £5. For £31 for 2 people it was a bargain!

Would not pay much more than £35-40 for this hotel personally, but for that price was serviceable. Only issue was the service staff waking us up by shouting at eachother at 9am; irritating when you arrived late.

hotel was fine for a one night stay on our way to london, nothing fancy, clean and comfortable just as we were told, god value for money too.

excellent service by hotel staff and rooms and hotel very clean also. No complaints about food either. I had a pleasant stay in my hotel in Manchester and would gladly stay their again any time.

only one bad thing didnt have a left luggage room so we had to carry our luggage round with us after checking out

Clean, simple but satisfactory room with good location for access to city centre and the University.

The hotel is a good budget hotel - close to the city centre. Rooms were basic - but clean. They could do with more towels. Breakfast was extra - but for the price paid had a good selection of items. Hot and Cold. Hotel staff were very friendly and check in was quick and efficient. I would stay there again.

I have stayed here before,and the toilets are always smelly. I was given Room 301 and the toilet was smelly and the flush was not working. I was then given room 701 which was also smelly, but the flush did work. Otherwise the hotel was good. The breakfast and the service, also staff was excellent.

For the low price I paid for this hotel, i wasn't expecting very much, but was pleasantly surprised. All staff were welcoming and friendly on reception, the room was basic, but had everything we needed for a short stay, and was clean. I would reccomend this hotel for convenience for anyone wanting a short stay in Manchester.

El hotel es centrico, pero el servicio que me ofrecieron en mi caso fue muy malo: al llegar las explicaciones fueron mínimas, luego pregunté por el servicio wifi y me dijeron que encendiera la tele y allí tendría instrucciones. Cuando lo hize, comprobé que no funcionaba el servicio, a lo que me contestaron que no era cosa suya (?). El baño carecía de […] jabón de ducha, por lo que tuve que usar el de manos. bien placé, près de la gare Picadilly, entre les universités et le centre ville. Tout est accessible à pied et il y a des bus pour quand on est fatigués. Très près des théatres.

Manchester no es muy grande y puedes ir andando a todas partes. El hotel está bien situado, cerca de la zona universitaria, bares de fiesta y de ambiente. En el hotel se respira un aire juvenil. La habitación es correcta, con una cama cómoda y limpia, con moqueta y baño prefabricado.

Bra budgethotell, ligger centralt. Inget utöver det vanliga, men helt, rent och trevlig personal. Man får vad man betalar för...

Veldig flott hotell. Pene rom, god service, og hyggelig betjening. Ligger rett ved oxford road, og veldig nært både london metropolitan university og university of london. Litt utenfor selve sentrum, men ligger rett ved togstasjon, så er veldig enkelt og greit.

The hotel was great, especially for young people wanting to enjoy the party scene. Location was good, Canal Street just around the corner. Only criticism would be that they only had a kingsize bed option, would've liked to have my own bed when travelling with a friend.
