I was a little concerned booking this hotel only because I saw from other reviews that they do have smoking rooms, and I didn't want the lousy experience of having second-hand smoke drifting into mine. We booked on short notice. I used to live here and usually stay with my parents but with the two dogs and our little one, we decided to give the folks a break. The bed was so comfortable, we slept better here than at home! And quite...we did not hear anything from anyone except when room service knocked mid-morning. The complimentary continental breakfast […] was just right. The room was clean and right off the freeway. Hard to believe it could be so quiet inside. Close to food, fuel, and recreation too! I did not hear any complaints from any other guests and their mood was pleasant when we passed in the hall or met in the breakfast area. The management was polite and professional communicating quietly to staff. Seemed like a well-oiled machine. Was nice to see the same person at the desk each day and be acknowledged with familiarity. Oh, and not a fuss for the two dogs we brought. Sure you pay a daily fee, but it is low and affordable. The best thing is you would not even know there were any other dogs in the place. No dog hair, no suspicious smells or stains, and no noise. The whole place has been around for several years but it has good owners and they seem to be keeping the place in good operational order. No worn marks, water stains, dents, cracks, or anything that looked like it needed repair. Thanks for a great stay on our short notice! We are glad we had such a nice experience. Devamı

The staff was friendly. The hotel is easily accessed from I-90 and has a few restaurants close by. But, the upper floor, where we stayed, smelled like cigarette smoke really bad.

Hotel was clean and presentable and well managed. Beds were above average for comfort. Breakfast provisions were about average for a chain hotel. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Check in went well and the staff was very nice. I had requested a non-pet room due to allergies as well as a dust allergy. They confirmed at check in about a non-pet room. I was placed on the second floor towards the end of the hall. Later than evening after eating at a local restaruant, I walked up the stairs to be met with a wall of cigarette smoke […] odor. As I walked down the hall to my room, I did notice 4 rooms without a non-smoking sign on them, which were located close to my room. I quickly entered my room and shut the door to keep out as much smell as possible, however due to the age of the hotel, or the poor construction, the gaps around the door weren't even close to being aligned and allowed a small draft to filter in along with the cigarette smoke odor. I asked the next morning about the ability to smoke in the hotel and they confirmed that there were a couple rooms upstairs that did allow for smoking in them and that the no-pet rooms were located next to those. The hotel doesn't understand that smoke does not stay in one room or place and that it filters throughout the facility...needless to say, all my clothes smelled like cigarette smoke when leaving. It is unlikely that I will go back to this hotel for this reason...unless it becomes a smokeless hotel. Devamı

This location is a great budget hotel for road trips through Eastern Washington. Easy on/off from I-90 in Ritzville. I used this location on my way back from Pullman, WA to Seattle. The rooms were good, not ultramodern, but good. Bed comfortable. Shower fine. Has a safe in the room. Wall unit heater was slow to warm up (was there in early February), […] but eventually did. Breakfast was nice...waffles, fresh fruit, juice, hardboiled eggs, biscuits with gravy, etc. The front desk gentleman (co-owner?) was very, very nice and friendly. It turns out the rate I got was cheaper than it was supposed to be due to a computer error, but he honored it, no problem. Devamı

Very clean hotel and room! Nice front desk staff and didn't hesitate to have me ask if there is anything I needed to make my stay better. The breakfast is the usual cereal and toast....but did have hard boiled eggs and hot biscuits and gravy. Great rate for a very nice overnite experience!!

Great place to stay that is clean and well equipped even if you want to prepare some meals in the room. Good for business or pleasure and an unexpected surprise for a hotel in a somewhat remote area.

The hotel is in great condition. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. The room was large and spacious. Had plenty of space for the kids to move around. The room was clean and was in decent shape overall. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I liked that the hotel put my 2 rooms reserved side-by-side as we were able to open up the inner door and create a suite with our families. We did not ask for this so it was a nice surprise. It is a clean, somewhat dated hotel but served our purpose as a inexpensive place to stay while driving through the state. Air conditioning, free wi-fi, breakfast […] & pool were good. Hot tub was not working and in disrepair which was a disappointment. I wish they would have wrote up the local attractions as I would have spent more time there. Nice, local 9 hole golf course is across the street and doesn't appear to be crowded. There is also a public outdoor pool with water slides just on the other side of the golf course (open noon - 8 in the summer). This would have been great to go to after a long drive to the hotel. The pool is also right next to a nice park. Finally, an excellent deli/gift shop is across the parking lot which serves great food (I had the best ham sandwich ever) and wine/beer. The shop was surprisingly well stocked with unique gifts. What a delight to find this all so close. I will stay there again with my family. Devamı

The Staff were very frinedly. The towels were clean but very warn and freyed on the ends, had holes in them. Water pressuer was very poor, I was afraid when I turned it on, that I was not going to be able to take a shower, but there was just enough dribble to get the job done. Come on these are basic needs.

Easy to find. Off-on freeway exits easily marked. The hotel itself needs a fresh update, replace door handles in hallway doors (currently missing), wash glass doors/windows. Popcorn on the floors in our room and offensive odor made me think the rest (bathroom) of the room was also not clean. Quite even though near freeway.

We just needed a bed traveling west...the staff was very personable and accommodating ! We appreciated the clean facility, but would suggest softer pillows and hotter shower water. Otherwise, the hotel had what we needed for our short stay. Thank you!

This place was a good, inexpensive roadside stop. Some of the interior finishes are showing the wear and tear of age, but the place was clean and staff friendly. Ritzville isn't exactly a destination resort, but there's a nice wildlife refuge (Turnbull in Cheney) and rails-to-trails nearby.

We needed this hotel just as a quick place to stay, and thankfully, it wasn't for long. Its a typical small town hotel in the sense it has a bit of creepiness to it. One of the reasons I figured it would be okay is that the website says it was renovated in January, 2011, however, when we stayed at in January, 2012, it appeared that the renovation had […] just barely started. The place was a mess (including masking tape to block of the stairs). The rooms were mostly clean, beds were comfortable. The hotel staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Fresh baked cookies in the evening as well as full hot breakfast. The little town may only be a spot on the map, but has a lovely gift shop and two nice places to eat right ntext to the hotel. We would come again.

while this hotel was clean it was very shabby. My king size bed was old and lumpy and the sheets had some major holes in them. I asked for a wakeup call which I never received most likely because the phones (neither one, each plugged into a separate jack) did not work. Friendly reception staff, and a very convenient location just off the highway at Ritzville. Also next door to a cheerful diner and gas station. However, cleanliness of room, furnishings and bathroom was definitely lacking. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming though.

I think for the location we needed and for the price it was an excellent place to stay. It is basic accomodation but comfortable. The room was very clean but a little old looking. The beds were VERY comfortable and we didn't have any real complaints. Breakfast was standard complimentary breakfast nothing fancy but still nice to have. No long distance […] calls are allowed at all so make sure you aren't needing that in the room. Wireless internet was available in our room so that was a nice thing to have. Staff was friendly enough with basic courtesy. I would recommend it to anyone who just needs a place to sleep at night and isn't looking to spend a lot of time in their hotel room. If you are looking for a luxurious stay and wanting to spend a lot of time relaxing in your room, this may not be the right place for you. We got in very late and we were welcomed as warmly as you be at 2AM, but the room was one where we were glad we were only staying a short night. Old creaky spring mattress and well worn . . . very dark,uninviting room (even at 2 AM), and sort of stuck in the middle of a parking lot serving a gas station and a couple of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay- 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Looks like the hotel was built in the 80s- could use an update but is in good repair and clean. Free wifi and a nice breakfast included- biscuits and sausage gravy, mini bagels,, donuts, cereal, milk, OJ and and coffee/tea, fruit, etc. in a nice lobby with tables and a fireplace.
