All good.

Very peaceful stay. Had construction going on but it didn't take away from the tranquility in my room. The fitness room was closed because of renovations. Clean bathroom, room & modern furniture. Will stay again the view was partial will get better view next time.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, however, the floor our room was located on was under construction and seemed a little unsafe. The complimentary breakfast was not close and had to be driven to. Again, the staff at the breakfast was very helpful, although the choices of items was limited.

Located close to nice places to eat in Pismo Beach and the pier. Nice to just relax, sit on the balcony and watch the ocean and beach. Only negative was the breakfast, the same thing every day and the frozen French toast sticks were tough.

This hotel is wonderful. We usually stay down the street at the Kon Tiki but it was booked so we chose this hotel because we have always had good results at Best Western Hotels. When we go to the coast we will now stay at the Shore Cliff...........the Kon Tiki has definitely lost our business. Ocean View room description is incorrect and misleading, and is described as: “Balcony with view of the ocean.” But in reality - Ocean View room description is hiding that a) Ocean view is partial (was seen just from the single corner), b) there is no balcony on the first floor, c) all this type rooms are overlooking pool and Jacuzzi. And to make things […] worse - Oceanfront room’s photos which are not offered by hotels.com are provided. The location and the services at the hotel were great, but then again I don't ask for much when I stay, just a nice place to rest. The problem with resting there was the absolute lack of any sound proofing and insulation. The place is a motel-style (which is not what I expected), so you walk into your room from the outside. If you have any noise outside, […] next door, above, or below, it's like the noise is right in your room, which makes for a not-so-restful stay. At 6:30 every morning, if there is one little kid staying at the hotel, the whole place is woken up. Doors to the outside don't seal, suite doors are hollow, so there is no noise protection. Read review about hotel room not clean and smelly, I was very worried. I didn't have any of such problems. Clean, comfortable and updated bathroom. My only complain is the counter service. When I went there for some help, 2 clerks were helping 2 guests and a 3rd worker was chatting with a guest while 2 other guests (counting me) were waiting in a small/crowded […] room. The lobby was under construction so it's moved to a hotel room. That's poor service in my opinion. I and the other guy were just staring at the talkative cleark talking about going to some winery. My wife and I stayed here in an ocean front double queen room. Beautiful scenery. Hotel staff was very pleasant. The only complaint was that there was construction going on in the lobby which prevented us from ususing some of the amenities but we still had a great stay. The complimentary breakfast was fine but a little cramped as the restaurant (next […] door) does not let hotel guests use the whole facility but rather just the front bar area. Seating was tough but again a beautiful view made up for the distress. Hotel is 5 min from main street Pismo and 15 min from Arroyo Grande. Loevely place. We would stay again. Devamı

Easy freeway access only a mile from Pismo beach and pier. Great view

We asked for a second floor room which they were able to do, right over the pool. We couldn't leave our door open due to all the noise coming from the pool. It appeared there was an underage group of kids drinking at the pool we didn't see anyone checking on the pool area. The bed was hard as a rock, I don't know if all the rooms are like that but my […] wife or myself were able to sleep the whole night thru. I always stay here on my way to SF, the staff are always so friendly. Best part is the view.

The room was recently refurbished and nicely so, better than most in this price range. But disappointed in the room location. It was one of the of the worst. 1. Just above the hot tub and pool. Very nosy and little privacy on the room balcony. 2. Only a partial ocean view and not the full on ocean view that most of the rooms have and that are advertized. 3. […] I was only there one night so I let it slide, but if I was staying longer I would have requested a better location or checked out. This is our first stay at this hotel. We loved it! The staff was curteous and helpful, the place was clean, everything worked, very comfortable room! And the view... its enough to take your breath away! Just beautiful. Listened all night to the ocean while we slept... so soothing... loved it so much we stayed an extra night!

Upon booking it several days out and requesting rooms next to each other the hotel staff overlooked the requests. Check in at 3:30 to find one room cleaned and the other one attached needed to be cleaned. The hotel staff assured us it would only be 30 mins. However, the truth was we did not get into our room until 4:45 and I had to consistently remind […] the hotel staff what I was waiting for. There was no apology for the wait the gentlemen did not seem to care that I had two children with me and dinner plans at 5pm needless to say I was late due to the room taking so long to be ready. And it was not even an adjoining room but a couple doors down. Other than the front desk staff the room was nice and the view beautiful. It would of been helpful to know the hotel was being renovated and the lack of parking. Devamı

This was a beautiful room with a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean, with a sunset & all! The room was very comfortable & clean & the people were so friendly. Even though they were going through some renovation, they made us very comfortable & the price was very reasonable.

All I can say is, what a beautiful view. One of the nicest rooms I've stayed in for the money. Very large and clean, with a nice balcony. There was a good surf spot in front of the hotel but access to it was from the nearby beach. Pismo was a really nice beach with decent surf but would close out with the larger swell. The hotel was undergoing some renovations in the lobby, so check in was in one of the rooms. This was okay with us, since we don't tend to hang out in the lobby of hotels anyway. Everything was great, the bed was super comfortable, pool was heated, but not too warm as you sometimes find. Hot tub was a nice toasty 102 or 103 degrees, which is just perfect. […] The only thing that could have been improved upon was the continental breakfast. I don't know if it was because of the renovation going on, but we had to go to the restaurant next door for breakfast. The offering was meager, and seating was limited to the bar area, which was crowded both mornings that we went. This was one of the most "basic" of complimentary breakfasts that I have experienced. We had a nice view of the pool and of the ocean, and a small deck off of our room. Overall, it was great. I would certainly go back. Devamı

We spent three nights at Shore Cliff. Originally I chose this hotel because the price was great and the views were amazing. The room was decent and the hotel staff was very friendly, but the beds were terrible! We were given a room overlooking the pool the first night, and the front desk was nice enough to move us for the remainder of our stay. The […] new room had a fantastic view of the ocean! However, the bed in that room was just as bad. I literally woke up in pain each morning. Overall, I lovevthe location of the hotel but I'd almost rather nit have the view to get a good night's rest. We loved this hotel. The room was so nice and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The view was great and as we sat out on the balcony we got to watch the dolpins play. I would go back to this hotel. The only negative was the breakfast....NOT good!!!! Although the people were very nice.

Found the staff to be very rude. Did not get the room that was promised and only 2 rooms left on the bottom floor. Paid for a balcony but got a patio room next to pool. Only could see Ocean if you stood on a chair or looked through a rod Iron fence and pannels of glass that surrounded the Pool area. Would be a great room for a bunch of college boys. […] No WIFI. Place was old and run down the lobby was held in a room since they were in the middle of rennovations not mentioned on site. No parking at the hotel because all rooms booked had to park in a resturant next to the hotel and walk in the dark through parking lot. Also no keypad on the doors anyone can walk into the main hallways. Not very secure. Will choose another hotel in the area. Stay in the area about 4 times a year because of family in the area will look elsewhere. Devamı

First, the hotel is undergoing a major renovation that they don't tell you about when you're making reservations. Second, the front desk staff were extremely rude when we were checking in. Third, our room smelled horribly. The smell was like a chemical-smoke smell. We opened the sliding door and turned on the AC to try and blow out the smell, which […] worked a little, but the smell was there for the majority of our stay. We had planned on spending most of our time in the room but changed our plans when we got there. I would avoid this hotel, we won't stay there again. Our ocean view room had a view of the ocean for miles - a real ocean view instead of the peek-a-boo view you would get in some hotels. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was nicely spacious. This is the kind of room where you just can be happy with sitting around, drinking a beer, and doing nothing. If you get bored with nothing there are […] endless options in the area. The Central Coast of California is amazingly beautiful and Shore Cliff Lodge is a great place to begin. Devamı

We had a great view as stated in the add. There was remodeling going on as was stated as well and did not bother us at all. The noise level was a minimum. The WIFI service was bad, probably because we were far from the office. Overall, wonderful and will come back.

Awesome ocean view from the room and balcony. Make sure to get the ocean view room. Incredible view. The hotel itself is a little aged, but they were in the process of remodeling.

Several of the rooms at this hotel are in the process of being remodeled. However, the room that was available for us was very good with a very comfortable king bed and an excellent ocean view. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very convenient for a drive up the coast. Hotel was clean and comfortable. We had the pool in between us and the cliff top view, so check your room as you book. Not that it mattered when we stayed here, as we were in the middle of a cloud and could barely see 5 ft in front of us anyway. The hotel is situated on the very nice place. Unfortunately, when we stayed there, it was foggy, and we could see these cliffs only a little. If it is sunny, it must be a very nice view :-)

Parking is not adequate...everything else was very good.

ENJOYED THE GROUNDS AND THE LOCATION ON THE EDGE OF A SMALL CLIFF. ROOM COMFORTABLE WITH ACCESS DIRECTLY TO GARDENS.. RESTAURANT BUSY AND IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE BOOKING, BUT MEAL WAS EXCELLENT WHEN WE FINALLY GOT SEATED.

Great view from our room. Too bad there isn't really beach access right in front of the hotel though. Overall it was a good deal for an ocean view room. If they allowed pets we would be staying there more often. Had to leave the dog at home this time.
