"Radisson Hotel beware of trains"
The hotel is nice and was close to our appointment with government office in down town Fresno. The is loud train noise at night. Also the resturant has a limited menu and the food we had was not pleasant. The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly.
We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay, but will continue to work on our restaurant experience to ensure guests' overall stay is the best it can be.

The check-in staff at the Radisson were very polite and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy. The hotel is nice with a very open lobby, although the front entrance was being remodeled so only the side entrances were open. The room was nice and quiet, although the bed was a Sleep Number bed and the remote didn't work very well, so the bed ended up being […] way too soft. Overall for my purposes, the hotel worked nicely and if in Fresno, I would certainly consider staying at the Radisson again. Devamı
Thank you for posting your response and though you were happy with the majority of your stay, we’d like to apologize for the issues experience with the Sleep Number Beds. We do request if a guest has a mechanical issue with the Sleep Number Bed, that they let us know so that we can fix the issue to ensure they have a comfortable night’s rest. Please note that we DO have Traditional Beds available upon request if preferred.

Spent 2 nights, the first night our bed you could feel the springs and the bed squeak ! So they gave us a sleep number bed the second night, but didn't work properly! My nightly rest was NOT comfy! Over all the Hotel is very clean and well good staff!
Though you found our hotel clean and the service from our team acceptable, on behalf of our entire team, let us apologize that you did not receive a good night's rest. It's frustrating not when things don't go exactly right, but when that happens we try our best to quickly and efficiently resolve the issues so guests can enjoy their stay. The location is perfect (directly across the street) if you are attending a convention, concert or other event at the Fresno convention center, arena or Saroyan Theater. The room we stayed in was clean and had all of the basics plus a King size Sleep Number bed. The inflating mechanism did not work on one side of the bed, so that made for an uncomfortable […] night for me. My wife was quite comfortable on the working side. The hotel is located in an area adjacent to skid row. I would not recommend walking around at night other than across the street to the convention center complex. There is a cafe inside of the hotel that serves decent food and has a better than average soup and salad bar. Other than that you will need to drive a fair distance to find something to eat. We booked our room in order to attend a concert at the Saroyan theater. I would definitely do this again and recommend this arrangement for an overnight stay to anybody who has business at the convention center annex. Devamı

Although the surrounding community (downtown-ish) seemed deserted, the area seemed very nice. It was conveniently located near the freeway. Most of all it seemed like a luxury Vegas hotel minus the casino in the middle of Fresno. The staff was very nice and the room was beautiful and up to date!

The bed was the worst I've experienced. They need to rid themselves of the dial a number beds and go back to real comfort. Would never return nor recommend to any friend.
We apologize that you did not enjoy the sleep number bed. Radisson as a brand, realizes that some guests love these beds and others really do not. This is why the Radisson Fresno has Traditional Bed guestrooms available upon request. We do hope that the rest of your stay met your needs and that you'll give us a try again, requesting a Traditional mattress.

Its a nice hotel literally across the street from the arena its a very good location.

"Quite Impressed"
I was so pleased with my hotel stay. The rooms are large and very accommodating. For the price of the room I felt like I made out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay here every time I am in the area.

Best hotel in Fresno if you need to be near the city center. Very comfortable room with nice amenities. However, the restaurant is average at best.

We are a family of five adults. We were okay in a room with two queens. As we stayed for one night, the size of the room was tolerable. The staff were very responsive when we asked for extra towels and a rollout bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only other complaints were that the coffee/tea making amenities were in the bathroom and […] it was pretty noisy with the trains and what not going past right till the early hours of the morning. "Perfect....except for the bed"
Overall, great property. Couple of exceptions.....there was an event so parking was horrible and you had to get past Security to get into the lot. But it is conveniently located next to the Convention Center so it goes with the territory. The reception staff was very nice and the hotel is nice looking, clean etc. Rooms typical Radisson, nice. BUT the […] bed, oh the bed. I called reception telling them the bed was horrific, she said is it sinking in? Yes. So she told me how to operate the Sleep Number bed (perhaps a note next to the bed would have saved reception time explaining). It sounded like the neighbors had a chain saw going when I hit the numbers to blow it up (yes it is an air mattress) and I could not get it comfortable, it was really NOT GOOD. The bed manufacturer’s fault I imagine, but don’t get a room with one is all I can say. Devamı

The only issue we had was the rudeness of the bartender. She continued to make rude comments towards my group and I. I was there on my birthday (53) and my children joined me. I had a package leaning on the post on the bar. It slid down and knocked over my drink. She stated she had to go get something to clean it up and said "try not to spill anything […] else while I'm gone" in a really rude manner. Other than that our time there was very pleasant and all the other employees were very nice and helpful Devamı

We ate breakfast at the hotel. I didn't eat at the buffet because the stack of clean dishes had food on them. Not a little bit of food but a whole pancake sticking plates together. It was gross.

"Always wonderful!"
I love this hotel. Really comfortable beds, great air conditioning. Fabulous roomy lobby/ground floor. We met friends and sat downstairs in the great open lounge area. The sound of the waterfall was very relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Fresno. We ended up staying an extra night and the staff gave us a great rate.

From arrival to departure, the staff was on their game, quick, curtious, and knowledgeable, and the biscuits and gravy from the vast, fresh, breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant were, forgive me, better than Grandma's!

"too high a price for an aged hotel"
For the price, there's no way this hotel is worth it. There were holes in the sheets, burn marks on the curtains, and mildew all over the shower. We could hear what was going on in the rooms around us and the air conditioning didn't work properly. The pool area was also in poor condition, hot tub didn't work. Breakfast was not included, however, if […] you wanted a crossant and some orange juice, for $9, they were yours. The only upgrades that have been done to it since it was built was flat screen tvs and sleep number beds. Devamı

The beds are very comfortable, the rooms relatively spacious, and the hotel has all the comforts for a business traveler. My one complaint is the wireless internet has a limited bandwith, and was very slow.

we were there for the USA wrestling tournament and there was a TON of kids there and i know the staff must have been stressed but they were amazing, courteous towards all people in our party. We will be back next year!!

If you are doing anything at the Fresno Convention center or Selland Arena this is the place to stay. It is literally across the street. There aren't a ton of great resturaunts in walking distance but it was a good trade off. I am not a big fan of the "Sleep number" beds but that could be a personal preference. The Radisson Hotel, while located conveniently to those doing business in the court system, was clean but very disappointing. On the plus side, the restaurant's food was good and the Sleep Number beds are awesome. On the negative side, the rooms are poorly designed and need an update. The bathroom is configured poorly. A few suggestions: move the coffee […] pot into the bed portion of the suite, locate the sink in the middle of the vanity, install a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, hang another mirror in the bed portion of the room so that two people could get ready at the same time. Also, a new bar of soap would be appreciated, as would a notepad, a pen, a shower cap. If you decide to visit Fresno, put those items in your suitcase! Devamı

"Downtown Fresno"
I read some of the reviews that complained about the neighborhood before my arrival. The managers who responded are correct, it is a commercial district. I did not walk around at night, but I didn't see any homeless or, really, anyone else walking around. There weren't really any nearby attractions to which I'd walk anyway. One thing, though, they don't […] usually put Jaguar/Range Rover dealerships in bad neighborhoods (one was across the street from the hotel), at least where I live. Just keep one thing in mind: You're in downtown Fresno, not Times Square in New York. The interior of the hotel and my room could have easily been mistaken for a 3 1/2 star place. The only real differences were the blankets and the bathroom (definitely 3 star). Otherwise, everything was pretty nice. No HD TV, but that is really an exception for a 3 star place, not the rule in my experiences (I travel for business a lot). The TV that *was* there could hardly be described as small, though. The only thing I would add is something I think someone else noted... there needs to be more electrical plugs in the room. I had just enough for myself, but if I was traveling with anyone else, there wouldn't have been enough. Devamı

"Pool was NOT heated, Starbucks prices were HIGH"
Inside the hotel is VERY pretty. But I did not get the picture I was shown. I believe they show you the picture of a suite then give you the smallest room. Do NOT get a room near the elevator, you hear the "ding" sound every time and people are not quiet when exiting. The room was clean. But I was truly disappointed in the heated pool being NOT heated […] and 1/2 the staff was clueless about it. My kids and I waited 30 mins for maintentence to show up to give me the 30 seconds of yeah it's broken, sorry. Had I not been mislead by the advertisement, I would have been much happier. Devamı
We sincerely apologize that you felt mislead by advertising. We have several room types from standard rooms to suites and photos are posted of the various room types. The pool heater was broken and yes, we should definitely have had a sign posted - that was our error. The pool heater has been fixed but we'll be more attentive in the future. On a happy note, we're pleased that you enjoyed the ambience of the hotel itself. Thank you for your post.
