Mercure Thalassa Regina & du Golf - Spa Experience - Biarritz

Great location, fifteen minutes gentle stroll from centre (on pathway alongside the beach if you wish). Hotel entrance is a bit shabby but staff are very helpful and interior layout is spectacular. Room was very comfortable tho bathroom decor could have done with renewal. We only ate breakfast there , express, reasonable. Good value on our deal!

we loved our stay in this hotel. when we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel itself was clean and had a great decor. our room was big and was a lovely place to come back to at the end of each day. its a short walk to the main beach (10 mins) which is part of the main tourist trail from the lighthouse to promenade. the hotel is […] slightly higher than the tourist areas so might not suit people with restricted mobility. we would definitely recommend this place to a friend and would stay here again! Cannot fault this hotel from the reception on arrival, porter to carry the bags in from the car, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, taken to our room, shown where everything is and how it worked to the decor and furnishings. Undeniably grand inside we booked on line and were given the room overlooking the golf course as the deal specified. It has pretensions - a porter came for the bags and gavce us a 'free book' on the Basque country. Then of course there was a tip to find. OK no problem, but it is still a Mercure despite the sizeable old bathrooms. Slighhtly dated decor […] now (80s/90s) with breakfasts at E20 each mean an extra £70 after two nights. They are pretty good though. Rather charatcer less now that any real sense of what may have been a significant player in the Biarritz scene years ago. I didn't eat dinner bacause I didn't feel well-disposed. It was clear the hotel wasn't full - why no upgrade - because we booked on line? This is a nice hotel with attractive features such as a large attrium. However, I thought it was a little lacking in atmosphere. We booked a room with a golf course view, but got one with a car park view. There was scaffolding around the building when we were there - including our bedroom window the first day. Food and minibar was overpriced e.g. €15 […] for an average salad & €3.50 for a small bottle of water. Service was slow when we ordered an ironing board. Hotel bien situé vue mer magnifique. Nous avons dû réclamer pour que la chambre attribuée soit conforme à la réservation: vue mer et non vue parking. Petit déjeuner excellent: copieux (buffet) et excellent ( vrai jus d'orange). Les bémols: accès wc par salle de bain--pas de mitigeur-papier toilette (recyclé 1er prix)-literie moyenne. Éviter chambre […] au deuxième étage car le 3 eme étage n'appartient pas à l hôtel. Ce sont des appartements en copropriété. Notre réveil à été ponctué de cavalcades d'enfants des 7h du matin. Bonjour, Pour avoir quelquefois fréquenté dans mon milieu professionnelle des hôtels 4 étoiles, je pense que vous en avez une de trop !!!! Insonorisation chambre de dessus, trés discutable !!! Désolé de vous dire que j'ai souhaité prendre mon petit déjeuner a l'extérieur, car en cette saison le tarif de 20 euros est excessif !!!! L'engagement vu sur […] mer non tenu !!!!! Le séjour en lui meme s'est bien passé! Nous avons trés bien été recu. En revanche; nous étions, mon ami et moi dans notre chambre dans un moment intime, et quelqu'un est rentré dans la chambre. Nous sommes allé nous plaindre à la réception, ils se sont confondus en excuses... Je pensais tout de meme recevoir un geste de leur part en guise d'excuses, […] ne serait ce qu'une coupe de champagne, mais rien du tout. De ce fait notre séjour n'a plus eu la saveur que nous souhaitions ! De plus, nous avions 2 lits simple en guise de lit double, du coup, nous avons trés mal dormi. Devamı
