execelent. friendly staff. If I rember correctly his name was sam. typically a small room. pillows and bed were comfortable. I did book it in advance as it was so cheap $31.50 aussie each for 2 people. its only a cheap taxi ride away from heart of rome. we stayed her the night before a 2 week tour of Italy. tv is up quite high we did have quite a laugh. […] why spen top dollar for a 5 star when Hotel verona has every thing you need. the breakfast was Delish and the ladies in the kitchen were very accommodating. would definalty stay here again. Hotel Verona was okay, we were disappointed that there was no lobby to relax in. The room was typical European maybe a bit larger than most. Overall we were satisfied with our stay. The staff was very friendly.

The location is good: close enough to Termini but in a slightly nicer part of town, towards everything you want to see. Room was fine but small, as seems common in Italy. However, breakfast was uninspiring, the 10 am checkout was too early, and the internet did not work in our room.

The hotel was nice. Across the street is a nice resturant with great pizza. The hotel staff were very helplfull in assisting us in changing our plane reservations. It is also within walking distance to the train station.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff were wonderful. We were made to feel like special guests. I wish I could remember all their names. Their recommendations of restaurants and places to go were most helpful. The room was a little cramped but nice. We had planned couple of day trips so being located within a five minute walk of Termini Station […] was plus. We are already planning a return trip and would stay at Hotel Verona - Rome again. Chosen the hotel for its location and was not disappointed. Close to Colosseum, Fora and Termini Station for all types of transport. Small basic rooms, comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels, basic continental breakfast with time allocation. The room would have benefited from some cleaning. Basic hotel for a short stay.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, economical price, and super locatin are what makes this hotel an excellent choice. The only fault I found was that, it could be my imagination, but the floor in our bedroom felt a little dusty(?) underfoot. But that's really nit-picking. Everything else was, for the price, perfect!

The hotel staff were lovely - friendly and helpful. The room was rather basic and 'tired' looking - not much room to move about! Bed was really comfy though. We didn't discover the the air con until the morning we left and although the heating wasn't on - the room was very warm most of the time. The bathroom was cramped and the shower area was too small […] - so the curtain stuck to you and water went all over the floor. The balcony was great - but unfinished wall made it look really tatty. Too expensive for what it offers. It was clean but the room was small and the bathroom smelled bad. Poor internet connection (only 50 Mb available for free). The only really good thing was the central location, and the availability and friendliness of the stuff.

The hotel was in a nice clean neighborhood. The breakfast was wonderful. I would suggest picking an earlier breakfast time since they may run out of bread for toast. We rode the sightseeing bus around the city and one of the stops was 1/2 block from the hotel.

Walking distance from Termini (train station). Close to restaurants, in fact; restaurant next door was outstanding! Front desk was great, rooms were very clean and had all the bells & whilstles for the price.....we would highly recommend this little hotel.......well located! Bathrooms were tiny, but who cares!

The absence of blankets on the bed a little concerting with only a sheet and a thin bedspread to combat the absence of heat during the night and rising early in the morning to a chilly room and bathroom did not start the day well.

Do not expect the American comfort, like big spaces,restaurants and big lobby. It is Europe and the most important it is Rome. In my opinion the most important of this Hotel was the quality of the people working in the entrance and how gentile they were after somebody stolen my wallet at the Termini Station,by the way be careful when you are there. […] Alessandro is the owner, he approached to me and offer any kind of help possible,he was very helpful and give us free Internet to call home and blocked the credit cards. Also offered me going to the military police to do the report. Breakfast was ok, nothing extraordinary,but works. The hotel is close to any way of transportation,metro,train,bus,taxis are just in the corner of Santa Maria de Magiore. We used taxis and from downtown we paid no more than 10 Euros,no too bad for 3 people. Well I think if you are going to Rome, you will expend time visiting places. Maybe the only thing they can update the mattresses, my wife didn't like them. Good luck and be very carefull with your wallet, put inside you if is possible,no in any pocket! The hotel was in a great location but breakfast was not as great. We only got one portion of ham and cheese and was not allowed more even thought it was supposed to be a buffet breakfast. Overall experience at the hotel was good.

We stayed at the hotel twice with a trip to Florence in between. The first room was very small with a tiny bathroom which was not as comfortable. Our second room was large with a balcomy and more modern bathroon. The staff were excellent and very helpful for all our needs. Would recommend this hotel.

Small hotel with friendly helpful staff. Great location - 5 minute walk from Termini and 7 minute walk from the Coloseum. Buy your own drinks to take back to their terrace. Free wifi also a bonus.

Hotel location was prime selling point. Room itself was adequate; first floor facing street. Asked for two beds; got one bed and second was a lumpy sofa sleeper. Bathroom suffered from drain smell not uncommon in old parts of cities in Europe. Room floor was dirty, asked to get it cleaned and it was done later same day. Small, very bright "puck" lights […] around mirrors in bath and room offered poor light. Hair dryer was tube style that quickly became too hot to hold. Breakfast offerings very skimpy--worst of three week trip through Italy; dry cereal, machine dispensed hot beverages, pastries, breads and spreads. Canned peaches only fruit available. Meat and cheese plate available for the asking. Free wi-fi is limited to 50 Mb per day, which didn't allow security updates to be completed #unlimited access available for a fee#. I liked the location of the stay, about a 15-20 minute walk to the colleseum, about an hour walk to the vatican museum, everything was walkable... The comfort of the bed was not good, I like a med to soft bed and the bed was very hard like sleeping on the floor, so I didn't get much sleep, but overall the cleanliness of the room was excellent and the […] breakfast was just crossants, salamie, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, coffee, and juice was just okay compared to other hotels we stayed at... The hotel was clean & the staff was helpful. The only problem was the elevator stopped at the middle level of 2 floors, you had to drag the suitcase 8 steps to reach to your floor.

Small hotel but it worked for us. Only stayed one day with 3 people and the room only had one bed with a chair that made a small bed. Breakfast was good and had a good location just down the street from the terminal.

Hotel Verona was the perfect hotel for our requirements, and we had a great stay there. Travelling with 2 small children is never simple, but the quadruple room at Hotel Verona was spacious, and the staff made our stay that much simpler. The hotel is a quick walk away from the Colosseum, and conveniently located if one wishes to spend time in the central […] areas of Rome. Piazza Navona, Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps and the beautiful areas around the Trevi Fountain were all within short distance, although we opted to take cabs quite a lot so as to preserve the energy of the children for as long as possible. Excellent service from guy on reception as the first room we were booked for had a problem with a non-stop running water from the cistern of the toilet! We were moved to another room which was quiet and roomy. Very clean bathroom, free wi-fi. Breakfast was good enough, though the muesli tasted of cardboard! I was pleasantly surprised to find this a very nice hotel with HUGE bathroom and an actual tub/shower with GLASS instead of a stinky shower curtain (rare in Italy in this price range). The room was clean and very quiet. The A/C was clearly not powerful enough for the room size. That said, we were there during a heatwave, so under normal circumanstances […] that might have been ok. But if you need your room cold, do not book this hotel during the summer! Breakfast was served by a very sweet young lady that was so concerned that our children ate enough and liked the food. The reception staff was unremarkable, except for one Egyptian staff member at night reception that was incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming. The hotel is 5 mins. away from Roma Termini station and very close to one of the basillicas and hence location wise it is really a good place to be. The rooms are decent size and have air-conditions in it. The mini- bar was an empty fridge. The breakfast is ok but ham/salami and eggs are only provided if you ask the lady in the kitchen. The hotel is small, with a small elevator and small rooms, just what you would expect. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Within a few blocks of everything you need, a supermarket, lots of resturants, the subway and the Colosseum.

The hotel was conveniently located minutes away from Santa Maria Maggiore and easy to navigate back to when out walking. A short walk to many of the famous sites around Rome. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel clean and room comfortable. Would definitiely stay there again.

I booked a quadruple room for me and my friends, for 4 adults. But the room was a double room with one king size bed and one sofa bed. The sofa bed was so bad, that after laying on the bed for a few minutes my leg went numb. We had to sleep on the sofa bed sideways, but that way the bed was too short. But it was the only option. Immediately when I saw […] the room, I asked the man in the reception for a mattress or better bed, but he said that it would have been only possible if ordered in advance. This was of course impossible to do, because in advance I thought there were beds for 4 adults, as ordered. 'The room was tried to clean well, but some more effort could have been taken.The price was relatively high compared to other hotels in Rome. And the Wifi did not work, and no courtesy slippers were offered… The bed sheets were king size… I mean one big sheet for two people. It’s ok, if you are sleeping on the bed with your boy/girlfriend or a close friend, but I was with a friend of a friend and it felt quite unconfourtable. Devamı
