I have stay at this property about 10 times since the beginning of 2012. The hotel consistently exceeds standards in all categories. The rooms are clean and comfortable and include micro, fridge HD TV. All staff are helpful, friendly and accomodating. My son loves the pool and the afternoon cookies. We were there for a memorial service for two relatives who died within 3 days of each other. The relatives who arranged the memorials lived in Somers and the closest hotel was yours. It was very nice and the people who work there were nice and friendly.

Great location - easy off - easy on from Rt 84. Clean, and good size room. Convenient to Chuck's Steakhouse - local, family owned and better than the chains.

I was looking for a place close to Danbury just for an overnight getaway with some girl friends. I could not have been more happy with this hotel. I called up the evening before our arrival to see about an early check-in, and they said no problem. We had two smokers in our group, so they put us on the first floor near the "Smoker's Oasis" (which has […] heaters ) so the ladies would be comfortable. We asked for a late check-out and again it was no problem. So after a lovely breakfast buffet with omlettes to order, we were able to relax until 1:30 when we finally checked out. I wrote the following to Hilton Customer Service and received no response, so I thought I would post here. (keep in mind this hotel has always been great except this one visit!!) While in the Danbury area, I have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on weekends since I discovered how nice it was back on my first stay back in January of this year. I have […] returned about a half dozen times since for a total of about 9 or 10 nights. The staff are great! The rooms are always very clean. The breakfast is great! That being said, I do have some negative comments concerning my most recent stay this past weekend. The major issue concerned the refrigerator in our room. I purchased about $12 worth of fruit and vegetables that were froze solid and ruined by the refrigerator in room 148. I notified the front desk and the gentleman working the evening of March 10th was very nice to talk to and offered me breakfast coupons for the morning and assured me that the refrigerator would be looked at my maintenance staff. He said he would put the breakfast coupons under our door that night. We received the bill under our door, but no breakfast coupons. We had to depart early the next day and I did not have time to call the front desk to complain again, so we just left. I guess he forgot. I am really annoyed by this and that is why I am writing customer service. Since we are on the subject of constructive criticism, I have other things that I found annoying during this last stay. The pool needed to be vacuumed...there was a fair amount of dirt in the bottom. The whirlpool tub did not work as it had during our past visits. The pressure coming from the jets was not working normally. The water in the fitness center would not dispense water. All of the above, I feel are not normal for this property (I would not have come back 9 or 10 times if it were the case). I just would hate to see the above anomalies in service make this property undesirable. I will be in need of accommodations in the Danbury Devamı

The room had a thermostat, which sounds simple, but is vastly superior to having a window heater blow on you all night long. The bed had an adjustable air mattress which I found surprisingly comfortable. The TV was a good sized lcd with plenty of stations. There was also a microwave and refrigerator. The Hilton Garden Inn in Danbury has a perfect location for an easy-off easy-on travel stay, located directly adjacent to Rt 84. Low noise level from highway. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good cookies. Nearby up-scale strip mall with good access to Starbucks, Trader Joe's and pharmacy. For Dinner, nearby Chuck's Steak House is always a winner.

We lost power for a week. After staying w relatives for 6 days we were getting antsy and wanting to be closer to home. It was impossible to find a hotel anywhere. Hotels.com found us a room right away. It was close to home and the price was right and even had an indoor swimming pool for kids. Front desk was especially nice and understanding. wonderful location and very clean hotel- my only wish is that they had the breakfast set up before 7am- i would imagine that most persons staying here, are on their way very early-

Limited amenities, but clean, well-maintained and pleasant surroundings at a reasonable price. Recommended

The hotel is conveniently located to Route 84; however, if noise is a concern, ask for a room away from the highway side. The mattresses are high and unyielding. An attempt is made to soften the top, but if pressure points is an issue, it will seem hard. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and clean.

Great location adjacent to Rt 84 - easy off easy on. Nice access to local shops. A definite stay on our frequent trips between DC and Boston. Try Chuck's Steakhouse nearby - way better than the steak chains.

Would like to see a little more attention to detail. Booked a non-smoking room, ended up with a smoking room that had bad air conditioning. I've stayed here a number of times and it's normally pretty good. This was the first time I was a little disappointed.

I stayed here back in february, and my room was on the 1st floor and it was great. This time, I was on the 2nd floor and my room was not as new. The smell was not nice, the bathroom had wooden paneled floor in it instead of tiling and the temp was hard to control. This hotel is renovating and working hard to maintain its look in spite of the ongoing work. The room was clean, except for the floor in the bathroom which may have been construction stains that were overlooked. Overall, we have stayed at Hilton Garden Inns in other locations and feel we can depend on its quality.

Location is walking distance to CVS pharmacy, Trader Joes, Starbucks and liquor store. Extremely convenient location. Very nice treadmills and indoor pool.

We stayed here for two nights for a wedding, and could not have been happier with our stay. Even though they were doing construction/remodeling, it didn't affect our comfort at all. This was a significant upgrade and value from other places I have stayed Danbury. Staff was excellent, room was great but there is NO sound proofing in the doors. I could hear everything in the hallway and even in the room(s) across the hall - at all hours. The shower water pressure was terrible! Very disappointing! Excellent Stay! We stayed 3 nights at the Hilton. Hotel was in a great location and close to the mall. We would definitely stay again!

In short, it's not a luxury hotel, but it has the feel of it. The rooms were very nice and comfy. The staff was WONDERFUL; very accommodating and the free coffee and fruit was just a really nice unexpected touch. We loved it!

This hotel exceeded my expectations for the value price I was able to get it for. The rooms were in great condition, the tv was beautiful, and the rooms had a nice smell to them. They have a pantry that you can get items from at any time, and it doesn't hurt to be able to get room service during your stay. I would stay here again.

This was a wonderful surprise in that it was exactly as described - a luxury hotel - looked brand new - convenient to highway - wonderfully comfortable beds - no smelly bleach on the sheets (yuck!).
