Second stay at this hotel. Excellent location and breakfast buffet is unbeatable (included in the rate). I have seen some people complaining about the hotel's taxi service being too expensive, but that's anywhere around the world. Hotel Internet is the biggest problem I had (also mentioned in other reviews). In my case, WiFi did not work in the room at all during the 2 weeks stay. Then for the last 3 days, the room phone is not working because of network trouble. My co-worker's room phone has not been working all these time. Great place, staff was super friendly. Walking distance to Parque de la 93, and breakfast was fabulous daily!

I do travel quite alot and I found this hotel to have very good service. Though I don't speak spanish, most of the staff did have a basic knowledge of english. There are extra charges that they don't talk about on the site and the telephone charges are extreem. Overall I would recommend the hotel. I am really startled by the low grade this hotel has received from users!! I travel a lot throughout North, Central and South America and this hotel is really nice! Location is really good (close to big avenues, not too far North and not too close to downtown). Surroundings are safe. Employees are really courteous and helpful. I thought this hotel was way overpriced. It was advertised as queen sized bed with a pillowtop mattress. This was not the case. The mattress was a little hard and there was no pillowtop whatsoever. Worst of all, the previous guest had raided the minibar and it had not been restocked. There was even a bottle of water that was only 1/4 full in the little […] fridge. Didn't know what to expect going to Bogota for the first time but after arrivnig at Casa Dann Carlton, I was so happy that I choose this hotel for our short stay. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the staff was extremely friendly and took great pride in their apperance. The common areas were so clean. The breakfast buffett is unlike any other […] I have experienced anywhere I have traveled. It put any hotel in the U.S, which includes breakfast with room, to shame. The spa was a nice treat which was included in the price of the room. The location was a little to north for everything we wanted to do but there were always cabs or car service handy, no matter what time of day. Stayed in the Imperial Suite and my only complaints are that it would have been nice for the Fireplace to work i.e a gas log. There were no glasses to drink out of so we had to call room service to deliver ice and glasses. Don't know if it's a South American thing but no wash clothes available. Had trouble finding waste baskets throughout the suite. Overall, it was a great stay and if I were to go back to Bogota, I would certainly consider staying here again. We were treated like we were at a Five-Star property and because of that, it made it very difficult to leave for the day to sight see and when it was time to check out. Devamı

For a hotel in this price range you would and should expect more. I do not reccomend anyone stay here. The beds are very uncomfortable and sheets are rough. The water pressure was constantly fading. Overall service deplorable. I have never experienced a hotel with such low value for the price. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. Im very sorry to say that my stay at the hotel was totally awful. 1) The room was unacceptable. More 2 * than 3 *. The room had a view of a wall and a air conditioning unit, which 'hummed' all night and prevented me sleeping. 2) The tap on the shower ejected rusty coloured water when initially turned on. 3) Most worringly, the porters were only interested […] in receiving tips. After being rude to me, I obviously refused a tip. Then when a taxi was called, the taxi driver gave the porter some money. I thought this strange, but stuck with it. Then the driver drove around for ages. When he finally stopped, he damanded a huge price. When I challenged it, he refused to let me go. Fortunately a police officer was close by and she came to my rescuse, only to find that the taxi driver was unlicensed. Why did the porter call me an unlicensed taxi driver? Why did an unlicensed taxi driver give the porter money? Totally unacceptable. Devamı

The suite I requested was very nice if a bit cold but extra blankets were available. The location is not very central for restaurants, bars etc but the breakfast more than makes up for these shortcomings.

Casa Dann was an excellent hotel. Staff was very nice and professional, lobby appearing elegant, hotel room was beautiful. The down sides are the wireless internet was spotty. We had to be in the bathroom to get a "decent" signal. The cable that is available in the room, the clip was broken so it wouldn't stay in the ethernet port and attempting to […] hold it in the signal would waver...you could see in the grout in the shower that it is stained and somewhat unappealing to see. I had been in hotels in colombia before that offered items in the fridge that you can eat and pay for, those hotels were not as nice, but they still offered these items. I was appalled to see the price of the items at Casa Dann though. One i remember was the small combo pack, after converting the peso to dollar it came out to be $4.81. There was snickers, etc and they were equally extremely expensive. All in all other then the little items this was a very nice hotel to stay at. Devamı

Casa Dann Carlton is a huge hotel but is still a convenient and friendly place to stay in Bogota for business. The room is comfortable and the internet works (most of the time). Excelente hotel, muy buena ubicación cerca del parque de la 93, aunque un poco ruidoso porque queda sobre una calle principal. El bar en el techo y el restaurante, muy buenos!

Luksus til en fornuftig pris og deilig frokost. Dette hotellet er er godt utgangspunkt for et godt opphold i Bogota. Kort vei Transmilenio. Området er trygt. Servicen på hotellet et upåklagelig.

Embora o Hotel ostente uma certificação de 5 estrelas não aparenta, hotel meio velho, e quarto escuro e meio fechadão, não dá para saber por exemplo se o dia está bonito ou chuvoso, não sei se reservaram os piores quartos para as reservas de internet, pois o preço é metade do preço estampado na tabela de check-in. a estrutura de piscina e spa é bem […] legal e nova. e a localização também é boa perto do parque 93, é considerado como uma referencia pelo menos com as pessoas que pude conversar. um outro ponto negativo é que a circulação de eventos externos é muito grande, muita gente entrando e saindo, gera um pouco de desconforto. bom é isso.
