Hotel Barcelona - Lizbon

We had a quick layover in Lisbon. Front desk staff were informative and nice. Room was comfortable and we were pretty close to the airport.

It is not a 4 star hotel, perhaps 3. But rather cheap for cleanliness and comfort. Taxi costs €8-10 from/to the airport. A metro station is very close. I walked to the city center and it takes 45 min. Better to take a cab or metro.

This is a really friendly,well located,great value hotel.I've stayed here many times when using Lisbon Airport.Although it's in the middle of the business district there are plenty of bars and restaurants about,with a number of metro stations within walking distance.

Everything about the hotel is pretty great. Only issues are: 1) Paying for wifi seems a little silly and 2) Its location is a little off the beaten path. If it's your first time in Lisbon, I would really recommend staying in the Baixo area to get a feel for the city. While the VIP Barcelona is a good hotel, there aren't any good restaurants nearby - […] just a Pizza Hut. Hotel is very Nice, organized, clean. But the service was very poor. My parents were older, and the women in front desk was rude, ignore them. Not friendly at all. I have travelled with business almost continuously for nearly 30 years (working on the European Golf Tour) and I really like this hotel ! The staff are friendly and efficient and the room rate with Hotels.com is brilliant ! The hotel is handy for the airport by taxi,bus and now Metro and has everything you need in a hotel for a great price.It might […] not be the most 'fancy' hotel in the world,and for luxury the Radisson Blue for €25 a night more may suit some people better,but I find it hard (if not impossible) to beat this hotel for value for money !!! Great value for people passing by Lisbon. Was stuck for one day with my dog and they gave me a room with a terrace :O) The room has all the required to have a confortable stay without the lush ;O) and in bonus FREE INTERNET!!

Close to the airport and public transportation (6 euro taxi ride from the hotel to Terminal 1), friendly English-speaking staff, and general overall cleanliness. However, wi-fi wasn´t free. This hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful -I notified them of our late arrival, they greeted us by name when we walked in -they printed out our boarding passes after i did online check-in for our departing flight from Lisbon. I had a very large accommodation, which I was pleasantly surprised about. As expected, the design is a bit old fashioned, but that is not a problem. My problem was with some lying dangerous bulks and metallic materials on the balcony. I stayed there for two nights. I only had one breakfast there though, as it the quality and choice of food was shocking. […] Gone off, stinking ham - have never experienced that in any hotels I ever stayed in! So, next morning I went to a cafe next door for breakfast. Which was cheaper, and food was fresh. Hotel does not offer room service. There was no information leaflets in my room about food and any other services. Asked them to give me some - did not get it. My friend has asked them to come up to my room the first evening to help me order dinner, as I had a baby and could not leave her there. No one came, so that night I went to bed without dinner. After this hotel, I stayed in a 3 star hotel, which was much better. Devamı

Very nice hotel.Frankly I did not expect such a good hotel in this price.Staff was very helpful and friendly.Room was cleaned daily and there was an almost lavish buffet breakfast.Downtown very near through metro or easy bus ride.Free use of computer in lobby with reasonable internet charges.For me this hotel was perfect.I will certainly stay there […] if I go back. This is an ok hotel - the staff are helpful and friendly but it is need of modernising and minor repairs (eg several cracked tiles / shower had been replaced but old one still there / safe in first room not working). The location is good for getting into the centre of Lisbon (metro near by plus main bus route to/from airport).

I stayed in this hotel for Chistmas vacation and New Year. Hotel staff is nice and rooms and service is good. Nothing is going on at the hotel, so you must go out for coffee and food. There is a lot of small traditional portugese coffee bares close to the hotel, but restaurants, shopping and entertainment is missing - you have to take the metro a few […] minutes to get to all the fun. Chambre confortable, même si le décor est un peu vieillot. Réceptionnistes aidants. L'hôtel n'est pas situé au centre de l'action de Lisbonne, mais à proximité d'un métro. Bon rapport qualité-prix grâce au tarif offert sur hotels.com.

All'arrivo alla reception il chek-in piuttosto lento, ma poi nessun problema. La pulizia era quotidiana ed ottima, con cambio biancheria giornaliero. L'unico inconveniente era lo scarico del wc che perdeva acqua di continuo...Ci avevano proposto la prima colazione ad €8,50 a persona, ma abbiamo optato per la pasticceria di fronte...con 4 € colazione […] ottima per due! Alla partenza non ci hanno fatto pagare l'acqua, che sul modulo era a pagamento. Lo consiglio a tutti, è tranquillo e ben collegato all'aeroporto ed al centro (metro, bus, taxi). Devamı

alles soweit ok, nur der safe war nicht funktionstuechtig. lage eher am flughafen als an der innenstadt gelegen. taxis nehmen unterschiedliche wege. wlan z.t. unterbrochen.

Muy buena. Como único inconveniente que la ventana de la habitación estaba rota y no se podía cerrar, lo que no impedía que molestara en exeso el ruido de los aviones.

Sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter bei jeder Art von Problemen. Vom Altstadtzentrum etwas entfernt, aber dadurch auch nachts sehr ruhig. Metrostation nur 5 Min. entfernt. Gute Frühstücksauswahl.

robinet qui fuit, carte d'ouverture de la porte a cessé de fonctionné 2 jours avant la fin du séjour, le personnel très gentil comme tous les Portugais que nous avons croisés, serviable et souriant même si certains ne parlaient pas français ils essayaient toujours de nous servir au mieux.

Hotel un po' fuori dal centro città, vicino però all'aeroporto e alla stazione sia del treno che della metropolitana(400mt). che collega il centro città in 10 minuti
