Friendly staff, great location in the heart of south beach

Lovely decor, good location and very nice staff. Miguel told us about Espanola Way which was a really nice place for dinner--great atmosphere--far better than Lincoln Road or beach strip.

the only things I can complain is that in the price, that are not cheap should be at least a breakfast included.

The staff was very friendly, it was def in a great location of south beach.

What an amazing place to stay, helped by the fact that we were upgraded to a suite. As soon as we walked through the door the staff were friendly and gave us a lot of information about what they had to offer. Our room was just off Ocean Drive across the road from a busy club but this did not have any negative impact as the windows kept all the noise […] out with the exception of the bin trucks in the morning. The room was very comfortable and was always cleaned everytime we were out, fresh towels every day and the fresh fruit on arrival is a nice touch as all we ate was junk food on our trip out. I have to admit this is has been a exceptional experience. The free wifi and beach loungers are a big bonus too and only a short walk from the hotel. Devamı

we arrived at the hotel early because we just finished our cruise. Our room was not ready but we were allowed to go to the rooftop pool and order drinks and lunch and wait until our room was ready. Everybody was so helpful and friendly from the time we stepped out of the taxi until we checked out. We will definitely stay here again. Wow - fantastic hotel , great service, located right in the middle of everything, excellent staff. Very very highly recommended!!!!!!

Can't beat the location. Little small but makes up for it with a cool roof top pool.

A problem with our reservation (our fault) was resolved by the helpful desk staff! The concierge had several excellent suggestions for us. All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel and room were just fine. location great.

We stayed for 2 days and were pleased with the location and condition of the hotel The rooms are small but efficient and comfortable. The rooftop pool was great. We self-parked our car at a garage one block away. The staff were very helpful. Where the action is was only one block away but the noise was negligible.

Loved our few days in Miami. Breakfast by the rooftop pool was wonderful. Hotel was well-placed for all of South Beach's attractions. Concierge was very helpful with great local knowledge. One downer was that we were charged for the jellybeans left in the room - it wasn't clear they were chargeable, we thought they were complimentary.

Very well located hotel, one block from Ocean Drive, in the Art Deco district and Miami Beach shopping district. All staff very friendly and service very good. Noise is no problem at all, because you're a block away from Ocean Drive. Free use of towels and sun loungers on the beach was most welcome. Bars and restaurants at Espanola Way and Lincoln Road […] represent better value than Ocean Drive and are a short taxi ride or 20 minute walk away Wi-Fi only worked intermittently in room, but overall would highly recommend this hotel Devamı

Our hotel stay was great. The staff were helpful and friendly and the location was perfect. The hotel itself is older, but I think that adds to the character. The rooms are up to date and eclectic. It wasn't spotless clean, but it was by no means bad. Overall, I was very happy with my stay here!

My sister married on the roof deck last year and we came back for vacation for Christmas. The hotel room was great #309 except there is some continual buzz sound in the walls. The pool deck is beautiful and the staff is great. This is the best art deco experience we have had in Miami.

Stayed here during a trip to Miami to see an old friend. We arrived mid afternoon only to find that our room wasn't ready - the staff were apologetic and offered us free drinks which was OK, but not a good start. The room itself overlooked Collins Ave and the overall impression of the room was at best adequate; my wife described it as grotty. We […] were only here for one night, so it wasn't too bad - if we had planned to stay longer, I think we might have been seeking an alternative. The area around the hotel is great - if you are here for the experience of South Beach then this hotel is fine, otherwise think again. Devamı

Very Nice place... perfect location, staff was very courteous.. had a vallet parking, rooms were very nice.... comfortable bed... definitely stay again..

The hotel staff were very helpful and charming. They not only welcomed us to an early check-in but they ensured that we had acomfortable room with a view. The roof-top pool was lovely. Great location in South Beach close to beach and activities.

even for a couple the room was small, almost like a cabin on cruise ship, the location on south beach was great though and the lobby and roof top deck and pool were awesome. I'd stay there again if i had a bigger room or the room i had was cheaper.

The people were very friendly and helpful.

We were looking forward to our second visit to the Hotel - first time we loved it. Location is ideal, rooftop bar amazing. This time around? The hotel is looking rather run down and tired - our room needed paint, new carpet and an update in terms of decor. Staff service was fine, (very pleasant and eager to assist) however I think they were understaffed. […] The hotel restaurant is closed, you can order breakfast and room service, but the restaurant at the front of the hotel is closed off. A disappointing experience - we'll likely try somewhere else the next time. Devamı

Great hotel! The staff was very nice, especially the concierge John. He's incredibly helpful and sweet! Also, the restaurant is amazing. Only thing that bothered me was housekeeping coming so many times, I don't know why they couldn't complete everything at once.

The staff was friendly. It was solo weekend trip. The staff made good recommendations on local spots. Great location near all the SoBe spots. My favorite was the Saturday morning Yoga in front of the rooftop pool overlooking the ocean. It looks just like the pics. Having the beach chair was great also. I'll will definitely stay there again.

This was my frist trip to South Beach and I loved it. The Hotel was great--particularly enjoyed the roof top pool. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it.

The staff were as friendly and as helpful as they come. The location is fantastik.Pay for the valet parking,worth the extra few bucks.The elevator was not working.My TV remote was not working.Everything else was fine.

Love the area and the room was very clean! Great view from the balcony! Staff was GREAT and very friendly! Definitely recommended..

A friend and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Hotel of South Beach recently. We arrived in Miami early, around 10am, and surprisingly our room was ready. We spend the day by the pool, which was relaxing and not crowded...plenty of empty cabanas and chairs were available. The front desk and concierge were always helpful and friendly, and check-out was […] effortless. The rooms were nice and had everything we needed. This is a fantastic hotel to be right in the middle of the art deco district. One block to Ocean drive where all the action happens and across fromt he beach. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as shopping. The staff are very accomodating and pointed me to excellent dining and where to go to get the quality imported rum I wanted to take home for my […] husband. Very enjoyable stay with a nice courtyard and pool on the roof with a view. I will return with friends in January 2012. Devamı

Loved The Hotel and its Art Deco architectural style. We weren't disappointed at all. Very nice staff, loved the bar. The room was spacious, bathroom small. The only complaint is that we could hear foot steps in the room above us, which woke us up.

"The Hotel" @ collins & 8 was bettter than i expected.... i loved the location the staff was very friendly and helpful.... especially "Alicia" the front desk receptionist.... The roof top swimming pool was beautiful you can see the beach perfectly...The location is in the center of Ocean Dr... I love this hotel so much i booked it again 2 weeks lat […] er... Devamı

The Hotel in SoBe is a gem....a wonderful boutique establishment with a commitment to service if not a WoW experience. Will do this many more times....it was wonderful, from the room, the front desk, to the top deck and pool and WISH, a cool restaurant. Treat yourself...stay there! Luis

When asked for an upgrade, they where able toaccomodate...rooms are a bit small but VERY central to South Beach...a lttle get away place...Must eat at Restaurant...food a bit pricey for locals but very good
