Great hotel, great location, great staff, and great breakfast!

The rooms stinks a lot, the rooms are not very big, feels like 6squeremeters. The lobby is great and the hotel location too.

Very basic standard, not more than 2-3 stars. Rooms are old and small. The only good thing about this hotel is location.

Very basic service and comfort, not 3 stars. Small rooms, the whole hotel seems like renewed many many years ago. The only good thing about this hotel is its location.

The hotel was great value for money with only 5 minutes walk from KaDeWe. We stayed friday to monday and everything was fine during the weekend but on monday morning (8:00 AM) the current renovation work started with heavy machinery going off and making it impossible for us to sleep or even communicate with each other in our room. We asked thrice the […] hotel staff to stop the noise but each time it only lasted for 15 minutes. The staff was nice but none the less we didn't get any sleep and was forced to leave early due to the noise. We would recommend to check with the hotel whether the renovation work has been completed before booking a room. Devamı

staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, neighborhood is unsightly with street walkers patch nearby during the night, although we felt safe all the time, noisy street in front of the hotel.

We were surprised about the quality of the room, for the price paid at this prime location. The hotel is modern with a business-like and efficient air, and our room was large and well equipped (although no A/C which, however, proved not to be a disadvantage given the time of the year - September). Shopping is a few blocks away, so if you're going to Berlin to buy stuff? Stay here. If you're going to see the sights of the city, choose elsewhere.

This was a perfect choice of hotel for us (two adults). It was two blocks south of the Tiergarten and for those who like to walk, easy walking to almost everything you would want to see. We took the underground to Charlottenburg Palace, however, and then walked back. We had booked our room online, staying on the top floor (16th) in room #9 (169 was […] the actual number). The room faced toward the Dome, with fabulous views to many city landmarks. The room was huge (by European standards) with full kitchen and fridge, although no dishes or cutlery. Clean, quiet, bright, comfortable. Booking online saved us a considerable amount over the walk-in rate. We did not have breakfast in the hotel (10 Euros each) choosing instead to walk down the street and have a very good breakfast at half the price. Parking is extra (12 euros /day) but easy to access and secure. Free internet on hotel computers. We heartily recommend this hotel/room to others. Devamı

There could be a consideration for offering as added value free wifi facilities in room as many other hotels of the same category do. Having stayed 7 days , a regular change of the food items on the breakfast buffet would be most welcomed . Having to eat the same stuff everyday becomes heavy after some days and leaves an unpleasant taste .

Small and a bit worn, but practical, quiet and clean room for 1 person i 5th floor. Nice location, 5 min walk to U-bahn and KADEWE. Friendly atmosphere

EXCELLENT HOTEL, GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, VERY CLEAN AND CENTRAL TO EVERYWHERE, RIGHT ON THE BUS ROUTE AND JUST ROUND THE CORNER FROM THE U BAHN AND KA DE WE SHOPPING CENTRE, ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT, GOOD INTERNET ACCESS AND BREAKFAST, OVERALL I NEVER HAD 1 COMPLAINT WITH THE HOTEL AND WOULD DEFINETELY RECOMMEND IT,

Our room was big, the bed comfy. The windows opened wide. We needed to check in early, as we got in at 6:30 AM on the overnight train from Malmö and could not shower on the train. Alas, they had no room until at least noon. But, once we got in, we enjoyed the room immensely. The bathroom and shower were huge -- best shower we had on our three week […] trip IMHO. We added the breakfast option to our room at check-in, and the breakfast buffet seemed worth it. I've paid more for worse, that's for sure. The hotel is one of the best in a major European capital. It is close to KaDeWe (the MAJOR dept store in Berlin) and the number 100 bus which can take you to most major attractions in the city. THe breakfast buffet is superb. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Located near the 5-star Intercontinental, but for far less I ended up with a suite, including a bedroom, living room, and kitchen. I don't know if this was a fortuitous upgrade, or if all the rooms are like this. The zoo and Tiergarten are a couple of minutes away--great for running! When we got to the hotel we were upgrated to a better room for free. We didn't pay a lot of money as it was, so it was a pleasant surprise to spend three night in a spacious apartment with kitchen, overlooking thr city. Staff was extremely helpful. We enjoyed candy on the pillows and at the reception desk. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, […] and the hotel itself is close to major sightseeings. On the down side breakfast and internet were overpriced, so we didn't use neither. Kitchen in the room didn't have any utensils. There is renovation going on on the ground floor. Hotel needs some improvement to feel more cozy, perhaps more pictures on the walls. But overall, of course, it was a great stay. Devamı

When I stayed at this hotel, it was undergoing extensive renovations which were a little noisy and intrusive. i was not advised of this before travel. However, the first class service, politeness and helpfulness from the staff was exceptional. The guest room was cleaned to a high standard. I thought the hotel was very well located. It was just a 5-10 […] minute walk to the aquarium, zoo and zoo main station. The hotel is in a good position and staff are generally quite friendly. The rooms are small but clean. The appliances are very old but working. The main downside is the terribly soft (very old?) mattress. We had the same problem in both rooms. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment works, so hopefully they will replace them. Familjevänligt och väldigt lugnt hotell på den lugna gatan Kurfurstenstrasse. Bodde med min familj på 2 barn i en svit på 65 kvm, 1 stort sovrum, vardagsrum med extra sängar, stor toalett, kök som dock saknade bestick och andra köksredskaper, hade endast tillgång till några koppar och tallrikar. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal och jättegod frukost som […] dock inte kunde beställas hemifrån, fick köpas på plats. Lite dyrt men rekomenderas varmt!! Observera att hotellet ligger en bit ifrån sevärdheterna men 100 bussen går precis utanför entrén till Alexanderplatz, smidigt och bra!! Du bor nära Berlin Zoo och köpcentrumet KaDeWe. Kommer man med egen bil så finns det parkeringar, dock inte gratis. Hotellet har även ett datarum med tillgång till gratis internet. Under våran vistelse i Berlin passade vi även på att besöka badlandskapet Tropical Island som ligger ca 6 mil utanför stan. Värt ett besök som uppskattas av både stora och små! Devamı

Fint hotel med en nyere del samt samt en ældre del. Vi havde en junior suite med køkken, hvor der var fin mulighed for at lave mad selv, dog skal man selv have ALT køkkengrej med selv! Vi boede på 13. sal med super udsigt over byens tage samt mange seværdigheder...Gode muligheder for at spise ude morgen, middag og aften. Der er parkering med bom.

Rigtig godt og billigt hotel, selv i påsken. Med super beliggenhed og bus 100 lige uden for døren.

Das Einzelzimmer hätte etwas grösser sein können , aber es war alles vorhanden. Das Bad war sehr schön .Alles sehr sauber. Sehr nettes Personal und Service.

Ce hôtel est en très bonne état. Mais malheureusement certain partie est en construction...donc il y a énormément de bruit la matinée à partir de 8h du mat. Sinon, il est vachement comfortable et avec un excellent service!

Vi har boet på Sylter Hof Berlin flere gange og har været særdeles tilfredse hver gang. Et særdeles serciceminded personale i en rar atmosfære.
