Rodeway Inn Lackland AFB - Sea World - San Antonio

My daughter and I selected this hotel due to proximity to the base; as we attended my son's graduation from basic training and. Most events required very early morning arrivals. The room reeked of urine when we entered, air conditioning felt more like a swamp cooler and shower water was scalding hot or cold with no in between. Was told by management […] problem would be fixed,but when we arrived back at night it was the same. GREAT HOTEL,GREAT LOCATION,GREAT NEIBORHOOD,CLEAN ROOM,GREAT SERVICE,GRAT EMPLOYEES. THE BEST!!!! AND CLOSE TO SEA WORLD AND ALAMO.

Hotel is clean and convenient- especially if you need to be close to Lackland.

Lobby clerk was very quick to give directions to base for basic graduation/nearby restaurants/and downtown. Motel had a "Psycho" feel, but I wouldn't let that deter me from a good nights rest, economical/ecologic convenient location.

This hotel is gross dirty. We stayed 2 nights and housekeeping showed up at 530 pm to clean our room and give us clean towels. You could tell the bathroom had not had its floor clean in a while. All I can say is...you get what you pay for...At least the air conditioner worked and it was conveniently located close to the Air Force Base.

close to seaworld, lackland ...but the holiday inn was right next door and looked much nicer. we had a dead cock roach in the room. older hotel with a very small pool, cheap though. If I go back I'll stay next door and pay more.

The hotel staff was pleasent. Other than that I should have paid a few more dollars to be comfortable. It was ants near the microwave and my wife was bitten by bed bugs. I did not feel safe at this site. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. I give it a 1 overall.

It was nice and quiet even with the airplanes going over our heads I give it 2 thumbs up.

If you are going to graduation at Lackland Airforce Base and are on a strict budget this hotel is for you. It is very old but the owners keep it up. this is a good place to stay if your here for graduation. really close to the bmt center.

Convenience to Base was great. Surrounding neighborhood - ok. Had trouble with key for the door. Received another key, still had trouble then was moved to another room. Mgmt was very nice throughout the key ordeal, but just a pain to have to deal with.

Could not ask for better hospitality! Every one of the employees we came in contact with were extremely helpful and friendly. This is an older hotel with some problems and our stay was not without issues but each one was addressed immediately and they offered their own personal beverages for our 1 year old when their soda machine was out of juice and […] water. I would definitely recommend, not if you're looking for 5 star accommodations, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to sleep! Crowne Plaza desk personnel were snobbish, rude and unhelpful, they charged $10 per day for WiFi!! As if!! That's comparable to charging me for the air I breath! Compared to them, Rodeway was very sweet and helpful and WiFi, altho not wireless, was free! The continental breakfast was also $14 at Crowne and free at Rodeway. The first night we arrived check in was good, I was a bit hesitant to what the room might look like because of some previous reviews I had read, but it was in good condition, each room has a microwave and a small fridge, so that was good. The second night, when we returned from Sea World, the room was not made, I called the front desk and was told that […] the housekeeping had posted that they had cleaned it, but the trash was all piled up and the beds were not made. The person at front desk said I could go and get some fresh towels and some bags to take out the trash myself. I went but only to pick up the fresh towels, he said he would stop by shortly to take out trash, and he did, I was upset but also appreciated the fact that he went and took the trash out, he also said that he would check with housekeeping to see why they posted that they had cleaned the room when in fact it wasn't clean. For the price and even though we had this inconvenience I would recommend this hotel, you just got to take your chances that your room gets clean on every day you stay there. My brother and his family stayed three doors down and they had no problems, there room was clean both days. Devamı
