Residence Inn By Marriott Fairfax Merrifield - Falls Church

My husband loves to stay at the Residence Inn. We chose this one because of the location and were not disappointed.

Stayed three nights starting April 12, 2012 with my wife. Very nice suite room. Best free breakfast I've ever had. CVS and resturants directly behind hotel.

Nice hotel.great breakfast.Location is a short walk to at least three restaurants and CVS. Under ground garage for bad weather days.

I had booked 2 others before switching over to this place. Other places were a bit seedy. This place is a bit further out... but totally worth it for safety and freebies...great hot breakfast everyday, even small evening meals Mon - Thurs.!!! We enjoyed our stay at Residence Inn very much. The rooms were lovely, provided everything we needed. Any small problems were handled immediately and always with a smile. No grumpies here! The breakfast was wonderful and the staff superb. We will stay there again and recommend it to anyone. Close to the Metro, nice neighborhood, altogether great.

We often stay at Residence Inns By Marriott, but this one in Merrified was the best one we've been in. The location was great (Beltway and rt. 50) and it was wonderful to have a separate living room and bed room. It was very clean, and, of course, I like the free high-speed Internet. My only complaint (and this is usually true at other Residence Inns, […] too) is that the breakfast foods were depleted (including the coffee) and we had to wait 10 minutes or so for them to replenish things. On a weekend morning with so many families, I think Marriott might need to hire a few more kitchen staff. Other than that, this hotel was a winner. Devamı

We were in Virginia for the George Mason convocation event at the patriot Center . Really enjoyed our 2 day stay at the Suite . The place is a couple of blocks from a few cool restaurants a minute walk from YorkTowne center . Place was clean and maintained well. Staff was very friendly . Our stay at the Residence was fantastic! ALL of the staff was courteous, polite, and professionally friendly - especially the Front Desk personnel. The Suite my wife & I stayed in was the best we have stayed in compared to any Hilton, Sheraton, & Holiday Inn we have stayed! Excellent hotel for what we paid. Very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Good restaurants nearby and easy to get to the park and ride for the DC Metro. A little far from a grocery store but that was not a problem as we had rented a car. Free underground parking. Great place to stay for a very reasonable price. Clean and confortable. Behind shopping center which is easy to walk to. Resturants, CVS, Starbucks.... Highly recommend

We found this on hotels.com and were a little hesitant about it because it seemed too good to be true. The rate quoted was below a lot of standard hotels in the area, let alone hotel suites. We are very happy that we booked this place. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable, the surrounding neighborhood is nice also. A small shopping plaza is […] a 30-second walk away. Metro stop is about a mile away. There was secured underground parking, which we used as more of a convenience than over concern about the area. We had booked a studio suite, which was very nice and roomy with a full kitchen in one large space. There was a problem with the a/c unit the first night. The maintenance man came up immediately and began repairs. We arrived back at the room mid-day to change and refresh, and he had unfortunately had to remove the entire unit to replace some parts. Rather than make us work around him and be inconvenienced, he made a call to the desk and got us moved right next door to a one-bedroom suite with separate bedroom. This was a very nice upgrade. The breakfast buffet was delicious. All food was hot and fresh. The servers were constantly refreshing the buffet and clearing off plates from the tables. Our overall experience with Residence Inn by Marriott was excellent. We will definitely look for one at our next vacation spot. Devamı

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. It is close to my daughter's apartment and close to 50 and 495. Breakfast is fabulous and we love having the use of a kitchen and having an extra room. It was pouring rain when we arrived so we appreciated the underground parking garage to unload. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I don't even know where to start with this place! It was clean, cozy, comfy, and all the staff I interacted with were so nice. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping very nearby. The hotel is nicely tucked away from the busy street, so it was so quiet. The breakfast was AMAZING! Fresh fruit, hot eggs and a breakfast meat, yogurt parfaits, waffles, […] and yummy coffee. This hotel was such a great buy and highly recommend it even for short trips. I was there for 2 nights and could've stayed longer! Devamı

It was the perfect location for us as we were visiting my cousin in the Fairfax Hospital down the road. We did not have to go far to get dinner and that was helpful.

Awesome staff members. they treat you with respect and are very helpful. the hotel is very clean even though the actual building seems to be a bit old. very good hotel for the price. close to major highways and only 25 min from wash dc

This hotel is a good value for the money. The buffet breakfast was great. The pillows were not up to standard and a king size bed instead of a queen would have been nice.

The Hotel was very nice, clean, hotel stuff was friendly, romm was nice and clean, little louder AC, but other then that all was good.

Clean room, Great TV, full kitchen, nice breakfast. Everything was fine for the money. In addition, they sent my lost stuff to my home imediately when I called back the hotel after check out.

We were looking for a hotel close to DC and to a friend's home in a nearby town. This is the first time we stayed in a hotel with our 2 yr old daughter. The room was great. They provided us with a pack and play, which was fine. The hotel was clean and breakfast was a nice plus. I would highly recommend this hotel. Es empfiehlt sich eine Tageskarte für $9 zu kaufen (gültig Wochenends und Feiertags sowie unter der Woche ab 9.30 am) für alle Fahrten mit der […] Metro (auch Arlington etc.) - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sehr nah. Außerdem kauft das Personal für den Gast ohne Aufpreis ein – man muss nur eine Einkaufsliste abgegeben (haben wir allerdings nicht ausprobiert) - auch diverse Möglichkeiten zum Essen gehen in der Umgebung. Besonders zu empfehlen: Silver Diner (etwa 8 Minuten in Richtung Metrostation) – lokales Essen, gute Qualität, klassisch amerikanisches Diner-Ambiente (mit Jukebox am Tisch) Hotel: - sehr freundliches, bemühtes und hilfsbereites Personal: Probleme mit der Schranktür wurden – obwohl nur als genereller Hinweis gegeben – am Folgetag behoben - Frühstück inklusive mit viel Auswahl.
