great hotel, very nice staff, comfortable room, and great free hot breakfast buffet

when we checked in we were helped by a new person who kept asking another person how to do things. we had tickets for show and the staff directed us to the previous location for the show. Luckily we went ahead of time to make sure we knew where to go--and found the show (the Haygoods) had moved. We had a rollaway and had to stack the desk on top of […] a table to fit the rollaway in our room. the hotel was on a hill so if it snowed someone would not have been able to drive in/out. the very good thing was the breakfast was very very good--hot food and plenty of choices. the exercize room is tiny. Had a wonderful weekend at the Grand Plaza and they have a great guy at the counter named JOE when you go in... be sure to ask for him. He will bend over to make your stay grate. The only thing disapointing was there was no hot water to fill the Jacuzzi but i guess eveyone must have decided to take a hot sshower at the same time.. Overal it was a very […] fine hotel. Very nice hotel breakfast was not just muffins and cereal indoor pool for the kids. Would stay here again.

Stayed here before, will stay again. However, would have been nice to know the indoor pool area was closed for renovations. No pool, no hot tub, no fitness facilities were available. The main reason we chose this hotel for this trip was to be able to use these. I can understand hotels.com not having this updated info, but the hotel itself could have […] notified me. The bath tub was very slow in draining. Water was ankle deep or more by the time my shower was done.

This hotel was close to town and very convenient. However, we stayed on Christmas Day, and on this day, housekeeping did not work and everything in town was shut down. What were we thinking! Everything in the room was okay, other than I wished it had a microwave. The room was very small but, you get what you pay for. My kids loved the game room and […] the late nights at the pool. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We were in room 801. The noise from the floor above (kitchen?) didn't stop until after 11:00pm and woke us up at 5:00am. there were carts rolling around, things being dropped and dishwashers(?) running. When we first entered the room there were potato chip crumbs on the floor between the beds. upon opening the bed an empty "Pringles" can rolled out […] from under the bed. The stool would not "flush" only drain slowly. On the plus side: the personell were very friendly, the towels and washcloths were very thick and soft and the pillows were great. Branson's Grand Plaza Hotel was not on the main street as we felt the internet listing makes you believe but a little off path. So driving is almost needed. The hotel is clean, the resturant very nice, friendly, and decent prices. Carts for checking in & out were almost not existent which was a real problem for many visitors. It actually took us four […] trips up & down to 7th floor with our luggage. We waited over 1/2 an hr for a cart. Each guest receives a cookie or two-but my, my do not go over that limit! That was "tacky" for a hotel that size and cost. The front desk acutally monitors if you took more then your share! Devamı

we had a nonsmoking room that smelled like someone had been smoking very heavily in, and the sheets were dirty so we went to Wal mart and bought our own after we used them, we did not wash them we just threw them away

Clean hotel,friendly atmosphere, courteous workers. Overall a nice place to stay.

The service in the hotel is good. We have 2 yr old kid & as committed by staff they have provide a room with crib. Excellent breakfast buffet. stayed long hr till 11am for checkout.. The service in hotel should be improved like elevator. They have only 2 elevator where we have stay long to get into lift. Its located right in the middle of the Branson […] main street.. Our hotel was in a very convenient location. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was small, so was the bathroom. If you get put on the 8th floor you can hear the singer early in the morning. Our room did not get cleaned one day. The cleaning staff leaves at 3pm. When we got back and noted that our room was still not cleaned, we were told that […] it was too late to clean our room. This hotel was very beautiful, had a wonderful full breakfast and wonderful entertainment. It was located to very good shopping and all the shows we wanted to see. Staff was wonderful, rooms were clean and comfortable. Will be coming back.

Our family went down for our daughters 13th birthday and the first night the hotel fire alarm went off and the fire dept. Could not locate a fire and had trouble resetting the alarm. We hung out in the lobby and eventually left to drive around because it was about 2 hrs before we could enter the room. No apologies were said. You can hear people in the […] other rooms which was annoying. My husband went up to the restaurant on the ninth floor for lunch after he attempted room service several times and was put on hold every time and the waitress came to the table with a cigarette in her mouth to take his order. Great Location. Friendly people. Comfortable Room. Good breakfast.

We have stayed in this hotel 3 times. I like the sports bar on top floor, but warning they shut down early if it is a slow evening (can't blame em). Minor room repairs & attention needs to be given, but I won't give details because I still like this hotel. Nonetheless, for the extra $ I pay, I will probaby shop around next visit. Our hotel stay wasa great one....room was clean and comfortable. The bed were comfortable also. THe hotel had a great hot free breakfast every morning from 7-10. I will stay at this hotel again.

During my stay the staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a nice breakfast setup for the guests including being able to make your own waffles. The room was clean and spacious with a nice size bathroom. The location of the Grand Plaza is very convienent as its on the main drag next to the Tanger Outlets and none of the main attractions are far […] from it. There is a restaurant and bar on the 9th floor. I didn't eat there except for breakfast so can't rate the food but the bar staff was friendly and the owner is a pleasant gentleman, a former pitcher for the Phillies and fun to talk to. I would definitley consider returning to this hotel if I travel to Branson again. When the phone was broken, they had maintenence in about 15 minutes (turns out the last guest put the receiver in the data port). When there was a noisy guest blaring rap music, within 5 minutes they were hunting down the moron. The free breakfast was simply amazing and […] the indoor pool/hot tub was awesome. The Grand Plaza was everything that I had expected it to be... It was very nice and clean as well as affordable...I would recommend this Hotel to anyone that is looking for friendly service nice surroundings as well as easy access to everything...As a matter fact we plan on staying there the next time we go to Branson...

Overall our stay was good. My husband said the pool needed to be scrubbed, but he and the kids still enjoyed swimming and the hot tub. Both of us thought the beds were uncomfortable. Clean; hotels.com rate good; very pleased with free breakfast on 9th floor; good wireless Internet; nice hotel and well run. Only minor complaints would be mattress not quite as firm as I like, and closet pretty small.

I don't know how to rate the hotel housekeeping because the second day we were there our room was not touched. Dirty towels on floor and trash cans full. Never had this happen ever anywhere. It must have been an oversight. Outside of this we liked everything about the hotel.

located right accross from the best discount shopping in Branson and also in the middle of the strip. convieient to everything. close to the Denny's for the late night snack after the shows. Hotel is very clean and personnel are very friendly and helpful. a wondeful place to stay.

This is my second stay and the hotel is clean and comfortable with a really nice complimentary breakfast buffet. The only complaint I have for this stay is that I noticed an odor in my room like natural gas so had maintenance come to the room and check it. He said he couldn't smell anything. The hotel is clean and updated and is conveniently located just off the busy strip so you can take the alternate routes. It sits across the road from the Tanger Outlet Mall and just down the road from another outlet mall. We were pleased with the location, the amenities, condition of the hotel, and quality of service. We stayed 2 nights and on our second day the Do Not Disturb sign was on our door until we left the room for the day after breakfast. We turned the sign to clean the room when we left and also told the guys cleaning our floor that we were leaving for a while. When we returned a few hours later the room hadn't been touched. Once the maids had noted the […] Do Not Disburb sign they didn't bother to check back after seeing us leave for the day. We will probably use this property in the future.

We stayed three nights and the hotel really exceeded my expectations. The reviews I read were not as good as some surrounding hotels, but we were very well satisfied. The hot breakfast was far better than the cold sweet rolls and possibly hot waffle.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. Very good location. Rooms very clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast is very good and will continue to stay at this hotel for our Branson trips.

small suites, not grand. off main drag made it easier to get out. dining and lounge a little dated.

The beds were comfortable, and the decor was nice. The pool and hot tub could have used a little more attention, but were not unbearable. But the breakfast....was by far the best in any hotel we've ever stayed in!! I would definately recommend this hotel for a good nights stay.

Hotel was fine for the price. Nothing exceptional, but nothing wrong with it. Room did include a breakfast buffet, which was more than the usual cold cereal and danish. I would stay there iagain if I return to Branson.

Hotel is getting old and needs remodeling. Housekeeping needs improvement. During our stay the carpet never got vacumed. The hotel is close to everything and easy to get in and out of.

We reserved a non smoking room with two queen size beds, when we checked in we were put in a non smoking room with a king size bed on the smoking floor. The room smelled like smoke. We were on the 8th floor right under where they serve breakfast, at around 4:00 am were awaken by the sound of people walking around on the 9th floor getting ready for breakfast. […] We had to plan to sleep in.
