The staff is excellent. However, I called to report that our heat was not working. They gave me suggestions on how to operate the thermostat but I told them I had done those maneuvers. The wifi in this hotel was great. With the frequent stay club it's free, and without its $10 a day which isn't bad for this type of hotel. Highly recommend.

We always love the Kimpton Hotels. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are cozy and offer a great mini bar with many juices, beers, and munchies. Only problem is the pluming is easy to hear from other rooms. You know when the room next to you or above is flushing, washing or showering.

This hotel from the time we checked in was very comforting and friendly. The staff was accommodating and everyone seemed to genuinely care and always give unforced smiles. I have stayed at other top named hotels in Denver but I will guarantee you not only is the Hotel Monaco more comfortable and affordable, but their restaurant, Panzano, is incredible […] and a place you must eat at even if you do not stay at the hotel. If you decide to stray away from the hotel, you are one block from 16th street where there is shopping and more restaurants. LoDo is about a 5-8 minute walk, and there is access to practically everything within about a 10 minute walk in downtown. I cannot wait to return to Denver and stay at the Hotel Monaco again. Devamı

We checked in about 5pm and out about 8am. Wish we could have been there longer. Room was very nice and staff so friendly. Hated having to rush in and out.

Onsite Spa & Dining to boot! This was a great deal on Hotels.com. When we pulled up to the curb two bellmen hopped to open our doors and grab our luggage...although we were left to take everything upstairs ourselves. A free wine tasting for the guests was being hosted in the ornate lobby when we checked in. There is also water flavored by natural fruit […] for guests in the lobby. Upon checking in we quenched our thirst with strawberry infused water and pineapple upon our check out. There are numerous touches that feel like either the Hotel ZaZa in Houston or Dallas but not as over the top. i.e., a spotted cow near the elevator banks, leopard print bathrobes and socks, and bold colors but no mannequins in hanging cages. Not all of the hotel was decorated to my tastes but it was nice to stay somewhere that is unique and offers a different setting than a standard cookie-cutter room found in most other hotel chains. The standard king room felt a bit small but was adequate for 1 night with plans outside of the hotel. Same for the restroom. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Tall ceilings on the 6th floor (Ste 609) helped make the room feel larger but don't expect a great view from this suite. The ubiquitous desk and flat screen TVs were present and the offerings in the mini-bar and snacks above were above standard but not outrageously priced. If you forget any little item at home (phone charger, Q-Tips, toothpaste, etc.) they offer to provide them free of charge. If what you lack isn't on their list, they say they will go and get it for you free of charge. We did not put this to the test. The ladies enjoyed the onsite Aveda Spa but noted that the woman working the spa desk was very rude and only provided very short answers to simple questions. The onsite restaurant is Panzano which serves Italian and offers a free glass of wine at dinner if you make a reservation from your room. The Hotel Monaco is a great place to stay in Denver. Nice ammenities, free wine hour, and very pet friendly!

This is the best kept secret in Denver. I have seen other Kimpton Hotels, but this one I have stayed in 3 times now. I am a professional traveler, and this is currently my favorite hotel. The style, service, and amenities are all the best. The best is they allow Hotels.com t o have a great price, opening the hotel to a much broader audience.

This is not the first time that we've had to request a room change due to a barking or whining dog left in the room next door to ours. It is a pain in the a-- to change rooms once you've settled in and this time we left an article of clothing that was lost for a day until house-keeping arrived the next morning. Due to impecible service employees, we […] retreved our lost clothes. We go to hotels to 1) SLEEP and then 2) relax, 3) enjoy the amenities. Think we will pass up Hotel Monaco in the future because, with their pet-friendly policy, the risk of barking dogs in the next room is a real and present danger to guests (like us) who really need their sleep for grueling business day ahead. I booked this hotel because all my friends were staying here. I heard they were pet friendly so brought my dog along as I had nowhere else to leave her. When we checked in we were greeting right away and helped with our bags. After I checked in I declared my large dog and was waiting to pay a fee and be moved to a different (lower quality) room. All […] they required me to do was sign a waiver and asked if I needed dog bowls and a bed for my dog. They catered to me and my dog the room and bedding was crisp and clean, you couldn’t tell other pets had been there no smells no hair, nothing. If I were to travel back to Denver without my dog, I would stay here again. It’s a very nice hotel full of courteous people. I enjoyed my stay Devamı

The hotel is located right downtown within walking distance of all of downtown Denver's attractions. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Our family (myself, my husband and toddler) live within an hour's drive but found ourselves needing a weekend get-away. Hotel Monaco was perfect for what we were looking for! Luxurious decor in the lobby and rooms, close enough to walk and take in 16th Street, and very friendly staff. They were kind and accommodating in every way. We have 2 children and a dog and have stayed at many downtown hotels but we love the Monaco. There is never any hassles, the staff are very kind, and the rooms are always clean and nicely done. If I would change anything it would be the comfort of the beds. They are "ok" but I believe the linens and pillows could be softer and higher quality. Other […] than that, great place to stay!!!! We stayed here in December of 2011 for three days and had a wonderful time. The rooms are modern and comfortable, the staff was very helpful and the hotel has a lot to offer. In addition to the wonderful restaurant in the lobby, the hotel has many events in their lobby to offer. When we stayed here, one night they did a wine and calamari tasting (free […] of charge) and the next day they had a wonderful charity bring in their dogs to take pictures with guests. Great experience overall. Valet parking was a little expensive in my book to be uncovered and next to a self-parking lot that would have been cheaper.

Friendly staff, great beds,nice club and restaurant. Really enjoyed the free shuttle to downtown. Our only complaint was that there was alot of cold air coming in around the window.Mentioned it to the front desk the next morning,said they would be sure to check it out.

Everything you need in a hotel with a good location. Only problem was parking...you either paid $31 for valet or used one of other lots, which on our stay costed $24. Maybe I'm crazy but parking should be included.

We always try to stay at the Hotel Monaco in Denver as the rooms are terrific, the location fantastic and the service wonderful

First of all, this was not my first time staying at the hotel. It has a great location, it's clean, comfortable, and the staff is great...excellent service. This time I stayed in one of the Monaco Suites. The room was very nice and spacious and and everything was great until I began to unpack...that is when I noticed that there was no place to hang […] clothes! I believe that this is the first time that I have ever stayed in a room in any hotel that had no provision to hang clothes...no closet of any kind! There was plenty of wardrobe space, but I just found it odd that you couldn't hang anything up...I looked everywhere, just to make sure it wasn't hidden (if it was, it was hidden very well!). One other usual amenity that was not provided was a hairdryer. Other than that, it was a great room and I enjoed my stay. Devamı

This hotel was amazing! The staff was friendly and sporting their Bronco gear for the big game. The only thing I would recommend is free parking for guests. There is a lot of parking surrounding the hotel but I think the hotel pricing for parking was a little high. Other than that I am 100% satisfied! (The Goldfish was a hit!)

The Hotel was wonderful. They were all very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable. Just be sure to bring your own hair dryer.

Always enjoy my stay here but for $31 to keep my car over nite they should wash it !! Anyway I like there style

Great accommodation with a perfect location to enjoy downtown Denver and its surroundings. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is dog-friendly and the restaurant in the hotel is AMAZING!

This hotel was very nice and the staff was very professional and willing to help with anything we needed. Our only complaint is we wished our room had a couch or lounge chair in it. Would stay again anytime.
